I loved that this villa was small and private. The rooms were clean and a nice size and it’s very close to the beach and local dining. I definitely recommend it.

A block away from the beach which is perfect and the room was spotless

Broken outlets, leaking shower door, water damaged furniture and horrible smell of mold. Owner is strict, outlets requre the use of roomkeys to save money and check in is at a very strick 330 on the dot. Front desk staff is very friendly but over all, i would never stay here again. I do have pictures of the faults and moisuture catchers all over the room.

The staff was amazing. Provided us with recommendations About activities to do around the area. Extremely hospitable.

Paid for 2 kids and 2 adults to then having to pay another resort fee for the same kid cause he was 11 not sure what resort fee is for when there is no pool and 2blocks from the beach

Charming place to stay great location I would stay there again with the request of a firmer mattress. Staff is very attentive to customer needs.

The room was horrible! There was only a sheet to sleep with, I was afraid to put my head in the bed. The soap holder fell off the shower wall while in the shower. There was some goop all over the mirror. Awful!!

I would like a refund there was no ac in my room.

Very friendly staff very well maintained always offering to help asking if I needed anything. Location was wonderful. Very wonderful time would definitely recommend to everyone!!! 5 STAR!!!!

Such a disappointing place!!! Photo and reality absolutely do not correspond to each other. Very shabby furniture, a terrible smell of mold, rust on metal things. Everything is old and ugly. They pretend to be a good hotel with bathrobes and their own beach, but it would be better if they paid attention to the appearance of the rooms and the smell. The rating is obviously screwed up. We paid for 3 nights at this hotel, but could not stay there even for a couple of hours and left it. Definitely do not recommend this place to stay. The only positive thing about this place is the management. But, this is clearly not enough for a good vacation.

Great Location!!! If you are looking for a trip to south beach and aren't going to be in your room too much this place is perfect. The Room serves it purpose but my TV didn't work and you only get a thin sheet for bedding. Front Desk was extremely nice and helpful and you also get to use umbrella and chairs on beach.

The water pressure was way too low, the sheets were so thin and when we asked for a blanket we were given a fitted sheet... The attitudes of the manager and an employee were also unappreciated.

Victoria was great and offered lots of activity options check in was easy, the location was within walking distance from beach I liked that we had beach chairs and umbrellas would highly recommend this hotel!

The location was very close to the beach. Restaurants everywhere but are pricey. The towels, beach chairs and umbrellas worked but could of used updating. Beach was very nice. Staff are all very friendly! No breakfast anymore should that needs to come off the advertising. Rooms were cute and a/c worked great. TV lost signal all the time, they must use an internet connection. Rooms mostly quiet esp being in a busy street. Stains on lamp, curtains and towels. Iron with burnt bottom. Bathroom door did not close. They left the used small samples all in a pile on the sink from previous use.

Totally run down property. Bathroom door didn’t shut. TV didn’t work. Found dead bug in bed. Pictures of hotel and room were NOT accurate. Ordered taxi that front desk dismissed and ordered “their partner taxi”, which charged us more money than we were quoted from original taxi. Best thing about the place was the proximity to the beach.

Communicating with the hotel was led to waiting for responses, or receiving no response at all. Our security deposit was never returned and when I inquired about it, I received no response. One of the staff was friendly and kind. The bathroom required some maintenance and my husband actually repaired a shelf that fell off. I was not comfortable at this hotel. The only beneficial part is having direct access to the beach which is a 10 minute walk.

This was a terrible hotel. Could not watch tv as they had no cable. there were two lamps in the room and that was the extent of the light with one bulb burned out in the bathroom. Very dark. The front desk was ok but the maintenance man was very very rude. They charged a resort fee of 60 dollars which I feel we certainly didn’t receive anything to justify that. Would not stay there again and most certainly would not recommend it.

Villa Italia is a small, quiet hotel just on the other side of 5 and Washington. It's out of the way from the fray of the beach, meaning a good spot for R&R, and not too far away from the beach (you can reserve a chair and umbrella at the beach, and the hotel provides a beach towel). The staff is super and the hotel is very clean. The kingsize bed was extremely comfortable. The furniture in the room is showing its age however and should be upgraded, and more practical furniture (like a clothes dresser) would have been helpful rather than working out of a suitcase. There was a lot of wasted space in the room - a desk with no chair, a built in suitcase stand, etc. - that could be repurposed. It would also be helpful to provide instructions on how to use the Nespresso machine and TV. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would return. If you're looking for more restaurant choices and more accessibility to the hotels and clubs up by Lincoln Mall, then you will pay $7 for an Uber to get up there - although the walk is nice, it can be a bit far to go every day.

This was my first stay in south beach Miami and it was a very nice stay. The hotel was in close proximity to many things and the people providing services answered my questions and resolved problems promptly. I wish the hotel had more to offer than a place to lay my head and being in a great location. Overall it’s a nice place and I would recommend!
