Very bad service and the property is bad too

Ideal place for tourist with lots of shopping options nearby

Hotel is very nice reasonably priced and lovely staff. Hygiene on arrival spoils things - pubic hair and hair in bathroom is a real downer. Towels very old and worn. Bedding excellent. Service with tv excellent- on the whole very good - and would stay again

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant at the hotel was very good. It would have been nice if they keep an iron box.

A nice stay which was as expected,but the room was quite small and there was a lot of repair noises,It appears that the the Gateway is going into vivanta .

This property need lot of renovation ,bathrooms ,bed rooms all these areas need more attention ,no iron is also an issue .All the areas if you look around need more attention .Location is beautiful getting around is easy .

I had to change the room I got because of the an odder in the room. The rooms are small for the price and it’s not clean to the standards of a 5 star hotel. Furniture are old and dusty.

The location is great. Good service. It is not worth the money.

Resort is facing Bay and Arabian Sea

My stay was good! I love the location, I liked the options at breakfast and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Great hospitality and customer service as well, everyone assisted with a smile.

False ceiling/ AC DUCTS leaking, linen have holes, rude check in staff in night.

Location is what this makes this property unique! However, post Covid-19, like many other properties, this too has jaded significantly compared to ~3 years ago..

In dining prices are extremely high and I have lodged a complaint with the GM. Post Covid don’t think the property has been maintained properly doesn’t give you the taj experience. Rooms need a complete renovation and it does not give value for the price paid.

the taj group is sailing downhill. The towels are a simple indicator. They are tired and old with no fluff are like those from a cheap swimming pool. I was giving the usual jibe about how I have been upgraded but having been to the hotel for many years room 102 - formally next to the old smoking room is not an upgrade by any means. but no point arguing. the restateurant was excellent and the service there was brilliant.There was a waiter called Gobin who was so helpful. The only reason i did not cancel my current booking this weekend was because of him. Hopefully they will provide me with newer towels not the ones from 1982. The tv and IT guys were excellent. The room service excellent. But the rooms are looking dated with tired repaint jobs everywhere. The shower was awful but hope a better room tomorrow will fix that. However the room was very clean which is very important. Actually this hotel is better than the taj malabar which i staid at earlier this week but it is more to do with the staff. In conclusion for the price which is very reasonable and the location and cleanliness all good. and would recommend. [The Malabar -no]

As a Hotels.com booking I got level 2 and twin beds. I requested higher level and a ki G or queen size bed but was refused. I'm certain I would have got it if I had made a direct booking. The room and the bed were of mediocre standard. The television had burnouts along the margins. The first night was noisy with neighbors singing and baby crying. The extension room that I got was not sound proof.

Excellent location. Comfortable stay though a bit expensive for the experience. Bar prices are absurdly high. A glass of red wine ( 150 ml)is Rs 1000 !

Great location, fantastic staff always there to help you. Special mention to Prince. Nithin and Chef Salin and his team at the restaurant. Made use of the business centre which was very convenient. Great food despite the low season due to COVID and how it’s hit the tourism industry. Would always recommend
