Nice bed and breakfast feel Inn

This Inn dates back to the 1800’s, it’s a lovely, charming inn

Great location Well maintained historic property, beautiful grounds and facilities

The windows had extremely sheer curtains that you could see right in the whole room! The fireplace barely had a flame and the complimentary breakfast was terrible. The sidewalk in front of our room was covered in pine needles. Extremely disappointed and we were charged way too much for what we got. Feel we should get a discount. The shower was the only plus.

we randomly chose the colonial inn on hotels.com, and it was very happy with our choice. The location was beautiful and it’s a very clean and well-kept grounds not to mention the peanut butter cookie was amazing.

Our stay was amazing! The Colonial Inn was so quaint and charming. Every area was clean, orderly and beautiful. We would definitely stay there again and recommend this Inn to our friends. Even the breakfast was too notch and had a country feel throughout. Thank you for a fabulous couple of days get away☺️

I have stayed at Colonial Inn several times in the past. This trip I was very unhappy. 3 adults in a tiny room. We had no place to put our luggage. Took what we were going to wear out of the trunk of the car! The beds are too high. Im 70 yrs old. I couldn't climb into the bed. And carry everything up a flight of stairs. No elevator. I wasn't at all happy. There were no other rooms available. We had to make due. I dont think ill be staying there anymore. The rooms and bathroom were clean, tho.

Very quaint inn in a secluded spot of Harbor Springs. Nice location for a morning walk in Wequitonsing with beautiful Victorian homes on one side and the bay on the other. We will visit again when in the area.

I was surprised that the room was so musty. The tank for the dehumidifier was full and the humidity was at 65% when we checked in. Emptying the tank helped quite a bit. However, it seems like housekeeping should be checking on that to keep the room from smelling so bad. The tub was an older Jacuzzi and extremely difficult for my mom to get into to shower. Few outlets -- charged phone and watch on the floor. Why not get some lamps with USB charging capacity for the nightstands? The beds were a bit worn, too -- my mom's had a spring poking up in one spot but was able to find a comfortable side... would have been unfortunate if 2 people had to sleep in that bed. Positives -- main lodge is a gorgeous old building, service was friendly, and breakfast was high quality.

The most quaint family owned and operated inn near the shore. Absolutely Charming.

Historic, beautiful, quaint, perfect!

Truly loved Colonial Inn it was very cozy and romantic.

Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The beautiful historic hotel is conveniently situated allowing one to walk downtown to the shops and to the waterfront. If you stay, be sure to check the air conditioning unit in your room before going to bed. The one in our room was very loud and kept kicking on every couple of minutes which did not allow for a good nights rest. The breakfast was a slight notch above what you’d find at a Hampton Inn, nothing special. However, the porch was a lovely setting from which to dine.

The room was super clean and fairly large! I loved the nostalgia of the property and would definitely recommend!

This was a great spot to walk along the bay and into town. I enjoyed the dock to feel the breeze and watch boats as well as walking along to view the beautiful homes along the water. Wonderful room, grounds and breakfast!

We had a wonderful stay at the Colonial Inn! What a great property, walking distance along the water and into adorable Harbor Springs! The staff was very accommodating - we will definitely stay again if we’re in the Harbor Springs area.

Pretty setting; spacious room and bathroom; fireplace in room and private balcony. Beautiful walking area by the water. Hot breakfast. Overall nice stay.
