The hotel was in a great location near shopping and restaurants. It was also near the interstate. The room were small but clean and comfortable. The only problem was that housekeeping came an hour before check out, knocking on the door to clean the room

I was very upset that i got the option to not cancel because on the site it states no pets allowed but when i arrived their was dog treats at the door. The room smelled like dog and i heard barking dogs in early morning hours. I was very disappointed.

I did not get to stay. My wife and I had troubles and she called and said that we may have to cancel because of our situation that we were in. I told her to not cancel the room and that we would be back in contact with them. We showed up at the hotel and were told the room had been cancelled. I told him we did not cancel the room but did talk to a lady earlier. He said she cancelled the room. I said that is not what we told her. He flipped the computer screen around at us knocking over the sign in a very agitated state. Then accused us of being hostile. Needless to say I will be contacting the head manager and letting them know the entire story. Worst hotel experience in my life. Oh and we had to find another place to stay at 12:30 in the morning.

The breakfast ladies were wonderful. The front desk people were also always helpful. The room was extremely clean. Room service skipped us 2x out of 4 nights, but we got our towels from the front desk and it was fine. We loved it.

The room and property is very dated and the beds are small (two full beds, not queens). The staff is very friendly and professional and the breakfast was good.

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the property was. We had not stayed there before. It was very clean, centrally located to where we needed to be.
My only complaint is with Expedia. We booked a king room and when we arrived we were given a double.

What I didn't like was the Ice machine on the 2nd floor was broke and the staff knew it. The guest had to go on the 3rd or 4th floor to get ice instead of the hotel getting ice machine fix.

Good Hotel to stay near north myrtle beach

Last minute travel for a family death on Labor day. We figured we would get the room between the ice machine and the elevator but we did not. We got an excellent room with a great check-in lady(forgot the name, the unsung heroes) and great breakfast with the breakfast attendant being one of the nicest friendliest ladies I have ever met. A real treasure for your facility.

The walls were thin you could hear the toilet, the condition of the bathroom was old. There was only cleansing soap provided. And there was no plant based milk at breakfast. The pool area was old, rusty and dirty. Yes we got the room for 4 people for 213 but from an appearance perspective, it was disappointing. It didn’t make me want to hang out there.

Our stay was ok. We had requested two rooms in May, side by side, when we arrive one room was ready, but the other one was not. When the second room was finally ready it was on another floor. Twice we could not get in one of the rooms and had go to the front desk for them to rescan the cards.

I liked that breakfast was included. I just wish that breakfast ended a little later. It ended at 10 am and it would have been nice for breakfast to be until 11 am at least. The two women that worked the breakfast station were very friendly, especially the older woman. Also, I didn't like that there wasn't a safe in the room to put my belongings.

Overall our stay was good. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Breakfast was good also. I appreciate the coffee and hot water available all day. There was a leak in 4th floor ceiling hallway from an unknown source that dripped on my husband unexpectedly while waiting for the elevator. Due to the ceiling damage and mold, it appeared to be long term but had not been repaired. I would stay here again.
