Visiting our daughter at university of Michigan Ann Arbor, about half away dont mind the drive. Nice hotel great food and drinks at the bar

There was some weird conference of people in crazy costumes and on drugs…. There was a rave in the lobby. I was there with children. It was scary and awful.

Booked a double queen bed room for me my wife and 3 year old son due to just getting in town from a long drive from Dallas, TX. What a horrible stay for us all! As a man who takes pride in making sure my family is comfortable sanitary and surrounded by the greatest environment etc, I figured this would fulfill my standards well it didn’t.
Went into the room was freezing colder than outside! my 3 year old began forming runny nose etc.. turned the heat up to its highest point which was 78, heat did not come out warm but cold air. Didn’t notice it until I realized it was getting colder by the minute! I know sometime it can take time so I gave it an HOUR while my family had to bundle up with their coats and hats on to see if itll get warmer it did not.
I went to the front desk and told the receptionist about the situation (Olivia) she seemed to have no remorse and decided to just offer me a free breakfast thanks but I don’t need a free breakfast I need my family to be warm. I asked could we get a different room due to the heat not working she said there’s a way they could edit the temperature from their side so I believed it and went up and tried to again only to have the maintenance man come to our door smelling like a whole pack of cigarettes enters my room and opens the furnace… takes out the filter and said the filter is a little dirty (clearly the filter was brand new)… I said sir it is almost 10pm I’ve been here since 8pm all I want is to get me and my family some sleep

The internet was very spotty so streaming on the TV did not work. Long walks to parking. Otherwise a great experience.

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel, 1st I was told by staff that I couldn’t extend my stay by 1 hour done to be booking with Expedia which was a inconvenience, than when I went down to the lobby it was over crowded with kids running around not being monitored, I ordered a drink in it was multiple Floaties of something else other than my drinks ingredients. I asked the waiter did she know what this was. She replied it’s probably from another drink that she had made as if it was ok to use unclean dishes. The following morning I went down for breakfast at the buffet which I paid for in my stay. After making my plate a host comes to me and says you are not on the list for the breakfast buffet. I told her it must be a mistake because I’m sure I confirmed thinks during my check in. She came twice saying I wasn’t on the list which was very embarrassing. I had to leave my plate on the counter and go to the front desk area where she in fact confirmed that I was indeed on the list. How embarrassing I will NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS HOTEL!

This hotel really exceeded expectations. The room was clean, great amenities offered. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Our room needed some additional items and the front desk staff were so helpful in a very timely manner. The hotel is near plenty of food and shopping, even though walkable. Will definitely stay here again.

It was okay. Elevators were broken and the service elevator was being used and there was a big event happening. So much.

Room was not very clean, and the prices for drinks and food are ridiculous.

Stayed at this hotel for a convention and it was awful. There were only two elevators and one had been down for months. Within an hour the other one went out and we were told to use the service elevator. The halls were hot and humid the entire time. We went to the hotels bar/restaurant for dinner and a drink, and quickly realized that was a mistake. Good luck getting any service there. Just getting a drink at the bar took about 15 minutes if not more. We are never staying at this hotel again, if you have to stay in the area avoid this one.

only one person working front desk line of 100 people waiting to check in and then rude customer service at check in. they also refused to give us the last room because a name on reservation was misspelled complete lack of service never recommend anyone to stay here

Our stay was fine and we appreciated the location. The lobby smelled amazing and was full of life. Our room was fine, however we had a couple of questions and could never get anyone to answer the phone at the front desk. Also, we had a real problem with hot water in our shower, again we called for help, but could not get an answer. We love Marriotts and the service, so this surprised us.
