I chose the Lark Inn on the day I was driving home from Oregon to Marin County California. It was mid September, looking for a place under $100 for a good nights sleep. Well, I was very happily surprised with this lovely little place: 1) extremely clean and safe environment 2) wonderfully solid & comfortable bed 3) nice closet nook 4) large bathroom, stall shower, good sized bathroom counter space sand all meticulously clean 5) great screened windows in bathroom & bedroom - opened all night for the fresh air 6) yes, rug in bedroom yet newer & clean 7) friendly staff for check in & out 8) will definitely stay again on future trip 9) also nice small refrigerator, microwave & on wall flat screen television

Very comfortable and clean

Everything we needed to stay for a night was there. Comfy bed, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Area looked safe. I walked my dog in the dark. Fast food stops and gas stations are near.

Hospitable staff. Great central location. Comfortable and roomy.

The area is beautiful and we enjoyed our getaway.

The staff was knowledgeable and kind. There was everything you could need and more in the room. Electric fire place pillow chocolates, extra blankets n pillows, make-up towletes etc. The cutest shopa and restaurants across the street. A

I thought it was a fine place to stay

Hotel was well maintained for older property. Room was comfortable and clean and appeared to be recently painted. Small updates like new comforters would go a long way for modernizing. Owner family was very pleasant. While there was no breakfast or on-site laundry, there is a laundromat across the street and a block from McDonalds

Loved the clean motel and it's location. Close to fast foods, restaurant and gas station. It was quiet too!

It was very clean and in good condition. A/C worked well on a hot night.

Cheap, clean and convenient. After reading other reviews concerning sticky carpets I was concerned. But my carpet appeared on the newer side.

Nice and clean place to stay, no complaints

Booked a queen sized room and instead got a full sized bed. The shower was dirty and had dirt on the bottom. In the bathroom, when you get off the toilet, it rocks and hits the wall. Would not stay here again.

It was good, my suggestion is that they should give the customers heads up about not having non smoking rooms available

Check-in was easy. The room was large and comfortable. Wifi steady. Water pressure in the shower was good and hot water hot. There wasn't a closet. The electrical- lamps and plugs need serious work. The beds were firm and the pillows lacking. Still, easy to get to and good for a night.

Property was fine. Very clean room except carpets were sticky. Basic room but ok for the price.

Check in was courteous and quick. Room is fine, a great buy for the money. Wi-Fi is adequate but does tend to fade intermittently. Otherwise, good deal, I’d do it again.

Peaceful

I got food poisoning duing our trip. After checking in, I had to go to the ER. When we came back and went to bed, I had an accident. The next day I explained this to the owner/manager, but his wife/assistant screamed at me about the mess. She had no concern about my well-being. I would have offered to pay for this, but did not after I was screamed at. When we got home, I noticed two rings were missing from my toiletry bag. I cannot prove it was staff, but nobody else was in the room. We obviously will not stay there again.

Dated, but very clean, except for towels. Worn towels that had remnants of nylon fibers from perhaps cleaning scrubs. I question whether the towels were washed and dried with cleaning articles.

Older but very clean place

Desk staff helpful and courteous. Heater worked well. Coffee appreciated.

I got snowed in at Willets on my way on a longer trip and this was the last hotel room in town. The room was very clean, the water hot, and the TV worked. But that was it. The heater just blew air (did I mention it was snowing?); the bathroom was so tiny that I had to wash my hands while sitting on the toilet, only 14" between corner of sink and shower (yes, I measured); there was a corner with a table and chairs, but you had to climb over a bed to get to it and you couldn't see the TV from it so it was useless space; only plugs were in the useless space and behind the bed hard to get to (I ended up using my emergency charger from the car for my phone). Housekeeping did it's job and did it well Whoever designed the room failed miserably. I was only an hour from home. If it hadn't been for the snow, I would have gone home.
