Staff was amazing, the Beds were great, Super comfy! Extremely clean, Daily hot breakfast was a Full breakfast!!!! Could not have ask for more!!! This Hotel has made it where all of your needs are meant and Staff went over and above to make my staff GREAT!!!!

Stayed here for the First Four March Madness games. Perfect location. Super friendly staff. They went out of their way to accommodate us. I’d stay here again. Chris and the front desk is great

Everything was fine except that a sink bug came crawling out of the sink as I was brushing my teeth in the morning. The front desk person was extremely apologetic. The room and facilities were clean.

Love staying at the Holiday Inn Express Dayton - the front desk staff is always welcoming and helpful. We enjoy the morning breakfast as well and the location is perfect for us when we visit our son at University of Dayton!!

Very clean hotel but word of warning with breakfast, when they say it's over at 9:30, they mean 9:29. I had some eggs and sausage--which was good!--but went to go get some yogurt and a banana and they closed the doors in my face as I was walking toward the area, then ignored my knocking on the door. Otherwise the stay was fine.

What a delightful surprise..conveniently located near the UD Stadium and the highway. My large, clean room was most enjoyable after a rong trip on the road. Big bed soft sheets, ample space to work, nice hot breakfast with a variety of choices (poor coffee and creamers however), staff who checked me in was quite pleasant at a late hour.

Staff was not helpful at check in and unwilling to look up my rewards number. It was listed as 1.6 miles from the University of Dayton, but in reality it was not walkable and really a 7 minute drive.

The hotel had multiple baseball teams staying at the property for a tournament, which is understandable and a great experience for those families. Unfortunately, the staff did not police the children sprinting down the hallways of the floors, which continued until 11 PM. In the morning, when checking out, the staff barely looked up from their computer, simply saying "put your keys in the basket" and not inquiring about our stay. Overall felt the staff was indifferent to their guests.

Was clean, good staff, but room was a cheap renovation. No art on the walls, shower falling apart, caulk everywhere.

Big, beautiful, clean rooms. Looked newly renovated. Service was good, for limited staff. Night front desk did not have a runner to bring up extra towels needed for surgery washes.
Breakfast was decent, especially the cinnamon rolls.

I spent a week here on and off between being with my daughter at the nearby trauma center. Free breakfast was a plus. Staff helpful.

1st it’s adjacent to a high speed highway that could be heard from our room. 2nd our room had a constant drip in the shower with black mold. 3rd either someone smoked or died in the king suite they moved us to because it was unsuccessfully deodorized with an overpowering sickly sweet cleaning agent.

Property was great. Expedia customer service attempted a HUGE upsell on my wife when she called them! Bait and switch a $110 room for a $200 room! Shameful!
