The hotel was nice and had space in the rooms we had. The shower was hard to figure out as far as water temp. They charge quite a bit for parking. There was in one od the two rooms we had water damage coming from the room above in our room seeping into the wall. The bar downstairs has a lot of smokers outside in the evening right by the door as you come in with smaller kids that concerned me they had to walk through that to get to the lobby/elevator to our room

We always enjoy staying at the Adler. This time when checking in they did not have the king bed room we requested. When we told them the room with 2 queen beds was fine they comped us a free night of valet parking for our troubles. Just what we would expect from the great staff at the Adler!

The hotel is very attractive. It is conveniently located near Griffith Park, Hollywood attractions, restaurants and shops. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable.
I stayed here last year and parking was free and in a covered garage. This year it was $38.50/night and in an open lot next to the street.

We loved everything except terrible hard as rock pillows! Otherwise perfect💜

This place is easy access to the Greek and the Hollywood Bowl
This place is charming, LOTS of great Hollywood memorabilia. Rooms are updated beautifully.
I would come back

Location great. Didn’t have a great check in experience. Had to wait a long time for someone at reception to appear. Then gave me hassle about check in and parking because my husband wasn’t with me, he was trying to figure out where to park. Not a good first impression.

TV did not work. We talked to the front desk and they came to try and solve the problem and failed. They offered to move us or comp the parking. Then wife found dirty hairy wash clothes in the bathroom. They said they would bring new ones and failed. My wife had to go get new ones on her own. They stated they forgot about us. Just very unhappy with this stay all together. Especially for the price we paid! Never again!

Everything about The Adler was better than expected except for the service and parking. The room was modern, comfortable, and fairly large for being in a city. The location is in walking distance from downtown Hollywood as long as you don't mind walking a few blocks. And, the general ambiance of the hotel was fun, particularly for a stay in SoCal. My only complaints are that the staff wouldn't print a pass for me and didn't have a computer or printer for guests to use. I also hate valet parking, but it wasn't bad.

Overall, it was a great stay for me and my family. The rooms were nicely designed. The TV played all the right channels. It was slightly disturbing to have a large picture of Tom Cruise staring at us. My kids swam in the cold pool and one of them liked it. It wasn't noisy, but I could understand some concerns about that. If there were more people or louder parties, or if it was New Year's Eve, then yeah it could be pretty loud I bet. But it was mostly quiet, respectful, and hip families like ours. The Diner was really cool! Great orange juice, chai, lemonade, and more! The surrounding area was a pleasant surprise, since some reviewers complained about the horrors of seeing litter on the ground, or poor people. It was fine. There are nice restaurants, ice cream, and even a cool comedy club within walking distance. There's also a church of Scientology that you can look at and wonder about. I heard rumors that the owner is sarcastic, but we were lucky enough to avoid the cutting wit being directed at us, our children, or our dog-- we didn't bring our dog. Or did we????????? To all those calling this place the Badler, you are completely insane. I'll see you in hell! In conclusion the beds were quite comfy :)

We had a great time staying in this hotel coz it was accessible to all kind of transportation. The staff are nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable bed as well.

The staff were great. The general appearance of the hotel was nice if a bit older. The bathroom door was a sliding barn door that kept falling off the track and it felt dangerous. Also we were two couples and this left for less privacy when using the bathroom. Great location for Hollywood Palladium shows.

Everyone at the hotel was great! Very friendly and helpful. The bar/restaurant was always happening with a hip vibe. Full of people all ages. It drew in locals for dinner/drinks and was a cool spot for travelers to unwind .

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Loved the Hollywood details. Great location.
Just didn't understand charging a 'resort' fee and parking fee.
Pool was too cold to swim, should be heated.

Overall, our stay was quite nice. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room is super cute and the furnishings are fun. The only real complaint was we had a two bed room but the beds were full-size and not super comfy. No Jacuzzi. I would definitely stay here again. I would caution against eating at the diner, as it is quite overpriced, and Mediocre at best.

Location is Top and Hotel's Design is absolutely gorgeous! Room was Big, Clean & Modern. Bathroom was spacious. Parking Cost 40$ and there is an additional 10$ per night as a Room tax, charged separately.
The main problem was the noise from the room above us, you can literally hear everything.

My stay was excellent! I was surprised the pool wasn’t heated and there was also a $10 “hotel fee” that I had to pay when I checked in which was unexpected since I booked through hotels.com. When I asked what the fee was for, they just said it was a fee for the hotel.

It was just fine, planning another trip in Sept and probably staying there again.

I used to stay at this hotel in years past but when they changed owners and were under construction I stayed at the W. Now I tried coming back and the place has seemed to not have the same old vibe. The room was not so clean and there were old soap wrappers and some jewerly left behind in the shower on the shelf. The bed was comfortable but it was very loud at night in the area. There were no black out curtains as I was out late for business functions and hard to sleep in in a bright room. The attached cafe has gone downhill as well. Feels like the place had some paint slapped on an older hotel and not much else. The AC unit was partly broken so there was no way to control the temp, it was either to hot or to cold.

Cute boutique style hotel. FYI, there is a short set of stairs you will need to carry your bag up to get to the elevator. Might be an issue if your bag weighs a gazillion pounds like mine did. Hotel is close to one end of Hollywood Blvd., not the end we wanted to be by so definitely check your map. If you're doing the Vander crawl, it's a super quick walk to Schwartz & Sandy's!

The room was so humid. So bed sheet was damp

We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were spacious and clean. We loved the diner attached, it had great food and ambiance.

This is a pleasant, small historic hotel in a terrific location. Walking distance to all of Hollywood’s hot spots, and easy uber to key restaurants. Beds are very comfortable.

The staff were lovely and the restaurant is very good. The problem is that it is very loud. The location is great but it is on a very busy street right next to the freeway. The windows are old and don't seal and our room had a visible gap around the AC unit.
There is a bar/club in the hotel that seems fun, but we heard the music until 2am (when the bar closes on Friday and Saturday).
The sound level was like leaving the window open, which was a lot with music until 2am and traffic all night.
The location is good enough that I would stay again if I had earplugs, or was staying out late myself.
For the hotel, I would make clear in the listings that it is loud (like The Standard does), provide ear plugs, and take care of the little construction things that could make the sound better.
There are a few other touch ups. The paint was damaged on the bathroom door, there clean sheets still had a makeup stain, and the shower towels had been rolled up before they were fully dry so they were damp when we opened them.

We stayed at the Adler last year and had such a fun time that we made note to remember this hotel. Since we were making a trip to LA again, we knew we wanted to stay there again. This hotel is all Hollywood with pictures and memorbial about stars in all the halls and there are themed rooms. We also recommend the Clark Street restaurant that shares the building.

Nice, basic hotel in an excellent location. Just a couple of blocks from the walk of fame and many Hollywood attractions. Only problem was the bed which wasn’t great for someone with minor back problems

As a filmmaker and film historian staying at the Adler has been a dream ! From the amazing staff of Ahmed, Max and Abraham to walls of memorabilia this is a perfect Hollywood hotel . Yes it’s rustic and yes you pay for valet but the valet service is so fast and easy it’s amazing ! Gymn is small but fulfills your needs and diner attached is famous . Plus you zip onto Franklin are at hot spots in minutes .
