No complaints. Pool and hot tub were clean, not super chlorinated, and the jets were just right in the hot tub. Would stay again if/when I’m back in the area.
Beds were comfortable and the room was nicely decorated. Enjoyed the cabin atmosphere of the whole hotel.

Room wasn't bad, clean enough. Management very customer friendly. First night, dog started crying/barking in room next to ours about 9:00 pm, carried on for hours. I tried calling the office a couple times and the line was busy. I finally fell asleep and woke up at 6 am to the dog carrying on again. At 7:00 I went to the front desk who tried again to contact the person in the room. They were able to rectify the issue and our second night stay was peaceful. No complaints ****

It was amazing, friendly and helpful staff will definitely stay again. Great hot tub and pool area . Great breakfast also all for a great price and very peaceful.

Stony Creek Inn is always a reliable, clean, welcoming place to stay in Galena, Illinois.
I've stayed there many times and never been disappointed in the rooms or the service.
I especially appreciate the hotel's acceptance of pet travelers and their easy going attitude toward our furry friends.

The was a wonderful place. We want to return to Galena and we have told others to stay at this place. Dog friendly, great place, good breakfast, and very friendly staff. We will come back.

This hotel is great. The staff speak English and are very helpful! Our AC went out in the middle of the night and the indoor pool was a little chilly, so I gave comfort a 4 star, but even with that we had a great time. Very family friendly and overall good time! I don’t give many five star reviews, but this one, EVEN WITH OUR MISFORTUNES, was a five star stay.

The staff was professional & super nice and welcoming as soon as we got there for our anniversary trip. Once we got to our room it was 88 and the heat would not shut off and the air only blew hot. We got it shut off and let them know asap. They offered to swap us rooms asap but we stayed put as after opening window to cool it down , the room stayed very(beary 😜) comfortable.
Apologies again before check out. No need , everyone and everything was fantastic and will come back !

Beautiful hotel, more like cabin feel, so cozy. Loved everything about it and only a5 min drive to main part of galena. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Such a beautiful and nice place! Some places you see look so nice in pictures, but disappoint in real life. This place exceeded expectations! Staff was very accommodating, room was nice and clean. Love the adult hour for the pool. It was such a great trip and definitely will be coming back soon!

We do like staying here. Very cozy feeling. Seems to be a great spot between several things like Downtown Galena and conveniences like other stores. We like the hot tub, however, they do keep the pool on the cold side. Not very enjoyable. The breakfasts are really great and the breakfast room is cozy feeling with fire place. They only down side this time around is that our room smelled like wet dog.

Nice rustic, very well decorated place and not far from downtown.. The manager bartended on tues nite and was very friendly , helpful.. I would recommend as nice anenmities with a small gym, a pool and hot tub, small bar, and sitting places to enjoy whilte u wait..

Stayed in the fishing shack suite, have stayed at this hotel many times over the years!
All was well, until showering the next morning! NO HOT WATER!
The sink had hot water but not the shower!
I mentioned the issue at checkout!

Outside garbage stuffed to the top. Dog poop outside back entrance. Carpet is tired. Needs renovations bady.

Pretty nice place. Was clean. My only complaint was for how much I paid for this room it wasn’t cheap. The breakfast was horrible. They should be embarrassed serving that food to people who payed 300 a night to stay there

Booked an accessible room but we did not get one! There was no elevator and we had to climb the stairs with heavy dialysis equipment because of the screw up! Will never return!!!

The only bad thing about the bathrooms was that the tub and sink were very slow to drain. I'm 88 years old. It was slippery and dangerous for me getting in and out of the tub. Most of every thing else was good or excellent. So how do I know if any of this was corrected and taken of? Who contacts me? It's important to me before I decide to book there again.Thank you.
