Very unique, historic B&B with lovely owners...it's older but that's part of the charm! The bathroom was squeaky clean and we had everything we needed in our standard room. (My cousins' deluxe rooms were more spacious and that's where we gathered for wine and conversation.) Breakfast was delicious, with friendly conversation with the owner/chef. Could've stayed longer!

This property was absolutely beautiful. Our hosts were attentive, breakfast was generous and well prepared. Rooms were clean and spacious. It’s such a lovely old house that made us feel at home and stepping back into another era. Loved it and plan to stay again.

Wonderful service from check-in to check-out! The Captain’s suite was spacious and clean, and the entire inn is filled with wonderful antiques and local historical photos. The breakfast was delightful, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. We will be visiting again on our next trip to Saint John

Owners were very professional and accommodating. Room was quite spacious and very quiet. Hot breakfast was excellent! Enjoyed access to Kuerig coffee.
All in all, a great experience. Will definitely recommend and will stay again on future trip.

This was the best place that we ever stayed on vacation. We were there for 5 days. the breakfast which was included was different every day and absolutely fantastic.

The B&B is amazing. This is 2 old homes that have been linked into one hotel. The building inside is beautiful and the antiques and furnishings are wonderful. The outside needs painting but the owners have only had the property 2 years and will get to the outside. Breakfast was cooked in the kitchen right off the dining area and was delicious. I would highly recommend this B&B!!

This place felt like a rooming house and was misrepresented in their photos. The carpet in the room was stained and dirty, the mattress was very hard and felt like it was purchased cheap at a discount mattress store, and there is no real soundproofing so we were awoken several times by other guests. The kicker is the place was not cheap—the room was not worth anywhere near what we paid. Don’t be fooled by the photos, this “inn” has zero charm and although it’s in an old building did not feel “historic” in any way.

This was a unique B&B in a nicely restored old home with views of the harbor. The owners were onsite and involved in the business, which always makes things go well. The homemade breakfasts every morning were a treat and it was nice to learn about the area history.

This is a lovely place to stay. We had an early ferry the next morning, and we were provided with a nice variety of food and snacks in our takeaway box lunch. I would happily stay here again if I’m in the area.

Stair climbing was more than I expected, and I don’t think the amount of stair climbing was mentioned in there advertising. There is no assistance for luggage breakfast was skimpy.

The owner responded quickly to my midnight phone call that the toilet overflowed. However, he was unable to fix the problem & unlocked a nearby vacant room so we could use that bathroom. He said he needed to replace the toilet. The bed was not comfortable in our opinion. An EXCELLENT breakfast was served!

The cleaning needs to be improved, with dust and dirt visible on windows and window ledges, on dressers. The bathroom was pretty clean though. We also didn’t find the mattress in room 9 comfortable. It had a noticeable dip and loud springs when we moved at night. Consequently we did not have a good first night’s rest. To their credit they moved us into another room upon request, where the mattress was perfectly fine. Although given Neil’s tone and line of questioning us about it I’m not certain we were taken seriously. On a final note, breakfast was delicious every day.

The inn keeper was warm and inviting. The property is an old Inn that requires some updates.

Truly a lovely building, attractive gardens with delightful breezes,, and the proprietors are hospitality personified. And the breakfast!! Totally divine. However, our room was stifling - car temp registered 91 degrees on drive over. There was an oscillating fan pushing air around and we ran the exhaust fan non-stop but there was NO WAY to get fresh air into the room because the windows are nailed shut. In addition to being uncomfortable, this was disconcerting because the fire escape options included exiting the window to the flat roof and stairs down (we were on a third floor). I would stay again but in cold weather only.

Beautiful, authentic historic home. Room was beautiful, spacious, clean. Decorated with Victorian furnishings and art. Loved the widow’s walk and views from property. Delicious breakfast, in consideration of dietary restrictions. Would definitely recommend.

What an interesting building with so much history! The location is great in terms of ease of getting into town, etc., and it's near the famous Reversing Falls. Maybe we should have asked if the tub/shower was easy to get it and use, because it was challenging. Also, having a luggage rack for our suitcase would have been good. The bed was comfortable and the sheets super nice! Breakfast was fabulous and the chef was right there preparing and able to tell us all about the house, the history, and the area.

The breakfasts (cooked by the owner) were delicious and well-presented. The room we had (Verandah) was spacious with plenty of windows and natural light. Sufficient seating and a comfy bed. The bathroom was dated but clean and every thing we needed was there. The stately old home was appropriately decorated with intriquing woodwork. A very pleasant stay!

Although only there for one night, we had an enjoyable experience. Rooms clean, bed comfy, shower awesome. Morning breakfast was delicious; coffee amazing. Easy check-in and hosts accommodating; parking a bonus.

The facilities and grounds need a lot of repairs and updates. Our toilet ran all night and the staff staff said has not been able to get plumbers to repair others as well.
