Nice property, very close to all of the attractions in Apple Hill. It's quiet and clean.

Very nice place. A bit old, but clean and roomy. We stayed two nights. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

The one thing I appreciate the most was accommodating to a late check-in. Their office closes at 10 and I was running late driving a long distance. I called and said I would be arriving closer 11pm and they told me to just ring door bell when I got there. Check in was fast and I really appreciate the great customer service. Thank you.

Property was conveniently close to Apple Hill which is a plus. We had 3 people in double room with only 2 towels in the bathroom. We stayed two nights. We asked for an extra towel around 10:30 before checkout on the last day, because the last person wanted to shower. The manager on duty told us no. She said we were checking out soon and she couldn’t give us a towel. So our guest had to reuse a towel we already had used those last two days. Yuck! We were livid. I told her again that the room had only two towels for 3 people, her excuse was she asked me the first day of checking in if I needed anything and I said no. So, it’s my fault. Obviously, we didn’t need towels the first 2 hours of checking into the room? She continued to give us excuses, still stating it was all my fault for her lousy service. We paid $280 for 2 days to be treated like crap. If you stay, bring your own towels and extra clean blankets from home. Bathroom needed a good scrub, mold was evident in the shower shelf window.

Comfortable and quiet. On our way to the Rubicon Trail, and would highly recommend this place. One hour to trail head. Free ice.

Very friendly staff and a great place to stay overnight when on a long road trip. Rooms are huge and spacious. I really liked this place.

A quiet haven tucked away at an elevation of 3000 ft in the midst of nature. We loved the place. We had a good sleep over en route to South Lake Tahoe. Will do it again another day.

The motel is ok -- Our room set up was functional and it was in the right location for our needs for one night. What is terrible is that you cannot contact the front desk -- they use a service, ReservationDesk.com so you can't talk to anyone who actually works at the Motel. No phone number for their front desk was given and ReservationDesk app did not answer after I waited a long time. In the future, I will not make a reservation at any motel that doesn't answer its own phone or supply you with their own phone number.

I bit old and very basic but adequate. I would stay there again.

Decent place to stay.

It wasn’t to bad my kids found a dog bone underneath their bed the back deck had a broken bottom rail and there was a lot of dry grass off the deck. But all in all it wasn’t that bad. For the money I would stay there again.

Everything was clean inside the room which is the most important thing. Outside the building could use a little attention but considering the winter they just went through that’s not surprising. Owners are really nice and very accommodating

It is an older Hotel. But the room was clean and The Front Desk friendly. The screen on the sliding glass door in our room (104)was torn up but an easy fix.

I have stayed at WestHaven Inn every spring for many years. This place is always very clean and the rooms are VERY spacious with a small patio. The refrigerator is a nice size. The rooms are VERY quiet. The owners are nice and the price is reasonable.

Great little place to stay in Pollock Pines. We were here overnight for an early start to Sierra and it was less than an hour away. The owners were very accommodating as we checked in late and checked out early.

Overall a good value for the price on a busy holiday weekend, clean enough, but with deferred maintenance; you get what you pay for. Stayed two nights. I was pleasantly surprised by the high ceiling (we were on the top/2nd floor), it felt more roomy. Very loud but adequate heater. A couple of light bulbs out in hallway and bathroom. Dim room overall. One table lamp had a switch covered by electrical tape (but it worked). Wi-Fi didn’t work, but cell service was adequate so I didn’t bother mentioning to the manager. Hot water was very good. Bathroom tub, shower, toilet were all clean. Bed was not particularly thick or fluffy, but it was adequately firm and not saggy. Rather old microwave, but it worked. Linens were all clean. Towels were moderately fluffy. Two sinks in our room, both with large mirrors and lots of light bulbs. One sink had a piece missing/broken off (at the bottom, the shiny round receptacle around the drain that you would think is metal but apparently is not). The freeway was next to the property and quite loud even though we were at the opposite end, furthest away.

Everything was good.. but the bed are too bad .. too hard

Cozy little quiet place! The staff was kind enough to answer the doorbell at 2am to check us in and we had an incredibly restful and easy stay :) 10/10

The management was pleasant and helpful. Very clean and well kept room.

I’m very happy with my stay at this location because the room was very clean. The lady at the front desk was very polite, and the hotel was very quiet and peaceful.
