I definitely would nook again

Nice place

Unfortunately the cleanliness of this property was awful. There was pee on the toilet seat and surrounding bowl in our room, which I cleaned so my son could use. There was hair on the pillows and inside the sheets of one of the beds and the carpet clearly had not been vacuumed. Had we not just got in from 30 hours of travel from Thailand I would have gone to further lengths to get a different room. Will NEVER stay at this location again.

The overall hotel was fine but the rooms were so HOT. There was so no way to control the temperature. We had to sleep with a window open and the window didn’t even open very far. When I called the front desk about how uncomfortable it was in the room they said this was a common complaint and there wasn’t anything they could do. We also had friends staying on the floor below and they also complained about the temperature. Needless to say no one slept well because of the room temperature. We will never stay here again.

This hotel sets a high standard and deserves a 5 star rating.

Have stayed here 2 times. Easy access by car to downtown and several restaurants close by.

Great spot

Loved our stay. Large room, great staff. Very accommodating to our hockey team. Loved the Irish Pub across the street.

A fine Hotel, very clean, good facilities. Service was subpar compared to other Hilton DoubleTrees I've been too. The bartenders were good though.

Very pleasant stay - helpful front desk

This is an extremely dated property. I am very surprised that the Hilton Group has allowed this to fall into such a condition. Carpeting, paint, bathrooms, amenities are in dire need of updating…… NOT up to standards by a long shot !

It would have been nice if we could have printed our boarding passes on site for our flight home. There was no business lounge or office where we could have done that like in many other hotels.

Hotel lobby and amenities are fine; but the room (bathroom in particular) is dated and in need of repair. Both grout and tiles are crumbling; crock in bow of the toilet; tub faucet was directionally challenged —it went everywhere. Air conditioner also whined more than a teenager who has their phone taken away.

It was close to shopping area, transportation, and easy to get too.

We had a lovely stay! When we checked in we were greeted by the lovely Khadarel who kindly upgraded our room without even requesting it! Check in was speedy and easy and the room was delightful. The location is fantastic- so much to walk to and convenient to downtown Minneapolis and St Paul. The room was clean and quiet and allowed for excellent sleep. Thank you DoubleTree!

Not even coffee offered in the morning. No microwave or refrigerator in room. Far from target field. Very expensive for what they offer. A Hilton should be better than this.

The Restaurant the Dover was excellent! Excellent Staff & chef! Cara was amazing!

It’s very nice and clean

Entire pool and hottub has apparently been down for a long period. Was not alerted of this until after checking in. We picked this hotel for the pool.

I have to say I was expecting a lot more from a big name hotel in a large and bustling city like Minneapolis!! Our room had a small refridge but it did NOT have a microwave! Also there was no complimentary breakfast served in the main lobby area. There was not even offee available except that bad coffee that you make in your room!! We were there for a family wedding and spent 4 nights there and I was very disappointed with the no breakfast or coffee thing!!

Nice having so many dining options across the street

If you’re planning on sharing a bed with your spouse .. don’t. The beds are tiny! That is my only complaint! Front staff was very polite and check in and out were very simple and quick! I was called at 9:45 PM.. 5.5 hours after checking in to “make sure our keys were working” which I thought was weird. The area around the hotel is great, a little dirty but as far as places to eat.. you have a lot of options!

Lovely hotel in a great location. Close to shopping and freeways but room was really quiet. Everything was very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. We took our cat on her first hotel stay and she loved the room. Great service and friendly staff.

For the price, the room did not meet our expectations. The bathroom was very 'tired' with piping exposed under the sink, a minimal slanted wall shelf that was much too small for 2 persons' toiletries, a door that warped, and the tiled shower floor was very slippery. The king bed was quited uncomfortable and uneven - definitely needs a mattress upgrade. And I don't know why hotels can't use a fitted bottom sheet so it doesn't come untucked from just sitting on the edge of the bed! Again, way too expensive for these conditions mentioned. The staffperson checking us in was very nice and helpful, but the manager on duty was not when we were asking about room selection and check in time. Again for the money, service should have been much better. We did not go to the restaurant so can't comment on that. We are Hilton members so were disappointed over all.

We were there 3 nights and did not get fresh towels or housekeeping services. On our last day I finally saw a notice in the bathroom with small lettering that said housekeeping will not come unless requested. We're used to every other night, but by request only was new to us. The room was comfortable and had plenty of space. The breakfast buffet was quite good. The staff were all friendly.

It was extremely disappointing that both the fitness center and pool were under maintenance. I wish I knew that prior to booking. However the restaurant staff was excellent and housekeeping.

I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was. The bed and bedding were great. It was super quiet. The toiletries were very nice. This will be my go to hotel in the Twin Cities going forward.
