The hotel is nice for couples with young children. Lots to do and activities all day. Wouldn’t recommend as an adults trip. The adults only area is an inferior space, has no shade in the pool or swim up bar. The room was ok - ok in terms of cleanliness and wear and tear. Staff were friendly but service slow throughout. VIP Gold Members: Generally, don’t choose this hotel for the VIP perks - the hotel staff was not trained to proactively offer any of them. No wine bottle offered, no spa services discounted until we asked, and late checkout offered was 1 hour later than the regular time (noon instead of 11). In addition, 24 hours before check-in I received an email from the hotel offering me 4-5 different room type upgrades (paid) but when I asked for one at check in, they were “99% full” and couldn’t accommodate a complementary upgrade. Bottom line: don’t choose it for the VIP perks. There are nicer hotels on the island - check them out instead. But for a family/kids vacation with little hype, this one is just fine.

Lush grounds, great views of the lagoon and very friendly staff.

This was the third time we've stayed her over the last 5-7 years. This time for 9 days. The hotel environs continue to improve. There were five main restaurant or eating options available during our stay as well as the breakfast buffet. We tried four of these, some more than once and all were very good: Italian Basilico : Really nice Italian restaurant that was temporarily;y set up along bech front while normal premises were being refurbished. Great ambiance and one of the best fish meals I've had for a while Lebanese: Ate here twice. Service and food were very good although second time we were disappointed that some items didn't match their menu description Thai Chantara: Good service, food and menu selection. Second time wasn't as good as the first but food was nice. Teppenyaki: This was really good. Good selection of food and good sized servings. Definitely worth the price. Good way to meet her people as well. Pools were very nice although on really hot days the water was very warm and didn't really cool you down. Lots o Ants in areas around pool that were both annoying and had painful bites.Pool service was OK but no food before midday was a pain. Biggest issue was that this hotel doesn't really have a casual breakfast option only the buffet although coffee is available in the reception bar from 6:00am Rooms and maid service were really good although our room had no views to speak of. Definitely would go back again.

Well at times staff comunication with info was lacking or confusing. In lunch dining by pool, birds on tables after people dine. Which was not for good eating environment.

Enjoyed our stay. Staff were very friendly and the grounds were lovely. Tried 3 of the restaurants and liked them all. Would stay again.
