Good stay and great value. Nothing fancy but very clean. Office/coffee house staff super friendly and accommodating. Way to go Ally! Our shower door didn’t stay all the way shut and water got in the floor. The late night staff brought more towels immediately. The breakfast sandwiches in the morning were tasty and good coffee.

The Olentangy gave me exactly what I needed. A safe place to flop while I was in town to see Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band and Monday Night RAW. If I have a reason to go back to Columbus, I will check the availability at the Olentangy before any other hotel.

For the price this place is great. Very clean room. Free coffe and breakfast sandwich in the morning. Great location to OSU, Hospital and Shopping. Will definitely be staying here again.

The room was clean, but we did have a roach in our bathroom.

This room was a nice little find! Much cheaper than the larger hotel chains around, but clean modernized LVP flooring and decor. Beds were firm and comfortable. Pillows could be better.

The only complaint I had was my hot water wasn’t working for my shower but other than that my stay was great !

A wonderful little hotel. However, probably for those who are sound sleepers since there's active train tracks less than 100 ft from the property.

Comfortable room, clean, good location, free coffee and breakfast sandwich was good. The only problem was rowdy guests in the middle of the night kept us awake.

Room 102 is right by the office on the first floor. The room was clean with a very nice appearance. However the ice machine is on the other side of the wall and made a siren sound when it would run (which was frequently). You could hear it over the TV and when I said something to the staff who runs it after 8 pm I was told " yeah that's the ice machine". It woke my husband up around 3 am and he went and said something to the staff and again was dismissed. At checkout the staff said that management was not there so they couldn't really do anything for us. We only got around 4 hours of sleep because of the loud siren screeching from the I've machine. Pretty disappointed.

Such a cute little place to stay. Staff was Wonderful! I know its not the hotels fault but I had to move my car. Some college kids were drunk and throwing stuff off the balcony above our room landing by my car.

A hidden gem with reasonable rates. Room was super clean. I loved the sliding glass shower doors instead of a fabric shower curtain. A 30 minute Walk to the shottenheim center. Walking distance to shopping, wendys, and bob evans. Included with stay is a small coffee and a breakfast sandwich- which was enough for our journey home.

Nice place. Clean and relatively quiet. I say relatively, because there is a train that came through (tracks are about 150 feet from back of building) around 3AM. Probably not an issue if I had realized the tracks were there in the first place.

The experience was overall okay. My room was spacious, but the deadbolt was broken and the liquid body wash in the shower was empty. The service was average. Free small coffee and breakfast sandwich from the coffee shop was nice. Easily accessible to major roads.

Clean, great location, great price. Free coffee in the morning. Just a note - the check in system they use meant you had no way to check in early even if there were rooms available.

Bed was not comfortable. No place to sit in the room other than the bed. The shower was nicely setup with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash locked on the wall to use. Kind of weird because I have never seen that setup in a hotel before. We were able to check in early which was a plus. The motel bills itself as “retro/vintage” but I didn’t see anything retro except a piece of paper that talked about life in 1985 (I’m older than that so I guess I’m older than vintage). Probably nice for the college crowd but not so much for older couples.

This hotel was great value. The room was smaller but really clean and updated. Fridge was new and clean. Location is excellent for dining shopping and university. Check in was not very friendly and we did not have cleaning service for our 3 days but we would stay again.

Clean, small, convenient

Convenient location to anywhere in Columbus. A train runs directly behind the motel, so loud a couple times during the night.

Everything was really great and the room was clean! Very spacious for a handicapped room! The only problem I had was the box spring or railing under the mattress was bowed in so when I went to sleep the middle would sink in and made it uncomfortable to sleep! This was room # 104! This should fixed asap for other people that stay here! That is why I only gave three stars for the comfort! The free coffee and breakfast sandwich was really good at Crimson Coffee Cafe! Staff was nice also

Our stay was very comfortable and quiet. The room was immaculate, though small, but that wasn't important on this trip. We liked the retro feel of staying in a traditional 2-story motor inn (no elevator) that was also close to downtown and the university area. You check in at the cafe, which provides a coffee and breakfast sandwich for guests, in addition to coffee in the room. Would definitely recommend! no elevator

Very nice place. Free breakfast coffee and sandwich. Clean newly-renovated room. Found an electric plug needing to be replaced so had to move the Keurig to a different location but overall quite pleased with our stay and would stay here again.

Nothing fancy but clean and quiet most of the time. While we were there for 1 day we did have hear a train at least 3 times. Coffee shop is part of the inn so in the morning you get a free coffee and breakfast sandwich which was nice. It was convenient for what we needed.

Property was geat! As goodnas all the positive reviews said. Very clean, updated, and well appointed. Bedding and pillows super comfortable and great towels. Close to everything. Will definitely stay again and recommend.

We had a very nice stay. We were in town for a concert and it was 1.7 miles to the event. We were happy with location and room. Good coffee shop downstairs too.

The room was newly updated and very clean. It had a frig, microwave, coffee pot and clothes steamer in the room. Check in and out was easy. Close to the OSU hospital that we needed to be at daily. Only inconvenience was the water pressure in the shower wasn’t as good as we would have expected.

Beware of the noisy train track behind the hotel! Other than that, everything was great.
