The hotels is beautiful. The service was very good and the location was perfect for our stay. It is a very serene hotel.
The lobby has a touch of luxury and is beautifully scented.
There was a stain on the carpet in my room but that aside, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was gorgeous and the buffet breakfast was sensational!

Mistakes on checking in and checking out, something as simple as printing a receipt was incorrect.
Lucky I checked and went back to get the correct one printed, as now I have to call to ask for the balance of my deposit to be returned.

We have stayed at the Pan Pacific many times and love this hotel. Always our first choice when visiting Melbourne. Staff are always polite and friendly. However, over our last 2 stays one in January and this weekend we have noticed the attention to detail isn’t as good as could be and that the cleaning of rooms needs to be improved.
Also we always loved the availability of ice machine on each floor and on both our recent stays on different floors the machines weren’t working. Hoping these services will be sorted and we can continue to have an enjoyable stay at our favourite hotel.

Our stay at Pan Pacific was amazing. Lovely friendly staff who went out of their way to make our visit perfect, the hotel room was clean, comfortable and the perfect base for our family holiday and the food at the restaurant downstairs was next level!! Dinner was just 10/10 and my daughter enjoyed the kids menu plus the activity book and pencils she received. and the buffet breakfast had everything you could ever think of and my daughter says the scrambled eggs were the best she's ever had.

We booked the Family Queen Room (with bay view stated in the room description), but when we got to the room at around 3:15pm the window was overlooking the busy highway bridges and the roof of other buildings. We called Reservation, they said the bay view pic was for advertising purpose only; and didn’t explain about how the description was misleading. Eventually they agreed to swap us to the King Room with the bay view, told us to wait in the room and someone will bring the new room key cards to us; waiting for 20 mins, we ended up going down to the lobby ourselves with all the luggages and a baby at 3:50pm.
The table and chair were very dusty, we stayed for 3 nights; bathroom floor towel was never replaced, did not refill the tissue box, no teaspoon, floor was not vacuumed. Only thing housekeeping did was replacing the bath towels, bed sheets and emptied the bins.

Stayed here for 3 nights with Club access. Room is big, clean and nicely furnished. The Pan Pacific club is awesome with free flow drinks (alcohol included) and finger foods during 5-7 pm. Hotel is conveniently located just beside DFO with amazing shopping. Walk across the pedestrian bridge and you would go into the CBD area with free trams. Within walking distance to Crown Casino with lots of restaurants etc.

I was disappointed with the service provided. We arrived at 11am asked for the possibility of early check in. Was told that it may be a possibility and to wait for a msg for when the room was ready. Called again at 1.30pm and room was clean but not inspected, came back to reception at 2.30 and was told was still waiting for inspection and they would text me asap. Arrived back at reception at 3.30 and the room was only just ready. However we had friends staying at the same place and they checked in early with no issues. Was disappointed that when I arrived at 11 and filled out the paperwork and paid the bond that I was asked to pay again at 3.30 when we were finally given the room key. Communication seems to be a big issue here

Lovely comfortable big bed, generous bathroom & great view.
The in-room dining was delicious (& fast!) with lots of local flavours.
Friendly & professional staff treated me (& my Assistance Dog) very well & helped get my bags to & from the car. I even felt safe late at night when I had to go outside to toilet my Assistance Dog, that the hotel security we're watching out for us. Top quality service.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay & will definitely stay again next time when we attend conferences next door, or a gallery trip to Melbourne - it's just so conveniently close to everything!

A perfectly located location for the convention center with attentive, helpful and congenial staff. The location was also convenient for exploring the city on foot and trolley. The onsite restaurant was good as well.
