On the whole this was a good stay and I would definitely come again. Staff were attentive and pleasant. There were a few warts, some of the furnishings are showing age, given this trip was after the busy season my guess is much of that will be addressed during the winter.
We did have problems with the HVAC in the room, the thermostat was badly out of calibration. Purely by chance I had a thermometer in the car and despite the system being set to 69, the same temperature we keep our home and reading the room was 72, it was actually 64. We called but they had no one to address it as it was late on a Friday night. I found by cranking it up to 78 we did get the room to a comfortable temp we were offered another room but didn't really want to move at that point.
we also had a problem with the tub, the diverter for the shower was stuck. My wife struggled and I was able to pull it up but it then stuck in the other position. We did mention this to them.
Beyond these minor issues both of which did not impact our stay we enjoyed our time there and would go back, but can't give it a top rating.

A nice hotel. Unfortunately my room was next to an ongoing construction project and it was quite noisy from 8:30 am to 6 pm.

We returned to Fairfield at Chincoteague after staying there in 2022 because we thought it was so nice. We were not disappointed.
The room was excellent - spacious and comfortable with a wonderful view over the bay. We sat on the balcony and watched the sun set.
The hotel is well located with good parking. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the buffet breakfast was good. Pity we only had time for one night.

Excellent choice for families. New facility in a very convenient location. Walking distance to the downtown, next door to a great restaurant, and pool and playground on site. Amazing views if Bayside. Ample free breakfast and parking. Overall great stay with no concerns.

Great place to stay on Chincoteague! I stay here every time I come to the Island or for a Launch at Wallops Island. The Launch Team stays here too! So if you are coming for a launch, book ahead!

Very nice room, we got a master suite, it had a couch and 2 TV's along with a master bed. WE were on the Bay side, be sure to ask for the bay side, it has the best views. We loved the room and had a free breakfast as well! Didn't get to use the heated outdoor pool, but it was a great location for watching the sunset. The view from our balcony was really nice, we were right over the edge of the water and one evening got to watch a pod of dolphins swim by!

Your front desk agent or managar ( if not a front desk manager already ) needs to be one. She hit all the points at check in, she was professional yet super sweet and helpful. I am a GM myself up in new jersey and i want her at my hotels.
Also at 11pm i heard her on the phone audit called out and she was willing to make the shift work and cover.
This associate needs to be recognized!

The best hotel in Chincoteague friendly staff beautiful hotel clean comfortable and beautiful sunsets every night! Fun restaurant next door called ropewalk live music in the evenings.

The staff were friendly and the service was exceptional. The facilities were clean and well maintained. I would have given a higher rating, but the breakfast was terrible. You may want to consider other breakfast alternatives.

Very relaxing visit! Lovely view, outdoor heated pool, and has everything you need really. Only thing I would say is that their continental breakfast wasnt as great as it has been in the past (or as great as other hotels in the area) but other than that it was awesome.

We stay at Marriott hotels because it is consistent and we know what to expect. Everything was good here as well except the breakfast. It was poorly supplied with very limited choices
