Snowmobiling trip - trail access from hotel parking lot, with sled parking outside your room and large trailer and truck parking behind the hotel. Breakfast included

The staff wasn’t very knowledgeable and unhelpful the property was run down. Tv quality was like we were watching a snow storm. Getting hot water to the bathroom took 10-15 mins. Room cleanliness was poor didn’t contact the desk to help as pervious interaction wasn’t good we cleaned it ourselves. Very disappointed in experience and the stay.

Very clean. We were able to walk to the shops no problem. The ATV trails are right next to this hotel.

We had an excellent stay. The game room was fun, the pool was large and nice and warm, the sauna was nice, the entire property was very clean! My only complaint is that the hot tub was broken. Overall, had a great stay. Ignore the reviews which say the place is dirty, I hardly believe them considering how the font office person was concerned about cleanliness of the pool to the point where she had to unlock the access to get in.

I have dust allergy and been sneezing constantly in the room.
Apart from it, staffs were welcoming and friendly, and breakfast was good.

IIt was pretty noisy. Not only from the traffic but from the people in the next room. We could hear not only the television but also their conversation.

Uneven steps to unit are a hazard for seniors.
Not able to buy refreshments at the desk without cash, debit not accepted, was inconvenient.
Breakfast was well done, good selection.
Having the 24" mini fridge set on the floor not raised ..again inconvenient for seniors.
Tv reception was adequate but the picture pixels were very poor, reminded me of the late '60's.

Like the convience f location for our visit to bancroft. Just the problems with traveling with a toddler eye level fridge easy for him to get into. And even with safety chain on hes still able to squeeze thru door.

A good place to stay while traveling through the area.
The place is within walking distance of shops and places to eat in Bancroft. Parking was convenient and check in was easy. The building and rooms are “tired” and in need of renovation but they were clean and everything functioned properly.

Booked the suite and didn't really know I was booking the suite until check in; I only wanted 2 queen beds. There's what sounds like a cricket stuck in the washroom walls. Place is clean but run down. Grout needs a good cleaning and refresh. However, the beds are comfortable! Linen is clean! AC is cold! Free breakfast! That's what matters.

While our room was clean, the property could use a makeover. The outside gardens . Plus there was a bag of garbage sitting on the ground outside of doorway that was leaking was there when we arrived and still there when we left.
I will say that the front reception staff eere awesome!, especially Rhonda. She kept my dog with her while I had a swim. So sweet of her. Thank you again for that.

Not a bad place but in much need of updates. Beds are comfortable.. hot water slow to come out if taps but if you know this just turn on the tap in advance of usage.

We were on the second level and it was easy to get to with the small amount of luggage we had for an overnight. All the windows opened to get fresh air. Room had a microwave and fridge and the bed was very comfortable. There was only one comfy chair though for watching TV. Breakfast was okay but the coffee was not.

The staff was very friendly, the lady we met at the front desk was extremely nice. That first impression made me like the place right away. Same thing when we went for breakfast in the morning, that lady at the front desk was just as nice. Room was old but clean, restaurants, grocery store, ice cream all walkable distances. We would stay there again.

Travelling for the first time with a 19 month old found the suite to be perferct for him to play in , as well as sit to enjoy his snacks and breakfast. He enjoyed his time at the pool as well . Some minor issues he was able to unlock the door and squeeze thru the door with chain on and was constantly in the fridge as it was at his level , playing with the phone calling front desk, all things he presented us with but we found solutions for. Looki g forward to our next visit.

Just outside of Bancroft. ATV and skidoo paridise. Complimentary bfast at the hotel was great. WAFFLES AND COFFEE WERE AMAZING. Indoor pool was an added bonus but the hottub was down. The room had two queen sized beds and full bath, a microwave and a fridge. These were great additions to the room especially with small kids. Cons. The tv satellite channels were continuously disrupted and you couldnt watch tv. The A/C unit is loud and might disrupt your sleep throughout the course of your night. The room is musky and needs to be aired out and the carpet is dank and needs to be cleaned. Bathroom fan also needs to work. Great lil hotel just needs some work.
