Very Palm Beach! Love it.

Asked for something special for celebrating our 50th birthdays & was told there was a live music man at the pool. Our room faced a stone wall. There were ants in the room under & on the desk. Then the noise all night. I’m feel like someone was doing cleaning or something so got only 2 hours of sleep. Then confusion with paying as another company came up on my Apple Card for a different amount for amenities. Not a great experience other than dinner at Swiftys.

It was just okay. For the price point I expected the rooms to be nicer and they are quite small, the light switches didn’t work in our room so I had to move the dresser and unplug the light. Not the biggest deal, but for $600 a night I shouldn’t have to do that. We went to grab dinner at the restaurant but the unfriendly hostesses said we had to wait 20 mins when there were lots of table open so we just ordered room service. Pool is on top of the tables so not very relaxing. I would recommend going down the road to the Breakers.

Our stay at The Colony was amazing from start to finish. The people are all super amazing. Friendly and professional. The decor is the cutest of all time. The bed was comfortable.

I always love staying at The Colony. Chris, one of the hospitality staff is by far the most incredible employees who works incredibly hard and creates an experience that is top notch. Old school hotel that oozes charm. All the chic people are seen there!

The Colony is one of the most chic hotels around. But it’s not perfect. Would I stay again? Absolutely. But there are a few things I wish I’d know before going. Despite the hotel being exquisitely designed, some of the craftsmanship in the rooms themselves is pathetic. Our Jr Suite had air vents hanging off the walls, electrical plates not fully covering their boxes, some of the worst wallpaper work I’ve ever seen in our bathroom, with patch jobs, crooked lines, and holes in the very expensive paper. Parts of the rooms were missing floor boards or moulding trim. And the awkward bathroom was the smallest I’ve had in ages. While the hotel staff have the best of intentions, communication breakdowns are frequent and can be frustrating. Their concierge texting system is great when it works. But a few times during our stay, it took almost 20 minutes for someone to respond. If you’ve requested a ride for a dinner reservation or your car from valet, that can be really annoying. For a hotel with turndown service, it was highly unexpected for us to return to our room at 1pm and not find it cleaned yet, despite our having been out of the room for four hours. So I sent a request via text. They apologized and said they would send someone straight away. Three hours later when we returned again, now almost 4pm, they still hadn’t cleaned the room. It was then cleaned and turndown service provided at the same time. Not typical of a hotel of this caliber. Oh - and no slippers.

This place is awesome! Great customer service! Great area! The French toast for brunch was the best we’ve ever had! Quiet, quaint. Less than a block from Worth Avenue and fabulous restaurants that they will drive you to. One block from the beach! Such a great vacation!

I asked for good light and they put me in a dungeon with a brick wall alley on ome side and air conditioning units on the other. the staff are all super friendly not including the front desk they don't even say hi very strange considering how well the rest of the team treats you.

We spent five nights at the Colony and could not have asked for a better experience. The staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly every step of the way! The rooms are a bit dated, but the renovation this summer will solve that and we can’t wait to return! The location was perfect, and the beach access with the set up was outstanding (Thank you, Chris!!). Loved all the friendly employees who made our stay that much better, and the decor and ambience were perfectly “pink” for our first Palm Beach stay!

Beautiful / friendly / rooms and hallways a ltyle dated but clean

The location is unbeatable-a block from the ocean and a block from the finest shops. The staff are outstanding--courteous and helpful at all times. The historic property is maintained with loving care. It is an historic building so the guestrooms and bathrooms are small by current standards. Guests need to see that potential drawback as retaining the integrity of the hotel and a reminder of times past.

I really enjoyed the chic feeling of the property, the restaurant, the amenities, the details etc. We only had 2 issues during our stay: -Room is a bit dusty because of vintage furniture and a lot of fabric -The valet hit our car we have a couple of scratches on the right side of our car Everything else was great!
