It was a good, clean stay. No complaints. A nice , clean room. The hotel is in center of plenty to do. Lots of restaurants in the area to enjoy.

Above average comfort and spacious rooms. ( we had the mini suite) the bed and pillows were so dreamy. Everything in the room and hotel smelled clean and appeared clean.
There were never any towels at the pool. And when I requested 5 , she only had 1. Not sure what is going on with the laundry crew. This was every day we were here so it wasn't just a one off situation.
But really, I love this place and would stay for a 3rd time on our next little adventure. :)

The only thing bad I will say is the breakfast offered was horrible. Make you own waffle tasted like rubber. The butter was 48% vegetable oil. The sausage link was ready cooked and then microwaved (was cool and not browned) No crispy bacon. The coffee was okay, but real half and half and sugar in the raw would have made it so much better. Perhaps don't offer breakfast if its not edible.

Was on a business trip and had a great stay. Property was clean and everything was in order.

Mattresses are over 10 years old. FIRM. Hottub didn't work the second day just because staff can't restart the estop. Breakfast was ok.

The property itself was fine except the continental breakfast was really bad with very few choices and the staff didn’t keep it stocked. The main problem was a snarky young lady at check in named Cal who gave us a hard time about my son who has Tourette’s and ADD/anxiety a hard time about his ESA dog. She was rude and ignorant of the laws regarding ESS animals. It got worse though. The second night of our stay a guy by the name of Mike actually yelled and cursed at our son after my son told him she was an ESA pet and had been taken care of at check in. He chased our son to the room because my son wouldn’t tell him any other information to get our room number while yelling you’re not going to f****** get away with it because I’m going to put a $250 pet fee on your bill. We will be filing complaints with HUD and the BBB so they can be esucated on the laws and this won’t happen again. We filed a complaint with Wingate corporate and they indicated they would call us back and never did. Buyer beware!!

The room was an average hotel room with clean beds, a functional tv, a cigarette burn in the rug and your standard bathroom stains. Unfortunately the pool was not functional and we weren’t informed until we came down to use it after checking in and had to disappoint our kids that it was closed. The staff story changed a few times, first saying that it had to be cleaned after a rowdy weekend, but it’d be ready in the morning. The following morning they had found glass in the pool and had to continue running maintenance for safety. That’s the right call, but staff was unapologetic and did not offer any other solutions. We were referred to the GM who still wasn’t able to resolve the issue, and was blunt about her inability to do anything else for us.
It’s too bad - a decent hotel was tainted by a series of miserable interactions and deficit of listed amenities.

The lobby is nice & clean. The room overall is clean but the walls have handprints & are dirty. Im pretty sure there's a booger beside the body mirror on one of the walls. We utilized the pool which was fine. Breakfast was also good. The beds we had 100% need upgraded. They are very, very hard. I woke up sore this morning.

Our air conditioner was broke in our room, housekeeping left dirty towels from previous guest in our bathroom, we called 3 times for clean towels and never received them. This was the worst hotel ever!!!!

The hotel was very clean, with a modern look. It was tucked back in a quiet, yet still very convenient location. The best part was probably the whirlpool and indoor swimming pool. After a long weekend of travel it was nice to be able to relax in the whirlpool. I will definitely stay here again next time im in the area.

This hotel deserves higher than a 5! It was one of cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at! The staff was helpful and friendly. It was extremely quiet and well maintained! It was also conveniently located to a variety of restaurants. We will definitely make this a stop again in the future!

Have stayed here several times. Always comfortable. This time stayed in a different room - had a suite this time. The bed was low and very uncomfortable. Mattress needs an update. Otherwise the room was very comfortable.

It took 10 minutes for the front desk receptionist to finally come to the desk and then continues to not know what she was doing and take another 8 minutes to get my room key. Then I needed extra towels for the pool which I was told she would get for me. Well that never happened and she was nowhere to be found when I went to look for her once again.

The need to replace toilet seats. It’s an inexpensive way to enhance the stay of customers and up ratings. No one wants to sit on a worn out toilet seat that’s all scratched up. Room 323 to be exact!

The water pressure is too low. Air conditioning is noisy.The toilet bowl water is too hot ,you can feel it when you use it and sometime does not flush. I thought The water is suppose to be cold. I dont like the this toilet flushing system. I like the one with the valve and flapper.

I asked for a laundry bag for clothes no laundry bag available was given trash bag. I asked for someone to come to my room to fix the TV because the TV is not working no one ever came.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel clerk was very helpful after our reservation had been canceled by Expedia for some reason. The pool was perfect to enjoy w/our great granddaughter, the breakfast was very complete, and we'll stay there, again, when we travel to Texas.

The lady that worked at the front desk used a pass key to enter our room while we were in the room. I had just gotten my disabled son dressed minutes before she entered the room. Did not knock just came in and didn’t even apologize. It really freaked me out. Will not stay there again. This was in Slidel, La.
