Our room was outdated, but the hotel was doing some renovations, so im sure it was on the list to get completed. However, furniture in the room was broken (missing pieces on drawers, doors crooked in kitchen, etc) the couch was very uncomfortable, and small tv.
In the evening after finishing our dinner all of the sudden a gush of water came pouring out of the light in our kitchen. And then it was a steady stream after that. We put buckets and towels under it, and tried calling the front desk for 15 minutes with no response. We ended up packing up our things and going down to the front desk and asking for another room.
The front desk staff was apologetic and gave us a new room but no offer of a reduced rate or anything for the inconvenience. The whole stay was just less than relaxing and pretty disappointing.

This property is undergoing a renovation. It was fine for our girls weekend. But it was soooooo dated. The kitchen was unusable. But it’s under construction so hopefully they’ll make it more modern

They are starting renovations. Lobby has been done. Rooms have not. Some struggle with cleanliness but when mentioned to front desk they corrected issue. Nice location.

The only issue was that in order to get to the bathroom you have to close the bedroom door in order to open the bathroom that was annoying as it made you feel disconnected from people in bedroom

Front desk was great, but when using the restroom, one employee, after using the toilet walked out without washing her hands. Walking through the property there was trash on the floor and in the elevator. The carpets are worn and filthy. The room appeared clean. The bed had the most uncomfortable mattress ever. Some of the electrical outlets didn’t work and the microwave was sticky.

I have stayed at this hotel four times. The other three times I would give all five stars. This time I give two stars. The staff was very friendly and they were excellent. The room that I stayed in was disgusting. There were spider webs in every inch of the bedroom where the ceiling meets the wall. There were ants coming out of the kitchen sink. There was a chicken bone sitting on the floor that I had to clean up from the previous person who stayed. When I get to my hotels I always check the beds to make sure there are no bed bugs. There were no bed bugs but what I found was the mattress was soiled with somebody's blood on both sides of the mattress it looked like somebody had been murdered. I ended up going to Walmart and buying an entire comforter set just to cover everything that they provided for me and then I left it all there because it was way too disgusting to bring home. It certainly seems that the hotel is starting to go downhill from my previous visits and I may never stay here again.

We were in a handicapped room which was the farthest room from the elevator. My husband was worn out going back and forth from elevator. Really bad positioning for a handicapped room. The wallpaper was falling down and the vinyl floor was peeling up in front of bathoom door. The towel bar fell off the wall in the bathroom. There were no cups in the bathroom. I could not find any silverware until the last morning. But the room was clean but the bedding smelled musty.

I forget her name, but she was working the front desk and was the nicest, sweetest person.
However, something got messed up with our checkin, so that when we were given keys, they were to someone else's room. The bed was unmade, socks on the ground, trash and food everywhere.
Unfortunately, there were no luggage carts, so since that room was on the 3rd floor, we had to carry our luggage up, and then downstairs (someone had blocked the elevator) and had to get a new room. We were only going there to change before going to a wedding that we were then running a bit late for, because of the mixup with the rooms.
The second room was nice and comfortable. The bed was fine. The tub was sort of hilariously short/ small for a hilton property, but overall the staff was very nice and accomodating.
Checkin was the only thing that was weird and inconvenient.

We booked a 2 queen with a pull out and when we got there they told us they were full and were putting us in two different rooms. I have young children so this wasn’t ideal. Every surface in the room was dirty. All the cushions had stains. Blood stains on mattresses. The floor had tape holding it together. The pool heater was broken and ice cold. They shut the lights off at breakfast while people were still in the area, which wasn’t staffed well and barely any thing was refilled. They started switching over our room before we even checked out. We will never stay here again. However, Sheila at the front counter deserves a raise. She was amazing and was the best part of this hotel.

We stayed as a stopover on our way to a holiday home in Michigan. Would recommend for families, the suite size was great and all felt very clean and well looked after. We had the pool to ourselves for a lot of the evening and arrived on time for the Wednesday social!

The overall cleanliness of the room and hotel in general was not great. It was rundown with holes in the light shades, hardened dirt/ residue on the walls etc.
They had no pool towels and gave us hand towels to use instead.
The room size and layout was great for our family and the location was convenient

I would like to thank the staff member and front desk host RJ for making our stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton a very wonderful stay. Her professionalism, courtesy, patience and integrity displayed during our stay was tremendous. Just one of the reasons we will be returning to Homewood Suites and other brands by Hilton. RJ’s attention to detail, kindness and professionalism is FIVE STARS!!! From the moment we entered the lovely facility we were greeted with her courtesy and wonderful customer service skills. We watched her provide the same exceptional service to customer after customer with poise. She always acknowledged new customers waiting and let them know she will be right with them once she finished with the previous guest. She did this all while checking customers in on the phone as well. I was amazed at her ability to multitask and get every detail correct. She even made sure to greet every guest when she saw a guest getting coffee or food items. It was refreshing to see, especially at a time when so many customers feel slighted by some customer services offered at many corporations. She made us feel very warm and welcomed as well as ready to return in the future. She informed us about every detail of the hotel during the check-in of our stay, leaving us without questions.
Now about the hotel, the facility was very nice and clean except for a dirty tub and toilet which RJ rectified, addressed very quickly and professionally by providing a wonderful solution

The property was conveniently located for us. Check in was good . Room was outdated and they gave us a handicapped room . The staff at the buffet was so darn rude, we asked for oatmeal and the older lady got pushy and mean. Never had cleaning for six days there had to always go down for towels. We will never stay again

The room smelled like smoke after my husband checked us in he asked R.j to not put us in a room by the exit. She did and when we asked her about the room being smokey she said ok ill tell someone. Very rude and didnt care about the fact that we had 2 young children. she yelled at them for running. Kinda hard to tell a 3 year old who was excited to tip toe. Very upset with the 10 minutes we were there and we left immediately only to find out we had to call multiple numbers through travelocity. The only experience was garbage.

Facilities were nice, clean, and complete. I especially liked the ceiling fan in my bedroom. Something you do not see elsewhere.

The hotel seems to have been taken over by Hilton not long ago. Wallpaper everywhere, peeling. Furniture in rooms scratches. Place just seemed tired. Clean rooms and nice towels. Little kitchen and table. Bed was old, with two people in it, the center of the mattress would sink in.

When we arrived, there was a guest that was being obnoxious and quite stupid. Not because of anything the accommodation had done, just because she was a sandwich short of a picnic. The young lady at the check in remained calm, professional and polite. I don't know how she managed it. Kudos to her and the hotel.
