Smelled odd, felt seedy and rundown. Front desk barely made eye contact.

1 elevator did not work the entire 3 day stay. Housekeeping only came 1 day. The complimentary water and tea in the lobby was poorly serviced either being empty or the hot water barely being warm. Just a general lack of service compared to other Hilton properties.

The room was perfect. The service was excellent. The whole process was smooth, professional and seamless. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. Really just an absolutely flawless experience.

We loved the location of this hotel. It was very easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and IU's campus. The hotel was clean and updated. The only complaint I have is that only 1 elevator was working, so it was a bit of a wait for the elevator. Hopefully they are working to fix it!

Definitely did not meet expectations for a Hilton. First of all there is no sign for where to check in or park, so if you are unfamiliar with the area, it is treacherous to figure out how to check in, especially if you arrive after dark. They disabled the constant fan mode on the A/C, which makes it hard for me to sleep. They also locked the A/C so that it can't be set lower than 66 dg, which wouldn't be terrible if it didn't shut off at 66 dg and then not come back on until it was 70 dg. That is too hot for me to sleep. The room was tiny and dated. I had to go down four floors to get ice. One elevator was out of service. Staff was indifferent, if not flippant, regarding the inconveniences.

One of two small elevators was broken. Waited a half an hour with heavy luggage while full elevators came and went. Finally had to carry luggage in several trips. We are older adults, so this was difficult. Exact same thing happened in the fall, at this same hotel, which makes me wonder if it was ever fixed. Completely inappropriate for the money we spent!

The room was spotless, the staff are very helpful and friendly and it's so easy to walk everywhere from this location, no car needed.

This is a very nice hotel with a pretty lobby. Staff very nice. My only complaint is having to pay $12 per night for parking on top of a fairly expensive hotel room. And the fact that the elevators were broken In the parking garage. So upon arriving had to walk down five flights of steps with my luggage.
The garage does offer a service where they will take you to your car which is very nice. I think they should be waving parking fees during this time in the garage is not working.

We needed a quick over night stay for a business trip. Very nice, clean and great service. The only negative was that you have to pay for parking. Front desk service was excellent and very helpful.

We were in town for an overnight stay to see a comedian at a comedy club and found out that everything is street parking only. This was the closest hotel so we were able to walk easily. The staff was very helpful with everything from where to park cheaply for the hotel, where to eat dinner before the show and how to walk to the club. I had a problem accessing the free Wi-Fi and they gave me the code for premium Wi-Fi, no problem. We booked with the option of breakfast included and we were given the option of a wonderful buffet or cooked to order options. And our bed was comfortable.

No hot water had to take a cold shower to start a long day. No effort was made to give me anything for my inconvenience. I had a 12.00 charge from the pantry they could have at least waved that! Instead I paid full price and did not receive what I paid for.

The rooms were very sparsely equipped (e.g. no hair dryer, no extra blanket, and no luggage holder). Also, the cross-walk beeping was loud even though we were on the 4th floor. One elevator was out of service. And the pool was not available. However, the fitness room was well equipped and the staff were excellent.

The best thing was convenience.
During my stay, only one elevator was available. With a sporting event going on in town and the hotel rooms being fully and my room being on the 6th floor-it was quite an inconvenience.
Also my reservation email said check-out was 12 but front desk told me it was 11 a.m. Not that it mattered much but was given conflicting responses..

Hotels.com customers BEWARE: we booked a room with two queen beds and the hotel changed our room to a single queen without telling us prior to our stay and without telling us at check in. When we arrived with four adults, we walked into a room with one queen bed. Upon calling the front desk I was told that the rooms with two queen beds were overbooked and since we booked through a third party (Hotels.com) we were bumped to a single queen. So we paid $600 per night on an IU game wknd for a single queen bed for four people. The front desk service at the hotel could not have cared less about the situation that they put us in. Apparently customers that don’t book through Hilton do not matter.

Hilton canceled my reservation without informing me! I drove into town at 10 pm with my tired 8 year old and when I tried to check in I was told corporate had canceled my reservation 2 days before.

I thought I had stayed there before because I go to the bluebird for concerts but it was my first time. Wet happy with the front deck/service at the restaurant and quality of food. My room was really nice on the corner with nice downtown views.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The heating/ac was loud. One elevator was out of order. we wanted to use the stairs but they were difficult to find. The check-in staff was unfriendly.

Unfortunately the elevator was being serviced most of our stay and we had a room on the top floor. While largely out of their control, it would have been nice to have been offered even a small compensation for our trouble (ie free parking, a free appetizer or drink in the restaurant).

Close to campus, right off the main square. A bit pricey, but worth it for the excellent location.
