We went down to Toowoomba for a family holiday and stayed at the highlander hotel the staff were lovely. They always had a smile always keen to help you if you needed it very friendly to talk too. The room was amazing very clean and tidy perfect size for a couple or a small family. The patio was private and out of view of the street which was nice. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here for a few nights

Fantastic place to stay. Beds were extremely comfortable and the room was family friendly and clean. The pool area was lovely and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

Of all the stopovers we are making at the moment, It was nice being greeted by Management with a smile and a chat. The nicest I’ve come across so far.
We stayed in after arriving as we just wanted to relax. And decided to order from the Menu for in room dining. I ordered a Fillet Steak cooked to perfection, with Pepper Sauce, Vegetables & Chips.
My husband ordered Mango Chicken & Rice with Vegetables.
Both Meals were delicious and reasonably priced.
The Motel is situated on a busy street.
We were in a front room, it was very noisy.
The room we booked had a queen bed which was uncomfortable and the pillow was hard and high. The room also had 2 singles, due to traffic noise we slept in the single beds. They were much more comfortable.
The Rooms were spacious and clean.
We enjoyed our overnight stay.

I had stayed in this property before and I had a good experience, this time not so much.
The remmo we had was today but had a funny smell and was not the cleanest room we have stayed in.
This coupled with the noise from the road traffic and we had a pretty averystay.

Great staff. Room is aged but in good condition. Needs a general refurb, but good value for money. Fair bit of road noise from West St. until quite late into the evening as our room was on that side of the facility, but we were there on a Saturday night, so it may have been worse than normal due to that reason. Overall, happy with the experience for the one night we spent there. Thanks

Typical Motel rooms, slightly dated, clean but not serviced during stay. TV, Fridge, kettle, toaster crockery and utensils. Resonable room service food. Shower door required extra screw, and end stop to net curtain rail missing, allowing curtains to fall off rail. Generally clean and tidy and friendly, in need of a little TLC to raise the bar.

Our apartment was older style but very well appointed, roomy, comfy large bed and very clean. We would definitely stay here again. The fridge was extremely cold, froze the water in a metal water bottle until we turned it down. Only comment was smokers allowed to smoke on seat outside the apartment was off putting for this non smoker.

Lovely stay there, pet friendly, staff were lovely and food was delicious, we got the t bone & mango chicken for dinner, then Eggs Benedict for breakfast!

We had a wonderful stay at Highlander motor inn. Staff were lovely, particularly Mandy who was on front desk and also delivered our breakfast in the morning. They were very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were humble, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and very affordable. Will not hesitate to return.

First impressions at reception friendly staff asked if we could have late checkout they were happy to oblige could have given more direction as to where our room was, went all the way up the other end but our room was pretty much right above reception. They also explained as we asked about balcony the door was broken so needed to be careful. Once getting to our room we did realise the balcony door was actually fully broken and had to move whole door to side for safety. On first impression the room did not seem clean the shower screen looked very dirty. The next morning we woke to coffee tea and sugar sachets no milk had to call down to reception for some, could also have provided more sugar. Our room had a spa bath and went to run it and soap residue still on the soap holder and hair in the jets had to give it a good clean before we could use it, then turned the jets on and one off the jets totally blew off so all in all wasn't a very nice experience and will definately not be going back

Excellent in all respects. The room service food was excellent, and the motel has a dog friendly policy.

It's hard to find a place that is truly pet friendly but this hotel is. We travel with two Dalmatians and we had them inside with us. There were no rules saying dogs can't be here or there in the apartment. It was large and they had room to move around after being in the car all day. Big thanks to Mandy.
