Well we had two problems the Ac did not get as cold as we had it set to and asked for it to be fixed but never got an update and we ran out of toilet paper and called for some but never received it!

The room was clean, mattress was awesome but for $200 a night they CHARGED for the same breakfast you receive in almost every other hotel. Surely they aren’t so broke that they can give away a bagel!

The fire extinguisher light in the ceiling flashed all night. It didn't beep but was a constant flash. The mattress was awful as well as the pillows!
I will say the staff was very friendly and professional.

We had a great stay. Our only issue was we asked twice for more towels. We ended up having to go to the front desk and get some.

The front desk clerk told that they should have told me that when I booked or shouldn’t have let me book the room. Also the room didn’t have hot water for hours my first night. And the air in my room wasn’t working. It was my worst hotel experience

For the most part, it was quiet, except for our last day, there was a lot of banging in the morning.

Stayed here for a 1-night stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and the cookies were warm. Can’t complain.

There was plumbing issues. The bathroom sick spewed old sewer residue and the water slowly drained out along with the faucet leaking.

The property was pleasant other than there not being any hot water available prior to settling down for the night. Fortunately, there was hot water available the following morning.

I enjoyed my stay overall. Everything was seamless! Only thing I didn’t like was the clerk Sonya wouldn’t give me a printout at checkout. She said Expedia would send it to me. I’ve always received printouts from hotels when I check out.

The lady who checked us in was very nice. I only have one complaint our floor was loud our neighbor kept slamming the door

My room had adjoining doors to rooms on both sides. You could hear every word people said in both rooms. It was so loud, it woke me up 2 nights in a row. It was one of the noisiest hotels I’ve ever stayed at.

Room was disappointing and close to elevator. We received a handicap equipes room. The shower was totally inadequate. Breakfast was some stale bagel or pastries for $13 ! Warm breakfast typical hotel style $18. We forgot a comb and asked the desk clerk if they had any, which they didn’t I expected more from a Hilton property.

I got there at 9pm to catch up a flight next day and from my first interaction it was just aggravating. The place is filthy and they have a motor cleaning machine that makes noise up to tbe room. The staff was rude and overall if you want to relax you won’t find it there.
They also charge 28$ for the most basic breakfast which is unheard of. Stay away from this hotel

First time to Alabama to stay overnight and enjoyed myself! The food at the restaurant was fabulous!! Enjoyed my stay! Front desk two ladies that night were amazing and the male tip on check out was super nice !

I read alot of reviews before picking to stay here at the Double Tree and I’m still looking for what all of the negative reviews were talking about. Everything was wonderful at this hotel! The breakfast was delicious, the people who did the breakfast were very nice! The front desk service was excellent, everything we asked for we received with a smile! The rooms were spacious and clean upon arrival. I especially enjoyed the cool lights in the bathroom, the nice shower, and the Direct Tv! The hotel was fully booked the time I was there but there was no wait for the elevator! Lastly the view is amazing we stayed on the 8th floor and its the most beautiful view! Overall I would absolutely stay here again! Thank you Double Tree for helping my family and I have a safe, comfortable place to lay our heads! We will be back!
