We went to town for a day at American Dream water park. This hotel is conveniently placed in the center of our activities. Upon arrival we was greeted by a very polite you lady at the front desk. We checked in with ease. The room was very clean. The bed was awesome. The pool is amazing. The breakfast was very good. This hotel has a full size refrigerator, 2 electric eyes for cooking and a microwave which is plus for us. We requested extra towels and washcloths, they were brought to the room in under 20 mins. I would definitely recommend this hotel. This was a great stay.

We have family trip to New York, walk 5 minutes to Bus station take 163&164 Bus to Time square about 25 minutes, family suites are clean and comfortable, but they will Charged $250 deposit on hold until check out, good stay!

This is our third stay at Residence Inn, East Rutherford. It’s very convenient to NYC, as well as being a wonderful hotel. The suites are roomy for family travel. They are also clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly, and the breakfast buffet is hot and filling. I highly recommend this hotel for family travel.

After staying in Atlantic City for 3 nights, my husband and I brought our 3 teenage grandchildren here for 1 night/2days during their Mid-Winter Recess. They loved the 2 Bedroom Suite w/ sofa bed so much that they wanted to stay another night. Unfortunately, it was too costly for us to extend. The staff were very courteous, the rooms were clean, and the room itself felt like a nice and cozy condo apartment. We just wish they had more usb outlets and better coverage for the sofa bed. The hotel is located in the industrial area of the city which takes away from the beauty of the hotel. But, other than that, it is awesome, and we hope to come again for a longer stay.

Very good hotel nearby NCY! Bus stop was just 200m away! I just love the location overall. It's quiet too. Kids friendly!

Hotel was great, clean and comfortable rooms. Good breakfast and pool/ whirlpool well maintained . We enjoyed our stay and we definitely will come back. Front desk was very polite at all times.

Dishes to use but no dish detergent, dishwasher to use with a pod for that but wasn't noticeable till last day(behind drain plug) maid knocked early while we were still sleeping, we asked her to come back & she never did. Bed was very uncomfortable and not incased in protector which is usually common in hotels anymore to help prevent bed bugs getting on the mattress.

The room was really nice. The only quirk I had was seeing someone's hair on the shampoo bottle in the shower and a piece of hair on the bathroom floor. But everywhere else was extremely clean including the kitchen. I really enjoyed my stay. The front desk employee was so nice. Sorry I can't remember his name. He worked Saturday afternoon. I highly recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed for 2 nights and the second night there was only boiling hot water. We couldn't take a shower until midnight. Its was late and it took a very long time for them to fix it. They would not accommodate me and my small children to a different room. Instead the front desk said they would compensate me in the morning when i checked out for at least one night , which they did NOT do. She also said that if i wanted to i could find a room in another hotel near by which was ridiculous because it was 11pm and i had my toddlers with me. Terrible customer service.I would never stay there again and i would advice any family to stay away from this place.

I couldn't get clean towels and wash cloth which made us late for our plans that we had for that day and the women i talk to was more concerned about the people in front of her then listening to me. The bath tub was rushed and the people had to come and clean it but they we're good with getting that done and really nice. Other then that it was a nice place

I tried to call and cancel my reservation and my money was denied to me although I never stayed there, I called and was under the impression that I could check in at 1am took a two $30 Ubers only to be turned away and the money kept this was un acceptable I suspected that I would endure maybe a fee for cancelation but to deny me my full amount of $176 was extremely disappointing , especially in a time of need, I will certainly be leaving a bad review shortly. Thanks for ruining an already bad night for me, you would think the Marriott wasn't that hard up for money , good riddance. Never again I mean never again!

Not the most comfortable bed. Parking was sparse. But not because they didn't have enough spaces. This hotel is fairly close to MetLife stadium so they block off numerous parking spots to prevent sports fans from parking on their lot for free and then walking over to the stadium. But this negatively impacts hotel guests. I wish they would just tow the cars off the lot. It's an inconvenience for hotel guest trying to find parking.
The breakfast was mediocre (frozen pancakes, frozen sausage links, nothing fresh)
My rating is solely based on location (close proximity to American Dream) and our unit had a full kitchen.

Hotel did not meet quality Marriott standards! Looks more like a Motel turned Marriott...had to reserve Pool through a app? The Spa Tub was warm and had to keep resetting...the room was ok ...had sone issues...bedroom door didn't close ..the shower nozzle was broken but the room overall has space. Will not book here again though ...
