Very clean which is most important, friendly staff, and excellent location with easy access to Great Lakes not to mention having a Walmart across the street helps with quick grab items.

The morning desk clerk was rude and treated my husband and I unwelcome.
The room wasn’t as clean as a hotel room should be especially considering it is a Marriott franchise. We were staying here to see my son graduate from Navy Bootcamp and I am extremely glad we only stayed here one night to avoid traffic the morning of graduation. We spent the rest of our Chicago trip in downtown Chicago and at a much nicer hotel.

My family of 5 stayed 5 nights at the Springhill Marriott. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. My only minor complaint was that we did not have enough towels for the 5 of us, but we made do. Breakfast was fantastic with great staff keeping food well stocked all the way up to the 9 or 10 am closing time. I really appreciated that they didn’t start packing away breakfast early or let things run out. The indoor pool was nice and the kids loved getting pool time even when it was cold and snowy outside. The cleaning staff was very kind, and our room was cleaned every other day. We will definitely stay here again as we have family in the area.

Staff was friendly and professional. Room was clean and had all the standard amenities. There's a Walmart right across the street and a Chase Bank. Plenty of restaurants to eat at down the street.

Very rude front desk person at night. Told they only clean the rooms ever other day. Had ask for towls which should be sone every day.

Nice, clean hotel. Not a fan of the set up of the TV for watching in bed, but understand the placement due to the pull out couch. I did like that the shower and toilet were completely separate areas.

We stayed there for 4 days for our sins graduation from the navy. They have a shuttle that takes you there and picks you up . Staff was great anf friendly.

The hotel room was nice, but it was definitely not cleaned well. There was a long hair caked on the coffee table with something sticky. Sticky food swiped on the desk. Hairs all over the shower. It seems there was a towel under the sheets.

We stayed here for the Navy graduation. The location of the hotel was good, with a lot of stores and eateries nearby. The lobby and elevators were clean. There were some stains on the hallway carpets . I feel like the rooms could have been cleaner . The shower had a slow drain and the water was accumulating in the bottom of the tub during our showers . The iron in the room didn’t work but the staff gladly exchanged it . The staff at the desk was friendly . I feel since this was a Marriott hotel it could have been a little better.

I have chosen Marriott hotels for over a decade and never experience rooms that are not clean! The overall view of the hotels looks great but much deceiving!! Hotel needs to stay on cleanliness just pure nastiness.

First they double charged me and then we ended up with a room with no ac and at first was told there were no rooms or fans by the janitor. I will say Kenya was amazing and tried to make everything right. It just didn’t work out with our family with 2 rooms because it separated our family during our vacation.

This hotel was a stop on our way back home from a week long vacation. We truly felt like we had returned back into the comforts of civilization when we checked in. Such a refreshing experience. Everyone was so nice and accommodating and the room was top notch and comfortable!

We left immediately as the accommodations were not as advertised on the Expedia website. The hotel room was in poor condition- the sleeper sofa that was advertised was not usable. The mattress was heavily stained, the mattress was paper thin so the user would only feel the uncomfortable wires, the sheets were stained, and there were crumbs all over. The room beyond was extremely worn down.
Due to the issues with the room, we went to check out. We were offered their nicest room if we would stay. That room was very large but in a worse state. The shower floor was damaged and completely dirt brown (originally white), the couch was stained, in pulling the bedding back- I had to kill three bugs. I then inspected the bed spread more closely and there were several dead gnats in it. I don’t understand the rating this hotel received. I have truly never seen anything in such poor condition. We checked out and left immediately. This is not acceptable and I would like a full refund.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great distance frim Great america, eateries and shopping. The only downside was the pool was much smaller then we'd expected.
