Great service from start to finish. Hotel smelled great. Very clean. Could walk to the beach.

We stayed during rhe off-season so there wasnt much going on in the area. But from what i was able to see, its a really nice area and well maintained hotel. Staff are super nice and the room was very comfortable. The only problem was noise; a room on another floor was having a party past quiet hours that was a little annoying, but not enough to notify hotel staff

This might be an excellent hotel in the summer but it is not staffed at night in the off season. I was kept up till 1 am by a very loud party. I went down to complain but office closed and no phone to office in room. When I left in the morning at 730 there was no one in the office and no breakfast.

I'm surprised they allowed us to stay here. We were the only guests and we discovered they were doing construction at the hotel. We were woken up at 7am with jackhammers and pounding. We left early and when we came out of the room there was concrete debris everywhere. We had to walk through the flying dust to leave.

Pleasant, professional, attentive staff. Cool, well-maintained retro Doo Op theme and decor. Inviting, clean, heated pool with attached hot tub. Is refreshing, delightful to patronize a business with obvious pride, high standards, cheerful staff from manager to housekeepers.

Very clean rooms. We stayed in a 1BR suite. The toilet handle had to be jiggled after each use or else the toilet would run. Also outside our room on the other side of the wall were plastic palms trees. They are too close to the side of the building and the leaves kept hitting up against the side of the hotel so it made a noise like a tarp in the breeze all through the night. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the music in the lobby and halls.

Such a gorgeous hotel! Very clean and the staff was very friendly! We got the queen suite ocean view and the room was HUGE and gorgeous and clean! Beds were so comfortable I didn’t want to leave it! Def will consider going again next year if they allow dogs!

Very cute mid century property with comfortable beds, outdoor shower, great pool and jacuzzi! Staff was friendly and helpful with dinner recommendations. Right next door to mini golf, ice cream and the Wildwoods beach ball sign! But far enough away from the boardwalk so it was quiet at night.

The hotel was just off the boardwalk, so it was very convenient to the beach, shopping and dining. The rooms were very clean and loved the vintage decor. The tile in the bathroom is a little older, but adds to the vintage feel. Pool is heated which is a nice bonus when the ocean water is still cold. Free continental breakfast was a nice unexpected surprise.

enjoy my stay, great location, clean, cool and stylish. staff are very friendly and allow us late check-out. The outdoor swimming pool is a little bit small, but very nice and good enough to swim even if weather is cold.

I thought the property was super cute and the location was great. I was easily able to check in late even though it's off season. The building was clean and the staff was friendly. The room was pleasantly spacious, loved the kitchen, and good food places nearby.
I didn't give a 5 because it was too bright in the bedroom - they need black-out blinds. I didn't sleep well. And the only other small thing, although understandable off-season, was that the mini golf wasn't open while we were there (but looked so tempting!). But overall, nice experience.

The one receptionist that was there was nothing short of amazing. Her service was fenomenal I will definitely be returning. The room was great spacious and comfortable. The staff made sure that I was comfortable. 25 out of 10 stars.

Our family enjoyed our stay this past weekend at the Starlux. With it being off season, the property wasn't set up completely like the palm trees and pool. I booked primarely for the retro vibe and the unique qualities of the hotel. Our room was cute, needed some love as far as upgrades go. When sitting on the couch to watch TV you could see crumbs/dirt under the TV stand. The bathtub spout had a consistent drip and the grout in the bathroom was grungy. Overall, we enjoyed the hotel and would like to see it in its in season prime!

This vintage era hotel made great use of its history. It even had a lava lamp in the room! Loads of comfortable pillows were a surprise.

Property was fine. It was off season in a beach resort so it was difficult to find places to eat that were open. We had to sign in through a lock box but that worked out okay. The price was good so these little things were not so bad.

Very cute 70's decor and a spectacular location just a block away from the beach. The staff were all really pleasant and helpful. The room was clean. The bathroom fan did not work and the toilet in my room was a little cramped behind a wall (though this wasn't a handicap-accessible room so no big surprises). But overall it was a perfectly fine place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a nice, quiet, comfortable place to lodge in the off-season.

The gentlemen that attended me made it beyond easy check in he explained everything and took care of all my needs beyond thankful it was my first time ever renting a hotel and he made it so easy. Thank you for your hospitality rooms were very clean and comfy. Over all very pleasant calm place to stay!

We stayed overnight in Wildwood to visit Ghoul Spring Village and Cape May for the spooky season. We were pleasantly surprised to be right in the middle of Wildwood direction across from the beach and Wildwood sign! Our third floor suite was super roomy with retro cute details! Our balcony had a beautiful view of the sea! Everything was super clean and fresh, with easy access to the elevator. This would be the perfect place to stay in the Summer to hit the beach! We also enjoyed the light breakfast choices in the morning.
