Absolutely no complaints. Everything was very clean. We weren't on a vacation. So we had just wanted we needed. Our only slight disappointment was that our beds weren't fixed when we left for the day. We thought maybe because we left them to neat? The kindly hostess recommended The Cove restaurant right down the street. Thank you! The service was great. The food was excellent. We went there twice. It was surprisingly quiet too. We couldn't hear anything from the other rooms...like water running,etc. Like I said in the beginning: no complaints. We were very pleased with the whole experience.

Might be a bit outdated but was very clean, affordable, and served its purpose considering the amount of time we were spending there (just to sleep).

Loved the nicely renovated small-motor-hotel vibe. Clean, comfortable, family-friendly at a great price, what more could be asked for?! Only desires for improvement are clothing hooks in bathroom and denser pillows..

Cute stay right off route 1. Lots of parking. Updated rooms. I appreciated my own ice maker! Bed wasn't great but we were there for the ocean. Easy check-in process.

We had to check in late & the staff was very helpful. The parking lot was well lit. The room was very clean & nicely decorated. We will stay there again!

We were in town for a wedding and Phil and Ann's worked out perfectly for us. Clean, neat, quiet. The rooms looked like they were recently updated. The staff was very accommodating. I would highly recommend Phil and Anns!

Convenient location, very nice grounds. Very clean! A/C, Coffee, TV, microwave in the room. The only thing - the room is tiny and the bed is not very comfy. But overall I highly recommend

Phil and Anne’s was perfect for our weekend needs. The room was clean and looked new. The property was maintained well. The location was easy to get to with plenty of things around. Overall would stay here again and suggest it to friends.

Phil & Anns Sunset motel was the perfect little getaway for us! Check in was very easy and convenient. The room was spotlessly clean and provided everything we needed, such as a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Easy access to many local attractions such as beaches, restaurants, etc. We would love to return for another visit!

The motel is nice enough for a couple of nights but I can't say I would want to stay longer than that. You can hear the highway (route 1 A) from your room as well as neighboring motel neighbors (talking, flushing toilets, etc.). The maid service is awesome! Many hotels/motels currently don't provide maid service if you're only staying 2 nights but this one does! What's odd is the manager of the motel was not around when we arrived (at check in time). I had to call a phone number to check into the motel which was a little annoying. When I spoke to the manager, he gave me the room number and said the room was unlocked with the key placed on the table inside which was odd since the motel had a keypad on the outside door. We always lock the door when we leave to go out during the day. This time when we came back to the motel we found that the maid service had left our motel door unlocked (this had all of our stuff inside so it was weird to see they didn't lock the door). The cost of the motel is not cheap but it is in a location where you can get to beaches rather quickly so it's understandable. The room we were in looked like they had renovated it within the last couple of years, however, the mattresses definitely need replacing as they were uncomfortable to sleep on. There are things the owners of the motel could do better but ultimately this motel met our needs for the time we were there.

Was assigned a cabin(?) instead of motel room possibly due to end of season consolidation. Accommodation was large and clean though needing maintenance and refreshing (perhaps due to end of a busy season). Very hard mattresses. Considering all, we felt the price exceeded value.

Next to a highway, a bit noisy. Quite a bit pricey for the location off the beach.

Very nice little place. Not fancy but clean, fresh. Only annoyance was , the check-in was all by phone/ no clerk at desk but I guess that’s a COVID precaution and a young peoples thing. I like personal contact so I can ask questions-directions, restaurant’s etc. Yes, I know every uses a phone now…
