Brigit was amazing. We didn't see much of her but that's because we didn't have any problems! When we did see her, she was so kind and an amazing host. We had to head off without saying goodbye, but thank you so much for taking such good care of us! The room is perfect for a family of four and the bath is an brilliant experience - you get to relax surrounded by the stone walls which reminds you where you are. Great Indian restaurant and Chippy is a lovely wee town

Great welcome and really nice hosts. Room was clean and warm with everything you need.
Nice pub downstairs, plenty of dining options as the Kings Arms is on a well- served high street.
Pretty perfect in my opinion and I’ll definitely stay again

I recently stayed at The Kings arms Hotel for two nights as I initially went to visit Jeremy Clarkson's farm but also took the time to explore chat Chipping Norton has to offer.
My stay there was superb and couldn't really fault it. It stated that it wasn't doing food so off the cuff plans were made for that, but the stay at the hotel itself was lovely.
I booked the triple room with the bath which was so nice after the drive there.
The Room is a great size with plenty of tea and coffee to keep you going and the comfort of the room was second to none.
It was clean and tidy which is all you can really ask for when you are looking for a place to get your head down basically.
The staff were pleasant and very welcoming each time they seen you and the landlady took extra time it was felt having a chat with you which was great.
There is plenty of space in the car area and it has a pool table and dartboards towards the rear of the pub.
Again that itself was clean tidy and inviting with a warm environment and pleasant/ welcoming atmosphere.
Drinks are fairly priced and the land lady knows how to measure her spirits and mixer perfectly.
I'd highly recommend staying here and would do so again time and time again.

A cute little place ideal for getting to soho farmhouse. However the bathroom didn’t have a shower so we struggled in the morning as you can imagine. People friendly.

Basic, no frills room for one. Kettle and tea facilities, tv.
Staff very pleasant and helpful. Clean and functional. Limited parking, first come first served.

BE VERY CAREFUL! This hotel doesnt offer ANY food - no dinner, no breakfast, nothing, zilch. Also I didnt find this out till after I'd booked and they dont allow ANY cancellations (even well in advance).

Check in staff not very helpful. Room was in poor condition.

Not a bad one night stay

Good location in the heart of the village. Only discovered that there was no bathplug to have a bath. No shower either, so a stand up wash instead. The main premises being closed until 11am, there was no-one to contact.Parking was a problem as the only car park was a good walk away and parking only for up to 12 hours. Good cafe opposite to have breakfast.

The pub/hotel is clearly old and some of the features are pretty cool.
When we arrived we were met by friendly staff that showed us to the room straight away.
The room wasn’t overly clean (cobwebs all over) but the sheets towels etc were so it wasn’t an issue.
We stayed in a room to sleep x4 so for the price you really couldn’t argue.
Don’t expect all bells and whistles if you ain’t paying top prices
Overall absolutely fine

Pros: A lot of space in room, very friendly & helpful host found us a mini fridge, good Indian restaurant next door.
Cons: Only 4 parking spaces that are first come first serve so if you check in late you need to find parking elsewhere.

A great one night stay in the area, the family room was adequate for 3 adults, but the stairs were a little steep for my elderly mother, I wish I had known that. A quirky old hotel, the kitchen was closed during our stay but we found suitable walkable from the hotel. A very small car park available at back but on street parking can be available for overnight but not the daytime. Suitable for a 1 night stay.

The people at the property were lovely but the room was extremely dated, tiles off the wall, peeling wallpaper, mattress that didn’t fit the bed and windows that rattled. A shame, as it could be a really lovely place with some significant work done to it.

Lovely stay at this property. The owners take great care to provide a comfortable stay and we appreciated the thoughtful suggestions for things to do and see in the area. The mattresses are getting tired and could use replacing but the overall stay was excellent.

Parking was a challenge at times

Really lovely room and friendly people.
Hot water not very hot though but I know there was a boiler problem that was explained to me

Kings Arms is a charming pub/hotel. The building is old, the floors are crooked, but that is why it is so charming!

Friendly staff, accommodation as advertised. Great location. Lovely historical features.

owner/manager was very friendly.
The only thing that was annoying was that we could only check in between 3pm-10pm, as we were attending a wedding 15 mins away meant we had to duck out early to check in as we didn't want to leave the party early at 9.45pm to do this..

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location for visiting the theatre and nearby restaurants.
The room was a bit dated and requires a bit of a make over to increase the cleaning in the bathroom. A bit 80s furniture and pictures.

Staff were wonderful but room was extremely noisy - on a busy round about. Additionally walls are very thin - I could bear the person next door snoring! Bed linen new and clean but shower area needs some work.

Very enjoyable stay. The room was nice and clean although a bit of maintenance should be carried out. Bath panel and electrics.
Surprised there was no shower so had my first bath in 20yrs which was not a bit issue as we were in no rush.
Good location

King Arma is not clean, I found dust under beds, caret is dirty, bathroom is poor, no shelf, toilet is black mark inside, carpet is not suitable for bathroom. Bedroom is only one light and dark. Bedside lamp or wall light is none, electric socket is not enough. Stair is not safe because it is no hand rail.Staff gave us only one key for bedroom. They did switch of light and it is very dark, we don’t know where is switch. They didn’t clean or change bed sheets for 3 days It is no breakfast because they said kitchen is no service but I don’t think so because I think they had fail health and safe.. King Arms is no star and should low price. We will not come back.

Did what it said on tin, cheap and not very cheerful. Check in polite. Condition of room, grim. One of the blinds didn’t close. Noisy road outside, location was good for us as close to where we needed to be in evening. Would we go back, no.

Nice area lovely young blonde girl very nice and helpful only down side was someone knocking on are door at 7 when was told we would be ok to block car park as we were leaving for 8 but was nice enough just would have been nice to get an apology for the early wake up but didn't

On arrival I was told the kitchen had closed for the foreseeable future, which was probably a blessing. Half the beers were off ànd the pub was between managers.
I stayed three nights, after the first my room was serviced, the second it wasn't.
Tired, dirty, old old mattress and 80s pub carpet though out.
Owned by Arkles who should either condem it and shut it down or spend some money on it.

Not great for the extortionate price. On-site parking advertised but with only three spaces for 10+ rooms. TV broken. No shower. Smelled musty. Plug sockets hanging off the wall. Bed was so hard and lumpy we could not sleep. Only plys was that the pub was great.

Lovely place to stay, only let down by not serving breakfast, even though advertised on their website.

We stayed at the Kings Arms for 2 nights as base to explore the Cotswolds - the location is great as some of the towns are only 30 minutes away. However the room itself was very average and you get what you pay for. The carpet was old and made the room smell stale (not helped by having carpet in the bathroom). It wasn't very pleasant to spend lots of time in, but given we were out and about most of the day, it was okay.
