Great hotel but most buildings in Hoi Ann affected by rising dampness.

Staff was very friendly and the hotel was very close to restaurants and boutiques

The host Helen who runs the front desk and takes care of things is awesome - super nice, friendly, knowledgeable and always a smile.
Nice location pretty close to downtown and easy connection to the beach. Pool is private, decent sized and like every other pool in Vietnam at this time it is warm water. Our room faced the street but was still quiet with good windows.

Friendly staff but property need upgrade. TV channels were poor in quality. Internet speed was good. No lift. Nice location that is close to restaurants and water.

This is a colonial mansion turned to hotel, with huge stairways and alleys between rooms; the dining room is also huge. We just love the classic look of the building. It is within walking distance to Old Hoa An and its many attractions (UN heritage sites, silk factory, river shore walkway), shops and local markets. Breakfast buffet has a good variety of western and Vietnamese food, we were there for 5 days and still enjoyed the menu. Our room booked through Expedia is large, comfortable and clean. It has a patio door opened to a small balcony, overlooking the alley along the hotel; we could see or hear the heavy rain pattering the glass, a nostalgic memory of rainy season in Central Vietnam. We already mark this place in our future visit to Hoi An.

Something about this hotel connected me to memories of a place where I used to have a youth summer camp in Portugal. I guess pretty ok for a 3-star hotel. :) I like the little balconies, the quietude... it's not too far from the main tourist spots...

Lovely hotel with character and wonderful, helpful staff. Excellent location for entering the markets - a very short walk - shopping area and old town. Great breakfast and pool. My second stay at this hotel and will come again.

Nice hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast. The only negative is that on top of the door there is a window allowing the light from the hallway to come into the room, which is very annoying if you like to sleep in a complete dark room

This hotel has nothing of a Boutique hotel! We stayed in several boutique hotels. Very disappointed

Value for the money paid. Staff were helpful.

Very good but the lobby smelled of moth balls. Also, the light from the hallway shone through the window in the door all night.
Nice and central. Beautiful room with small balcony

Meet with a beautifully iced glass of Vietnamese Tea; Tina greeted us to her hotel. How wonderful to be in the hands of a gracious and experienced host. She pointed out the hotel facilities, ensured we were comfortable and knew our names in an instant. Would definitely stay there again

We got a room right next to the swimming pool. It was so hot so it was good to have the pool as it was so hard to find a restaurant or shop with air con in the old town.

This hotel is in a great location. It takes only a few minutes stroll to be at the market. A 10 minute easy stroll gets you well into the old town. Our room was spacious with a comfy large bed. We had a small balcony with 2 chairs which was a nice place to sit in the evening. The bathroom was clean. It had a shower over the bath. There was also a fridge and safe in the room.
The staff were friendly and always waved and said hello when we went in and out.
The pool area is well kept. There were a few beds around the pool and some of them had a cushion. The pool went into the shade in the afternoon so it was very nice to sit out by the pool.
The hotel also has a bar and restaurant although we didn't use this facility.
Breakfast was a buffet and the options were excellent and also some of the options changed daily. There was an egg station, cereals, juices, bread, happy cow cheese, toast, ham, noodles and pho etc.

It was wonderful, property is a little too far from the Ancient City. But the Staff was awesome and room was very nice, A little old but the staff made up for the property.

I spent two nights at this hotel. Loved the room. And the staff was great in every regard. They also have very reasonable prices for the car service, if you want to explore nearby attractions (Marble Mt, Da Nang).

The girls in reception were helpful and got us acquainted to our surroundings upon arrival. They organised scooter rental, taxis to/from the station/airport. They drew us a good map to guide us on the long scooter journey from Hoi An to My Son & Da Nang. Be warned that there is no elevator (4 floors) but they will carry your luggage to/from the ground floor. You may want to request rooms on a lower floor. We didn't use the pool but it will be nice on a hot day! The room was large, with A/C and even a had a DVD player which takes ubs sticks! The tv was a flat screen cathode ray - a blast from the past! The staff got to know us, remembered our names and we chatted in the evenings. The main entrance may close around 10pm but you can get in through the side entrance. The location is good - a 15min walk into the centre. Rent a bicycle or a scooter for a faster journey. Having the PC in the room was great to plan onward journeys. Some suggestions for the hotel are to put a towel ring for hand towels and introduce a tip box in reception for staff to share the tips (many other hotels in Vietnam had already adopted this system). The computer in our room was not working and was replaced with a new computer immediately. The breakfast buffet is fine - they will make omelettes on request. Overall, Yemy and her team were great. They even got us a taxi to the airport at 6am at VERY short notice when we changed our departing flight to HCMC.

With its price, I think the room is OK. My only suggestion is the hotel should open its formal gate for customers instead of use the gate of the restaurant.

The staff was very helpfull and kind. I really felt welcomed. The room was in very good condition and the hotel felt very cozy. It was nice and clean and with good wifi. The breakfast was very nice, the location was good and I especially have to thank the owner for her kindness. I couldn't really ask for more.

We only stayed one night but for the price we paid everything was very satisfactory. Desk staff was very helpful in organising a few things for us & gave good recommendations for eating out.

Staff are brilliant and helpful, rooms are comfortable and clean. Great location easy walk to ancient town, lovely breakfast, I would defiantly recommend to friends and stay again

Helpful friendly staff, well equipped clean rooms with the bonus of a pool. Great breakfast and fruit on arrival in the room. This hotel goes out of its way to provide those small touches that make a good hotel great. It is 5 -10 mins walk from the old town area but it's an easy walk and the hotel is surrounded by shops and restaurants. When it rained heavily one day we took a taxi - very cheap. We will come back to this hotel.
