What a horrible business practice to not tell customers about parking fees of 10 dollars I called and asked why this charge was on my card. Her response was the nighttime person should have told me. Or it’s on their website. Horrible way to conduct business I will be disputing with my cc.

We were traveling to attend a funeral and this was the halfway point since we were traveling with a toddler. I had read on a previous review about the “surprising “ $10 per day parking fee. I checked and nowhere on hotels.com did it mention this. During check-in, there is a sign on the check-in desk that states “Reminder: There is a $10 parking fee per day for hotel guests”. A reminder would be had they stated this before on the hotel information NOT upon learning this on the customer review. For this fee it’s not like there’s extra security for your vehicle. The cameras are placed adequately. The $10 per day was charged separately AFTER the hotel fees. Nonetheless, the room was clean and comfortable and our stay was nice.

Overall the property was nice, room was nice and very clean, nice and helpful staff. The only downside to the place was that the trash cans out front were overflowing and the breakfast choices could use some changing. We were only there a night and arrived at night, leaving early morning, so didn’t get to explore much but enjoyed our restful stay

The hot tub was not available despite being advertised that it was. We booked a standard king room but were given a fully accessible room with a raised toilet and a roll in shower. The hotel advised they could not provide us with the room we had booked. We asked for the manager to contact us to discuss our dissatisfaction but no one got back to us. When you use a third party booking app, you become a second rate customer and may not get the room you booked. There is a regular parking lot in front and beside the hotel with no special fencing or security but we were charged an additional $10/day to park. There were no wash cloths in the room and the towels were greyish in colour and looked dirty.

Pretty clean other than the pill & cherry pit my dog almost ate. He found some socks under the bed as well. Front desk was horrible to deal with. Woman was overwhelmed and took it out on me. She stated Hotels.com did not send them the correct info then accused us of monitoring it. Was calling me after check in when we were trying to have dinner to further give us a hard time about what Hotels.com supposedly did not relay.

The thing that I liked most was that the staff were super friendly as well as how everything was in walking distance. We had a really good time there.

Didn’t appreciate having to pay $10 per day for parking. I can understand parking charges at the Westin St. Francis in downtown San Francisco, but for a Fairfield Inn in Roswell, N.M.? That's ridiculous. Room was fine/adequate but showing some use/age. Wallpaper is peeling in a couple of locations which indicates a lack of attention to detail and lack of maintenance. Breakfast was mediocre, at best, although my compliments on the large fluffy waffles. Those are a hit.

The breakfast was perfect, my kids loved it. The only thing that we didn't like was that once we went for breakfast, the lady was cleaning our room and we couldn't go back. We hadn't checked out yet. It was dissapointing.

The property was very nice, only complaint is I didn’t see that they charged for parking until I was registering. I missed it in the description of the property. Also our door didn’t lock properly but no one tried to break in.

We've stayed here a few years ago and it was great. We chose to stay again this year, the staff is fantastic, but the room smelled a bit moldy. The other thing is that $10/day for parking is a bit high.

Everything was very nice. I would have appreciated a chair in the room. As it was anytime we wanted to sit in the room it had to be on the beds.
Also…has Mariot begs the European practice of not supplying wash cloths? Had to use the hand towels for that purpose…not pleasing g! 😞

I stayed there previously and really liked it. This time, the pool and hot top were closed, even though they looked fine for use. They charged a $10 per night parking fee that I think should have been mentioned at check in, because it was not previously charged. The first morning, we woke up to a fire alarm and we had to quickly exit our room because someone had burnt a bagel. The area around us was quite noisy. There was a neighbor somewhere nearby who yelled until late into the night.

Great comfortable hotel. Very close to the attractions. And the woman who checked us in was friendly and gave us tips about what to see first.

Decent hotel, clean, tidy, and generally good renovation (soap holder had fallen off shower wall; old A/C that rattles), limited hot breakfast, good staff.
But two things stand out as issues:
1. The mandatory parking charge even though the hotel is located in a suburban area, even if you don’t park there. In reality, it is merely a $10 tax penalty on every room.
2. If your room is on the front side, expect loud traffic noise especially on weekends.
I won’t stay here again.
Their sister hotel, Townplace Suites. has the same penalty. Enjoy a more honest experience at the newer Holiday Inn Express or at the Hampton Inn.

Check in staff was very friendly. However i was VERY surprised to discover that I had to pay $10 to park in the hotel parking lot. There are NO other options for parking except other businesses around the hotel. Although the hotel was nice I probably wont stay there again.
