I brought my kids in town to visit the zoo and we had a lovely stay at the hotel. The pool area was VERY hot, but the kids still loved swimming all day. :) The breakfast was not as good as expected. I typically choose IHG hotels because their free breakfast is so good and there are so many choices. This one wasn't the best. Very friendly staff.

It was a nice hotel. I would stay there again. The breakfast wasn’t that great coffee kept running out. It was a nice location.

Decor was very updated and modern. Room was mostly clean. The floors in the room were laminate (?) and there was some crud in the corners that looked like a Swiffer missed. Breakfast has a nice selection of food, but eggs were a little rubbery and the ketchup, in the packets, tastes like it was off. I don't think that it was name brand. The gym had a good selection of equipment, though, it did look old. The pool was great. The whole pool room was warm, which is a plus because I hate cold pool rooms. The spa was in good working order and I think the water itself might have been salt water? It was an overall OK stay.

Very clean. Big room that faced busy road. Next time I would request back room on the back side of hotel to avoid a ome light traffic noise, but not bad. Breakfast was typical and tasty. I would stay again. Beds were comfy.

The room was great and very clean plus had everything we needed. Check in and out was great. Location close to hospital.

It was a clean hotel. We did not sleep well. The walls are really thin and you can here everything I the rooms around you including the other rooms flushing toliets.

I stayed with a friend and my 2 year old son for 2 nights. The hotel was acceptable and met our basic needs. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was small and dated. Water pressure in the shower was low and the walls were paper thin you could hear every word people were saying in the room next door. Doors slammed when you closed them even if you tried to do it quietly. The pool was pretty dirty, it did not seem well maintained. My 2 year old son and I had the pool to ourselves and he didn’t seem to mind, but wasn’t what I’d expect from a holiday inn. On the plus side of things, breakfast was delicious and the staff was very nice. The fitness center was also pretty nice and had everything you’d need for a workout. Was not in line with what I expect from holiday inn and a room I pay over $150 a night for!

From the desk lady to pool to room, all excellent

Location was easy to get to and breakfast was good. Self parking was easy and convenient.

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly however there was a time whenfront desk worker who didnt speak English so she really couldnt assist us. Rooms were clean and spacious. Pool and hot tub looked maintained (pool was salty not sure why) however both times we went to pool there were no clean towels and the phone in the pool area to front desk was broken. Additionally the breakfast advertised Cinnabon but was never actually served while we were there which was disappointing

Management went out of their way to serve our needs. Breakfast was hot but not as much variety as other places.

Breakfast only offered until 8:00 and it was a "pick up a bagged breakfast" not a buffet. No one at front desk at check out.

Room was excellent as well as the staff. Will be staying again!

I found the property to be less than desirable. The noise was horrible. There was very little light in the room and that was a issue with me as well. Staff was okay but when I asked for late checkout I was looked at strangely. I would not return to this location

Room was being renovated, but wasn't done, so not sure why I got stuck in that room. TV/cable not hooked up, no sitting area furniture as shown on room pics. No room do not disturb signs. Came back late, told to park in front of the dumpster because they had no space. Bed was nice though.

A little run down in some areas but floors and bathrooms have been recently renovated and, really important to us, beds are comfortable and coffee is good!!

I loved the room, the hot tub, and the free breakfast. It was in the perfect location for everything that me and my partner wanted to do. Everything was so cleans and then staff was super helpful and very nice. Check in was painless and checkout was painless too. I love everything about my stay. When I come back to stay we are going to make this our destination everytime.

Check-in was a breeze and the staff was friendly. But once you reach the elevators you get the sense that they just bought an old hotel and painted over everything. Everything from the elevators, to the carpeting in the hallways, to the rooms themselves looks like a recycled hotel. And not nearly as good as the online photos advertising the property. Peeling paint everywhere, ancient mini splits, very few outlets to charge devices when we live in a digital world. My daughter woke up to a dead cell phone because her charger simply fell out of a worn out outlet after it took her several minutes just to get it to stay plugged in before she fell asleep. The beds were way too soft so if you have back issues steer clear. Needles to say we didn’t sleep well at all. Then there was the clogged bathtub drain that formed a nice little bath up to your ankles as you showered. They fixed it the next morning. The worst was our keycards constantly needing reprogrammed/replacing. Every other time we left the room or hotel they didn’t work for the side doors to the building nor our room door when we returned. I usually enjoy the Holiday Inn Expresses that I’ve stayed at before in other places but this one was overall a huge disappointment and waste of money. Never seen one this bad. We will not be back. There are far better hotels nearby that I’ll stay at before I ever go back to this one. Only good thing is it’s walking distance to OSU campus and sporting venues.

It's an older property, could use new furniture, BUT the floors and bathrooms have been recently redone, which is a bonus, and the bed was really comfortable. Coffee was also really good, which makes or breaks a place for me, so I will stay again.

Staff was very dismisive, short, and didn't seem to communicate on a personal level with people. Not that they were mean or rude... just cold and impersonal. My room had empty cans under the nightstand, stains on the wall all behind the trash can, the wall above the headboard extremely dusty and showed hand prints in the dust, the room probably needed some maintenance like trim fixed, flooring transitions fixed, touch-up painting, and i had to run the jacuzzi tub 2 times to get debris from floating around on top of the water probably from dirt in the jets from previous guests. Paid nearly $300 for the 1 night, on a Saturday OSU game night. I was expecting a bit of a nicer experience to be honest. Again, wasn't horrible, wasn't great. Breakfast was good. Lobby nice. Properly decent. I've traveled alot and stayed in alot of hotels.... this was just average. Nothing special that would stand out about the stay.

The hotel cancelled our reservation with no email or phone call. Luckily got the last room available but charged us more than our origional reservation. Not sure exactly what happend...But management was not sypathetic. There is a disconnect between booking on Hotels.com and any hotel. Beware.

We like that it was a clean and updated room, no old carpets! Towels were clean and the bed was comfortable. We liked they have coffee and tea available. Breakfast didn't last as long as they stated. Lady in charge was cleaning all up 20 minutes earlier, a guy that came after us was left with no much to choose from because all was already taken away. The pool had a greenish color that was unnapealing, we thought it wasn't the water in itself but maybe a dirty pool floor.

I stayed here for two nights . It was really nice . From the soft king bed to the cleanest of the room . I loved the fact it had a fridge and microwave. But what really made my day was the fact that the morning manager Annette was so attentive with the text messages welcoming me there. Will stay again . Clean and quiet

I thought everyone was friendly and very happy. The only thing I was disappointment I had was the noisy AC unit in the room. Work great just a little loud.

They cancelled my booking and stated they didn’t have control over third party reservations, charged us almost double of when we booked it on Expedia. Ran into two other families at the hotel that said the same thing happened to them and they had to stay together. Employees would not give me corporate number to call.

The hotel was great. Price a little high

although the lobby was lovely, that is where it stopped. The rest of the hotel was rundown, broken and dirty! Dirty surfaces everywhere. The common areas like the hallways and the elevator did not look like they had been attended to for 20 years. Layers of dirt. My toilet ran 24/7 and it was loud. My ac/heat unit sounded like it was going to explode. The front desk called my cell phone at 12:46am?! with no explanation as to why. Needs a lot of work!!!

Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, good area, close to restaurants, easy to get to OSU and hospitals in area.
