This is my go to place whenever visiting my son who lives in Absecon. Much more comfortable stay than a large, busy hotel and with a fantastic breakfast included, it’s clearly our favorite option.

The people are very friendly and accommodating. Very clean, interesting decor. It is close to Smithville and Atlantic City.

Second time we stayed in room 14 and we were very satisfied. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Very few guests in February so we had a nice relaxing stay.

This place was amazing. It was very clean, cozy with a nice home like feel to it. They offer snacks, fruits, hot and cold drinks 24/7 in a full size kitchen and dining room. The breakfast was delicious. The ladies who handled the kitchen were the sweetest and kindest. They were very attentive and made our experience even better. I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to get away without children. It is an adult only hotel.
The contact phone number does have to be updated to (609) 412-4170. The one provided through hotels.com doesn’t even ring.

Great property for a couples stay. Rooms are lovely and breakfast is wonderful. Plan on staying in an enjoying the rooms. History of the property is fascinating. We will return

Great decor, environment, breakfast, and service. Only “complaint” or “gripe” would be the bed quality left me a big sore the next morning. I would definitely come back again maybe once per month with my girlfriend. A nice getaway spot for Jersey folks if you don’t want to travel super far.

Amazing. Weather was gorgeous. Room was huge with a fireplace and a beautiful front porch. Breakfast was delicious and the preparer was very social and had a charming Irish accent.

When traveling alone, a B & B is always my best option. I feel safe and comfortable. Pitney House had a wonderful breakfast, the staff was extremely pleasant and attentive. I ate outside both mornings which was lovely. Nearby attractions kept me busy during the day. Pitney house also offered snacks and drinks during the afternoon which I appreciated. I highly recommend staying here.

Loved this place! Very impressed by the quality and convenience of everything provided by the B&B. Suite#16 is beautiful with good amenities for a perfect getaway. Far better than staying at a casino hotel in AC.

Stayed here for one night and the room was clean and very nice. Bathroom was very small though. Felt like home. Breakfast the following day was absolutely amazing!!! The only drawback was the noise level in the morning. But overall, I had an amazing time and the staff was very accommodating. I will return in the future.

The property is beautiful. The staff was lovely, very friendly. Breakfast was delicious. They has snacks as well which was very nice after a 2 hour drive. My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves and will return.

This was a very beautiful historic house in a very beautiful town.
The grounds are lovely and it is a short ride to the Historic Town of Smithville.
I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a charming getaway!!

Me and my friends go to Atlantic City all of the time and we always stay here! The only downside is that it is a about a 15-20 minute uber ride away to get to the city, but it is worth it for the price, cleanliness, and cute free breakfast!

Unfortunately, I just stayed overnight - had to get up at 4AM to leave. I really liked the accommodations but wasn't able to get the full experience. It was really homey and centrally located

The only I wish I knew, was about room locations and not having a choice. My wife and I are both suffering from medical issues. Getting up and down 3flights of steps was difficult.
Would have preferred 1 at floor accommodations.
