Stay was adequate, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. Very nice area too bad we couldn’t have enjoyed the scenery, hotel is near the river that goes thru Fort Pierre and Pierre but the weather was not favorable.

This is a clean and reasonably priced place to stay just a few steps away from the Missouri River. Close enough to the highway for easy access but far enough away to keep traffic noise at bay. This is where I always choose to stay when visiting Pierre/Fort Pierre. Spend a few extra bucks on a river view room - it's absolutely breathtaking.

We found dirty underwear in our room behind the door upon checking in, and also had no working tv in living room. Were told it was a maintenance problem and they couldn't help us.

We were looking for a hotel with ample parking for our big trailer and we found it here! Gentleman at the desk was wonderful and offered discounts as they only had 1 room left! Room was great and clean! The lounge was super fun! Defiently stay here again!

A room on the east side of the hotel overlooking the river would’ve been nice, but I got to look out at the parking lot instead. ;-) I was only there for one night and I worked from my room and slept. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast had more offerings than expected too. Appears to be the best hotel in Pierre/Fort Pierre based on other hotel reviews. Will only stay at AmericInn if in town overnight again.

This hotel isn’t fancy, but it was nice and clean and the people were friendly. The room did smell a little weird and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable. I don’t think it lives up to the “Excellent” rating. The outdoor seating area on the river is lovely.

One disappointment. The walking path shown in the pictures is not what I expected. What you see in the pictures is almost the full extent of the path. It is very, very short.
The pool flooring is very nice. Not slippery and also foot friendly.

Beautiful river front view, Room was clean, service was great, I slept well. When I showered the drain wouldn't keep up or drain completely, then the bathroom sink wouldn't keep up either. So over all good experience just needs some maintenance.

It was a nice quiet sleep the River was a nice view. Nice pool n spa as it was a very hot day. Over very clean n quiet room was very comfortable.

Lots of construction in the area. It not the hotel’s fault. Basic hotel—not fancy but was clean and had what we needed during our road trip. Desk help was great.

We had an excellent stay! The reception staff was very welcoming from the moment we walked in the door. We were quickly checked in and told where various amenities were located. The room was great- comfortable and clean. We would stay here again!

The staff was friendly, the room was clean, loved the bottles of soap in the shower. The balcony was perfect. The breakfast was the typical hotel breakfast but good. The pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained.

Great place for a one-night stop-over in Pierre. We loved being so close to the river with a great view. The kids enjoyed the pool and we ate at Drifter’s right next to the hotel - delicious! Cookies at check in and a good variety of foods at breakfast. Very clean breakfast room. We loved this hotel!

The air conditioner had a knocking noise every time it shut down, preventing us from being able to sleep all night long.

This property was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Our stay was during a large baseball tournament. The kids were everywhere being loud, not picking up after themselves in community areas, spilling food and drink in the hallways, it drove me nuts. Parents were not keeping tabs. Its hard for staff to keep up with many kids creating messes and their parents not caring either. Our room was very clean minus the coffee staij on one of the lampshades. Beds were comfy and newer as well. I loved the river view!
