Asked for conjoined rooms call the day before arrival said they cannot do that asked for side by side rooms was told that wouldn’t be a problem I arrived to be told then they couldn’t do that after checking in then I was told the pool and hot tub was out of service my wife turned on one of the lamp it popped and started sparking the was told we could use the pool at there sister hotel drove there with are 6 kids for the water to be so cold you couldn’t even swim

We felt safe there and the employees were very nice. We didn't like that the heat was broke and it was really hot in the room even with the window open.

Friendly staff, and great suite!!!

The bathroom had mold on the tub and shower curtain. The odor in the room was overwhelming. The curtains on the window had many tears and cuts. Room was not stocked with coffee or cups. We only stayed the night because we were tired after driving 600 miles and no refund was offered. On the other hand, the staff was excellent! I cannot say enough about how accommodating the young man at the front desk was.

Simple hotel. Not up to the standards of a Marriott! Charge 10.00 for parking. Several other hotels very near there I will choose next time

The pool and hot tub were down main reason we picked the hotel. The room had no fridge or microwave. The matress cover was ripped. Stain on the mattress and dust cover. Very hard to regulate temperature since the unit controls seemed to not work propeely.

It’s the deposit that doesn’t fit for me. We’re all being held accountable for other people’s actions

There were three of us in the room only had towels enough for two the next day we went down to ask for more towels they didn’t have any following day We went down and asked for towels in the morning didn’t get any had to go down at night to pick up towels, housekeeping never came in to clean the garbage Set it out in the hall and they never picked it up

Holes in curtains. Peeling paint in bathroom. Water dripping from ceiling in bathroom. Briken coffee maker. Told that this hotel was mainly used for people who travel for wotk.

When i arrived i was told that the pool was out of order. No coffee in the room or even available unless you wanted a starbucks coffee for 4.69. The wall paper in the bathroom wall. The room had this musk aroma like it used to be smoked in room smell. Thanks, Woodrow Campbell

the stay was way below our hopes. no wifi, no fridge, no mircowave, no morning meal was a weekend get away that was very disappointing

The shower was unsafe for me. No shower decals. I was afraid to step in.

It had coffee maker in the room no filter or coffee and no cups

Front desk had issues with expedia reservations. Hot tub and pool were closed for heater issues. Hallways had trash on floor. Curtains in room were falling apart and stained. Had to go get owm toilet paper and towels. Nothing updated at all.

I was unable to stay there. Due to the fact that they only accept major credit cards. they would not accept my major credit card. And they would not accept cash. They don't accept any type of other forms of payment. the person at the desk was very rude and told me to get out of the facility would never return again. I ended up going to gateway hotel next door which is a beautiful hotel, and great service there.

Needs major updates.

I had already paid for the room and was charged again for the room upon arrival. The room had a lampshade that wasn’t even attached correctly, went to go and straighten it and found dust and particles on the lamp base as well. Elevator was dirty, lights didn’t even work for the button to go up. Then being charged a parking fee when there was ample parking space around seems a bit unnecessary. Was not impressed at all and pretty unhappy that my reservation (that I had previously paid for) didn’t come up as already paid. I understand a hold for incidentals but I was told this charge was for the room itself. Wont return or recommend.

We Checked in at 3:15. At the check in time we were informed that we had to pay another $10 to park a car in the hotel parking lot. Which was not in the greatest condition at all. We left the room at 3:45 to head to Ann Arbor for a football game. We got back to our room at 1:00 am in the morning and our luggage was gone. All of our cloths, medications were in the luggage. Called the front desk. They did not know what happened. 7:00am the next morning they found it locked up in their security cage. They believe the cleaning person removed it and put it in the locker. Didn’t even offer to comp the room for all the inconvenience.

I never actually stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott. Upon checking in I was told that they had not prepared enough rooms, and I would have to go to the Marriott residences down the road. That was fine. I drove there and checked in where I was told they charge $10 dollars for parking. I get to my room were there is a furnace room that can not be checked. It was unsettling as I was alone. There was no soap in the room, so I picked up in the room phone to call for some. The phone was not operating. I turned on the TV and attempted to use the remote only to find no battery cover and a missing AAA battery. It was at that point I washed my hands with shampoo, and I went to bed. I was asleep for one hour and was awoken my the sound of the DEADBOLT catching the door! I waited a few minutes and went to the front desk beause there was no way that I was going to be able to go back to sleep. I ended up starting to dive home at 2:30 in the morning. I have spoken to an incompetent manager who demonstrated 0% empathy and told me many guest have had issues operating the "new" doors. Do not stay at the Marriotts in this area under any circumstances.

Nice and comfortable but lack of privacy for one bedrooms suite

Poorly furnished room. Hidden costs. Driveway and parking lot in very bad condition. Printer was broken.

The hotel itself was not terrible, but the room was awful. In need of some serious updating. The lighting was dim, making the room look dingy. The furniture looked like it had been there for about 30 years, there were holes and scratches all over the walls, curtains had a yellowish tint to them, and there were stains on the carpet. There was also no mini fridge or microwave. These rooms are in need of a serious makeover.

One of my worst experience staying in hotels

So I booked through Hotels.com who stated that breakfast was included and it was not. My stay was suppose to be $137 with taxes and fees and I was charged $160 in hidden fees. Receptionist told me she would waive $10 parking heidden fee and she did not waive it. I was suppose to get $20 back and only received $12. We arrived late only use the room to sleep had to park at back due to no parking. There was a charge for everything. The room was tacky the decorator needs to be fired. Pictures crooked and beds crammed to one side of room. The bed itself was comfortable but the quality of this room was not equal to the room. I've stayed at generic hotels that were better than this room. I was so upset with room it was not worth me taking pics.
