The hotel looks great outside, but as soon as you walk in, the lobby area is not clean. It looked like kids played there and was never picked up. The front desk attendant seems to hate their job.
The room was horrendous. Bathroom door does not close all the way. Shower pressure was so low that you couldn’t even take a shower. Mind you, this room is at the first floor. Towels were dirty. The refrigerator was so loud, I had to unplug it to get some sleep. We didn’t even bother with breakfast. If the hotel is this bad, we’re pretty sure breakfast will be a disappointment as well.
I can’t believe Hotels.com charges over $100 to stay here. Shame on you. Never again will I stay at any La Quinta hotel.

The hotel was clean. However our beds were not comfortable. The beds sweeked and were hard and uncomfortable The TV did not work in the room. I asked the person at the front desk how to turn the TV on however he did not know how to turn it on and we would have to wait in the morning to have the maintenance person to check it. The next morning I asked the person at the front desk about the TV not working and she came up to our room and showed us how to turn the TV on. Overall I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel is nice but still aged obviously and is worn in many areas from the tile work of the walls to the floors and the elevator and pool. After going swimming in the pool it was easy to tell that there used to be a hot tub but it was covered up a long time ago, rust covered the ceiling as you swim and the pool is not heated. The room we had was comfy and nice but the same principle applied the room was worn everywhere from the furniture to the flooring. The double bed room me and my wife had was good but the restroom was really small and most of the provided items to the room were forgotten and i had to ask the front desk. We had a dog for the stay and the hotel was very friendly about us going up and down with it.

The AC had mold in it.
The bed was a king size and had 3 small pillows on it. Not to complain too much, but typically you have king size pillows on a king size bed.
At breakfast the next morning the entire room was a mess. No one cleaned up after people ate and there were spills all over the place.

Please know that I am rating my stay in my room this review does not reflect the conditions and stay of other customer rooms. The stay was okay. The hotel was very noisy and I could hear snoring through the wall. The bathroom ventilation system is not great. You can see water damage at the lower boards of the walls. Due to the moisture and humidity in the bathroom creepy crawlers tend to make their way to the shower and sinks. The hotel in general has an odor but I’m sure it’s from the humidity throughout the hotel that keeps the odor around. The coffee maker was dirty and the cups had old coffee drippings on them. It was gummy bears stuck to the carpet and beside the beds. I also notice spider webs in the corners of the room. The iron was not usable due to a previous customer burning something on it. The blow dryer did not blow hot air. Overall my stay was okay.

The bed was hard, no comforter or duvet. On the weekend, breakfast over at 9 (who gets up early on the weekend). The shower sprayed everywhere, the wallpaper in the shower was peeling. There were weird brown stains on the carpet. I'd never stayed at a laquinta before, but felt it was ok since it was a Wyndham Laquinta... i was wrong

I couldn't get tv to work, phone didn't work, cracks all over bathroom floors and shower.
Front desk clerk came and got tv running, but couldn't fix the phone.

I called the hotel around 10 pm to let them know I would be checking in late. When I arrived at around 4 am. I waited 15 minutes to enter the building bc the front desk attendant was no where to be found. No one was answering our phone calls or the buzzer on the front door. Immediately upon laying down I receive a phone call from the front desk that I need to come back to the front desk to put down a card for incidentals. The front desk attendant struggled to add the payment so I came down for no reason. I also asked about a 12 pm check out since we arrived so late and was told that wasn’t possible and I’d have to call down to the front in the morning. At exactly 11 o clock we received a phone call from the front desk asking us to leave the room. By 11:13 we had to knocks on the door. Never have I felt so rushed to leave a property. Not the southern hospitality I was looking for.

Our hotel remote was not clean. The room didn’t seem that clean. Had to take a cold shower the first day. Reservation was jacked up upon arrival.

Manager was unhelpful. Did not locate bell cart. Wore headphones. Room smelled of mildew. Dog deposit was not refundable. Pillows were only small decorationative and not even suitable for sleeping.

The initial room that I was assigned reeked of the smell of marijuana to the point that as an individual who is allergic to the drug became dizzy and disoriented. After regaining faculties the other guest in the room had to lead one outside for a breath of fresh air. As the 2 guests were quickly reassigned a different room, however; it was appalling that this concern was not rectified by the cleaning staff or at a minimum brought to the attention of the front desk staff and/or leadership.
Although medical marijuana may be legally utilized in the state of MS, many residents and/or visitors of the state do not and will not indulge in such.
It is unfortunate that some as well as many others had to be subjected to this action which shows all that La Quinta Inn and Suites owned and operated by Wyndham Worldwide does not pay attention to the details of the properties nor the health concerns of their guests.

I know the hotel is pet friendly but there should be a way for people like me that are that is fearful of dogs & have allergies. The animals are on a leash but owners alway say "it's a puppy or they are friendly " allowing the dog to come up to you. Please do something for those who just afraid of all dogs & have a medical condition. I was so uncomfortable leaving the room. Customer service was the best. Friendly & professional

It was very noisy, lots of slamming doors late at night. Also, a lot of mystery 'creaking' from the building, which seemed weird. My ground floor room looked right out into the front parking lot, which was unsettling. The whole lobby smelled of disinfectant, too.

We stopped at this hotel as part of a road trip driving through Memphis. We arrived after midnight and slept until breakfast. We woke up to eat breakfast and then went back to the room to shower and get ready for the next leg of our trip. The power went out in the hotel and the room quickly began to get hot. We went in the hall to see what was going on and a housekeeper said that the power was out and no idea as to why or when that might change. No one else said anything to us about it or came to the rooms to check on guests. We packed our things up and left as there was no power to get ready and no air conditioning. As we left, the staff at the front desk again said nothing about the power being out as they sat in a dark hotel without air conditioning.

Nothing special about room or site. Was clean and staff pleasant. Tv did not work. Pool though available was also not fully functional. I guess this was bad timing on my part. Only negative note is tha room photos Do Not show actual accomodations. You need to read the description of what you are getting.

Called earlier to let them know we would be around 11:30 PM getting in. She had our paperwork and key ready as soon as we arrived. She was so sweet and it was so easy. We were in our room in no time! The sleep was great and breakfast was good! Overall wonderful experience.

The blankets were not clean. The remote control for the tv didn’t have batteries. The carbon monoxide detector was open and didn’t have batteries either. They charged me $8 for a bottle of water that no one in the room asked for. Someone went downstairs and charged to my room and they didn’t confirm from what room was that person

I booked this hotel at the very last moment, and all turned out well. I was having trouble with my phone and could not make the reservation until I pulled off the road, almost right in front of the property . The greeting on my entrance to the facility was less than joyful but things got better. It had obviously been a long day. There was a bit of a mixup on check-in due to the newness of the hotel clerk who told me that my card had been declined. She was quickly corrected by a more experienced colleague, and from that point on checking, it went well. Room was super comfortable and I only wish I could’ve stayed longer.

Cheaper than others, but the next morning I saw little flea type bugs on the bed. The bed pillows are half sized pillows, like a sofa throw pillow. The carpeting is dirty. Showered immediately in the AM and left. The eggs at the breakfast were bad, and I generally eat vending machine food all day... Cheap place to stay but c’mon man.

No water pressure in the shower. Ask for a pillow because there was only 3 small pillows on a king size bed and was told no there were none. Only two towels in the room and I have long hair and like a towel for my hair but there were none to be had from the desk. Floor was dirty needed the carpet cleaned.
