Just a quick over night stay

The room itself was fairly clean, but the OVERWHELMING smell of marijuana made our first night almost unbearable. We asked to be moved to another room, but the hotel was fully booked for a busy weekend. We went out and bought some Febreeze and ran the air conditioner, fan, and kept door open to air out. This was a NON SMOKING room.

It’s just a very old and dated property. The room was big, but the bathroom needs a lot of work. Dirty grout all over the bathroom. Hairs in the tub, before anyone had showered. It could be awesome with some updates.

We visit Starkville frequently to visit our MSU student. We planned a last minute trip and our usual spot was booked up because of Bulldog weekend. We were able to secure a room at the Days Inn. We were pleased with the location, the quality for the rate, the cleanliness and comfort.

We booked two nights and left after one!! This was possibly the nastiest hotel we have ever stayed in. The entire town of Starkville was booked due to Super Bulldog Weekend. We decided to drive back home after the baseball game vs staying another night at this hotel. I didn’t feel safe, it smelled, felt damp, the hotel room was so old and literally falling apart & the noise from the parking lot kept us up all night long. This motel could have been in a low budget horror movie.

Got a non smoking room and when I open the door I was immediately hit with the strongest smell of cigarettes. The wall outlets where iffy on if they would power anything or not and I found cockroaches in my room

It was an alright stay all together but the one thing about that place is the scratchy blankets. Bed was comfortable but the blankets were so rough.

My only problem is that in the past I’ve stayed there and I’ve never received my deposits for about 5 consecutive stays I really want my money because I have kids and dogs to feed it’s not fair they don’t give me my money when I’ve always left the rooms the best cleaning as possible myself

Supposed to be a non smoking room.. the room wreaked of smoke. There were lots of beer cans and other trash in the parking lot.. The bathroom was disgusting, the shower knob came off in my hand, looked for a tv channel guide and there were old chips in the drawer of the night stand.. very disappointed I will never stay here again

Family members gathered for Homegoing Service. We needed accommodations that were within distance for all the activities,

Older facility but clean for the most part. I was in 112 next to ice machine and washer n dryers so we had a few roaches that strayed in but left after we got back into room at night.
Kid at front desk had some good recs for stuff tondo and places to eat.
I would stay here again.

. Bed was broken or springs broke. I just slept on other side. I believe I was overcharged. Should have been 80.00 per night. Was charged 85.00 plus tax. My card was charged 133.50 and 93.50.

The toilet was leaking. The floor had a puddle of water on it upon arrival. I told the staff at check out and he only said I will have them to fix it. He didn’t say I will give a discount off or anything. I think that was very rude. It made me feel like I have your money and you leaving no matter what you say.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The bath's plug did not work and so you could not take a bath because the water would not fill up.
There were guest who were up all night talking very loudly and you could hear everything from the room.
It really was a nice hotel though. Very convenient for the one night I needed.

i got a surprise when we signed in of a $40 deposit for damages,etc this shd have been included in reservation as I did not mine giving it to them but now he told me it would be several weeks before it was cleared from my credit card. do not like surprises and it shd be handled some other way

The room was very spacious, and the bed was comfortable. However, out of six lamps in the room, only two worked, and the television had sound but no picture. I reported it to the front desk clerk, who seemed unconcerned. When I got coffee in the morning, “breakfast” was very lacking. There were three types of cereal, prepackaged muffins and biscuits, and bananas that were nearly rotten.

Website claims they have this whole list of breakfast foods, they do not. The refrigerator was nasty with spilled juice and milk. Claim they have waffles, they do not. They have a waffle maker, but with no mix. They have coffee, but no sugar. They have yogurt, but only for 1 person. If you like cereal for breakfast and don’t mind community milk then this is the place. We will never stay here EVER AGAIN!

Room was not what I expected. I will go back to Holiday Express going forward. Bath tub was filthy and the overall location was low class in my opinion.

Had a late check in so I called ahead. Andrew the desk manager said that was no problem. When we got there, he was very cordial and quick. The next morning, the morning manager was just as cordial; we got fresh coffee and muffins then checked out.

The property is very easy to find . The room was nice and clean. There wasn't any noisy times at allso i actually had a good night's sleep. I would definitely visit this Days Inn again.

The young man who checked us in was wonderful. The room was awful. There was a mouse in the room, the toilet ran on and off all night, there were cigarette holes in the bedspreads, and the check in / lobby area was totally run down. The worst part was we paid about $400 for the room. Never again.
