Great place to rest. A lot of restaurants & stores near by. Very quiet & safe.

I liked that I had a room that was not connected to others but it was not comfortable. Small quarters, little furniture, blinds didn't block the lights on all night. The noise was ok if you turned on the loud air conditioner and portable fan/heater. Internet didn't work at all.

The room was clean and quiet. The heater was difficult to reach as the bed was against the wall under it and i had to climb on the bed to adjust the temperature.

I reserved a room some of my employees to stay while in town for business and after showing up at the property they refused to stay there due to the lack of cleanliness and the people in and around the property. Although I had not checked in yet the property first agreed to refund my money less one night of three and then at the last minute refused to any refund.

Driven past it a million times and finally stayed here. Clean, renovated rooms, helpful friendly staff, great value!!!

AWFUL! Dirty, dingy, bugs! No baths (though picture shows one) Read the fine print! WORST hotel I’ve seen north of the boarder. Nutbuogradrd since 1980, it appears. Small, dirty, bugs, asked for a refund (only shower, no tub - daughter w special needs required bath,) they said $40’more I could have the ONE room with a bath! Asked for refund after seeing bugs (NO OUTLETS NEXT TO BES FOR CHARGING ELECTRONICS,) so I moved the headboard and there were bugs! They refused. SHOCKING this hotel is listed on hotels.com - more shocking it’s rated this high (seems improbable!) PAY MORE SOMEONE ELSE. You will regret staying here!

It was close to Universal Studios and we had good restaurants around.

Nothing fancy and smells old but it's a place to sleep for a few hours. Didn't like that you have to check in at a different location after 10pm and then drive back to the room. Close to Universal Studios which was nice. I like a firm bed but the beds were hard.

El Patio Inn is a simple and quaint place. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. We truly enjoyed the convenience of the location and the subtle charm from the landscape and ambient lighting at night. The rooms were outdated and plain, but provided us with just the basic needs. Over all cleanliness was good and they are attentive to your needs if you ask. The staff was very kind, honest, and helpful. We misplaced a phone and they immediately notified us when they found it. We appreciate this place and would stay again. We recommend El Patio Inn if you are looking for an eccentric, but minimal styled place to rest your head.

Parking is first come so if you are arriving late, there may not be a parking spot. I was told to park on the street outside of the property! The only spots outside were in the parking meter areas! The air conditioner inside also smelled musty when it was on. Overall it served it's purpose for a quick place to sleep before heading to universal studios.

We enjoyed our stay - The hotel is old but the priece and location are great. bed and bathroom are all right - The a/c was an old model but it worked amazingly well. Good Amenities. Only bad thing was that bed sheets wasn't really clean I watched some hairs and doubt it was for washing.

Great value and very convenient location to Universal Studios. The parking is tight, but very easy to exit through the alley. The beds were soft and the stuffed animals the kids brought were always ruched in waiting for us to return.

This place COULD be a gem, but it is not. It’s cheaper for a reason, I suppose. Quite loud during the day (I think from the motor shop next door?) Homeless people camped right outside the rooms under the awning plants. No great!! Especially because there is NOT anyone in the office all hours.

The staff was very nice! I dropped an earring down the sink… they were so nice and helped get it out. This is our second time staying here when we come to Universal Studios.

It is easy to check in but it was not what I expected room picture was not what it show during I was booking on online Room was small and old condition, bed are very uncomfortable, shower old and furniture

Having to check in at another hotel to pay and get the key was a little bit of a pain... but overall it was a lovely stay!

The hotel was okay. The service wasn't good because we couldn't no one to get more towels and toilet paper.

The smell of cleaning solution was over -powering, almost sickening. I had to unplug the refrigerator because it was so loud and kept me from sleeping. Other than that, it was fine.
I had to check-in else where, which was inconvenient, but the clerk at the Nite Inn was very friendly.

Would not come back here again. Small and old. And did not like having to drive to another hotel to register and get our room keys.
