Very dirty! Had a hole in our bedding. We had ants in our bathtub. We also had a jetted tub in addition to the tub/shower. We used that and when the water drained afterwards there was a huge black ring around the tub so obviously the jets were filthy. We went out the second morning to do some shopping etc and when we came back they had deactivated our keys despite having paid for that night as well. Had to go to the front desk to have them reactivated, but what a terrible feeling to have all of your things in a room and then be locked out all of a sudden.

My room was clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable. It was all very pleasant. I just wish the fireplace in the lobby was working. I would have sat out there to read if it had been. The breakfast was adequate, the receptionist very pleasant.

The room I reserved over Expedia was not the room we
got. I’m not sure what happened with the reservation. It worked out but was a little disappointed.

When we moved the ottoman, there was 2 pairs of dirty socks and potato chip crumbs on the floor underneath the ottoman. The jacuzzi tub controls kept falling off, and the spout was really flimsy and was basically a copper pipe.

The room was mostly clean. They have horrible blankets on the beds. Just two thin scratchy ones, and a sheet. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.

This hotel was a really great value for the money. Relatively new, clean, good continental breakfast, totally quiet, comfortable, and even a nice workout room with a great treadmill and elliptical.

It’s so nice to go to a motel that is so respectful and very understanding about situations and the rum is just gorgeous. We’re loving it even though it is this is our hometown in this area Boyceville is but unfortunately we gotta head back to our other home, which is on the other side of Wisconsin, so but I know one thing each time we come over come back over here not to any other motel.

The staff is great but the property itself is in desperate need of some updating. The air conditioner was unbelievably loud and smelled like mildew. Coffee maker broke down and they could not get a repair person out because it was the weekend. There are lots of coffee places nearby where they could have picked up some Joe boxes but didn’t. Heck, just go to Walmart down the street and pick up a Mr Coffee. Have stayed at a number of AmericInns before and this was the first time I was disappointed.

Desk staff wasn’t there when we checked in. Had to wait 5 minutes before person showed up. Room was open before when we got to it, switched to another room. One of the beds had a burn hole in the sheets. Smoke alarm battery died at midnight on our second night, young man at desk offered to replace it, but I elected to do it myself. When we spoke with desk person at check out, was told we would get a call from hotel manager when they got in that afternoon, I had to call at 6:30 pm.

The only issue we had is our room didn’t smell very good, I believe due to humidity and carpet not being fully dry. Other than that, it was a great place to start. Friendly staff and good breakfast!

I met my boyfriend there for the night. It was nice and quiet. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly. We’ll stay there again!

We stayed in a very spacious (king-bed) room. Overall the room was clean but smelled musty/smokey even though it was a smoke-free room. We turned up the air conditioner and it helped, but the carpet was very heavy in the dirt. I noticed heavily soiled carpets because of my allergies, but still, it needs to be cleaned. Dark colors don't hide the odor or the fact that it's not clean. The clerk to my cc card and looked at the back. Shame on me for handing it to him, but seriously!? Honesty would have handed it back and told me to run it in the machine. I forget this because I'm not that young! :) I did tell him he just looked at my number and he didn't need to remember it.

Decent hotel for the price. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast! Was conveniently located near the highway so made travel easy. Lots of food and shopping options near by.

Mini fridge was obnoxiously loud. Had to unplug 1/2 way thru the night.
Property needs some maintenance.
Overall, OK for a 1 night stay.

Nice clean hotel with wonderful staff, a very pleasant young man checked us in and was very informative.
Pool was a bit chilly but once you acclimate, it was great. Hot tub had some wild jets but very relaxing.

When we booked the room on the website it said there was a pull out couch and a king size bed. Our daughter was with us and was no pull out couch. There was a room that was the same price and supposedly the same that had an extra room and a pull out couch but we did not get that one

Loved that it was tucked back and quiet. Loved the tree outside our window! Room temp controls worked well. Beds were comfortable enough. However, water temp was set WAY too hot (nearly scalded myself, yikes) and fridge temp WAY too high (our leftover soup was actually frozen in the morning!).

The rooms were fine for a lower cost hotel. The staff hardly ever spoke and when they did, it was all business. They didn’t appear too engaged and hotel showed it.

From the pictures it looks like a new hotel but the structure is old. The hotel staff is very friendly, breakfast was decent but the hotel lacks clearness. You can see the carpet has not been truly vacuum. I would give a 3 for clearness and a 5 for staff friendliness and location.
