The hotel was under construction… which is fine and understandable. However the front desk service was terrible, the attendant had the worse attitude and demeanor . She definitely does not need to work in the hospitality industry. Personally I think she needs to be fired . She was not friendly, was not informative , and does not need to work at the front desk. It was disgusting. The women in the front does not greet the guest when walking through the lobby … they are just horrible all around

Very disappointing. We’ve stayed at many Marriott properties and were always happy with the property. This was a complete completely different experience. We were not told the hotel was going through a major renovation. There was no elevator nor anyone to help us get our luggage to our second floor room. An employee watched us struggle with the stairs/luggage and did nothing to assist us.
The room appeared to still be under renovation. Lamps were not plugged in nor were the cords even out of the original packaging. The shower was dirty, towels were restocked once and trash was never removed from the one small can. We were told the room would be serviced every 3 days which did not occur.
The most disturbing thing was when a person claiming to be maintenance started banging on the door and shouting. As we had not asked for maintenance we did not answer the door. He came back and repeated this. We spoke with the front desk who would neither confirm nor deny they had sent anyone. We would have changed hotels but we were prepaid nonrefundable.

only one soap for sink and shower; got more at front desk - next day, housekeeping removed all but one! Carpet was filthy, leaving tracks when I showered (each night). One lamp socket was empty -a safety hazard! Should be 12 shower door clips - one missing.

Hotel was in terrible condition. Dirty towels on the balcony when I arrived along with a broken desk chair. The carpet was filthy and overall cleanliness was a 3/10!

Stayed 4 dayes - 2 days the internet did not work, and no one in reception took any responsibility. One of my collegaues arrived 1 day later, she should wait hours to check inn due to IT issues.
Stayed their probably 10 times the last 2 years - always accpeted the renovation going on, but now I have had enough (still under renovation)

When I arrived at the hotel I did see they have renovations going on but they still could have kept the other rooms that haven't been renovated clean. The shower had hair in it, the doors were dirty the carpets had bad stains. I woke up 630 a.m. to have breakfast. I knew you had to pay for breakfast so I made sure my breakfast was included. I talked to the people at the desk and they said it wasn't. And were rude about it. Also the restaurant part wasn't open. They weren't sure when the person was coming. They said they will call the room and they didn't. I try to cancel the hotel but I couldn't. The next day I went to front desk to show them my email said it was included they gave a 10 dollar voucher for the rest of my stay and told me breakfast end at 10. While they were helping me they were on their phone having a personal conversation wearing the ear piece. The breakfast is really good. But the last day of our stay we got to the bistro a little after 930 and they couldn't cook breakfast because on weekdays it stops at 930. The lady that was on her phone didn't inform me. So I wasted my money for 2 days because I wasn't able to use the breakfast voucher. It wasn't my fault it was the front desk that gave me misinformation.

Can’t believe this hotel bears the Marriott name. They state on Hotels.Com that they have a restaurant and lounge. They have neither. Also has no elevator. My shower drain was clogged and sink drain stopper was broken. Also no microwave in room and fridge froze everything and could not be adjusted. Travel four days a week for work and this was a terrible experience.

The property is in construction, elevator is out of service due to construction. My room had dirty laundry in the closet from the last guest. They should not be open during this renovation period. Poor for the price.

I was very pleased with the condition of my room, the parking, and the courteous evening and morning staff. I had read, prior to my Atlanta trip, reviews that disparaged this Courtyard. Yes, the property is undergoing renovations so parts are old looking/ smelling. But, my experience was entirely pleasant.

The hotel is currently going through renovations….however, this is 2 days from 2024!!! I was extremely disappointed that this hotel didn’t have microwaves in ANY rooms, had to walk down to front desk to use a microwave , also, there was a mini cube fridge in the room. If traveling 4 or more days, not acceptable, could barely put anything in it!!! Carpet in room and hallway needed cleaning. No elevator!!! As it stands right now, I won’t return until I know what the updates are. Friendly staff though!!! Accommodating!!

Place is undergoing renovations, the carpet is dirty, staff in not helpful, ice machine didn’t work, no one ever came and tidied my room,blood stain on my sheets, the pillow cases are dingy, went and bought my own,elevator didn’t work, and I ran in a foot race, so my legs were hurting, walking up a flight of steps wasn’t pleasant. the vendor/hotel should have mentioned this at time of booking. I know they are taking over from a motel, but it’s still giving motel ambiance I will never book here again.

The fire alarm went off 4 times on our second night. They never replaced a lightbulb, the TV was dark, the wall paper was peeling, and a portion of the fence around the pool was toppled over in to the pool area and not cleaned up in a timely manner

The fire arlarm went off 11:30 at night. Flashing light went on for hours. Trash all around the property (room was clean) halway floors stained looked like a crime scene. Portable ac in the loby, very loud and tastless. I expected so much better from a Marriott

The property is under renovation. At this time there is no elevator. There is a 2nd floor. Be mindful of that. Nice pool. Very convenient to Atlanta-Midtown.

Unfortunately, I didn’t have a good experience. The bathtub in my room was clogged. There were stains on the bed sheets and also lots of bugs flying in the room.

Hotel is presently under renovation. 1. One of the side entry doors had a cable lock on it. 2. Common hallway and stairway carpet was extremely soiled, 3. Grounds/landscape have 2 feet weeds near rear parking curb, 4. TV periodically frozen and lost connection, 5. We spotted small ants in our room, 6. Either someone was smoke in the their room and using perfume to mask the smell or the deodorizer cleaning staff is using smells like smoky perfume. We asked to change rooms. Smell was no longer noticed in the room but in the hallway it was noticable, 7. The key to our new room did not work and someone had to come to reset the lock, 8. No elevator service

Okay, well my stay initially didn't start out correctly due to ongoing renovations at the property...yet, the amazing staff at Courtyard by Marriott made the trip a pleasurable experience at the end. Rooms are spacious and the Starbucks in lobby was the winner!!!
The pool was great and the location is conveniently perfect for easy access to shopping, restaurants and interstate travel. Will definitely stay again soon.

I never leave reviews.. especially bad ones, but needed to here.
The front desk staff was not very welcoming. When checking me in, the lady asked a question and immediately the - I think - manager came over and took over. With out asking me any questions she ran my card to charge me for the room - the room I had already paid for on orbitz. I told her I had already paid and she said “oh I thought you wanted to put it on another card for some reason”. I never gave any reason for her to think that. I checked my acct a few days later and realized the charge was still there after she said she cancelled it. I thought it may be the charge for incidentals but after another week it was still there. I called the property twice to ask for a refund. Both times they said “someone will call you back”. No one ever called me back.
I called corporate offices a week ago and they too said someone will call you back and you will get an email regarding this claim. I have gotten no call or email from them. Thankfully, my bank refunded me but Marriot has done NOTHING helpful and has kept $117 of mine I did not authorize.
The property itself was undergoing construction which was annoying. There was no working elevator and the room was very musty and the door to the balcony left open with the room very hot.
Will not be staying here ever again and will probably never give my money to Marriott again.

Charles the manager was excellent. Very accommodating. Hotel is in a great location CAN’T wait to see what it looks like after renovation. Asked one of the other young lady clerks for housekeeping and extra towels -she didn’t put in the request so we didn’t get any services
