Our stay was very pleasant. Checking in was simple and nearly complete when we arrived. Just a few signatures and it was done. The complimentary afternoon snacks were perfect appetizer prior to going to dinner. I do miss the small puff pastry they used to have for snacks but that is splitting hairs. The room was clean and quiet. The music playing on entry was a nice touch. The continental breakfast was good and the chef was nice and helpful. I would recommend staying here.

Staff was super friendly and you can't beat the ocean view! Chef was also great and made us a delicious breakfast we enjoyed on our patio overlooking the water.

The place has a beautiful view off your balcony. The room was relaxing and inviting with a jetted tub. The staff was friendly. The only complaint I have is the freeway noise is very hard to drown out. Nothing they can do with that because of the location.

Very unique property. Rooms are fantastic! Be prepared for hwy noise (but they provide ear plugs). Service could be better in terms of not closing the office at 3 pm. That is WAY too early.

Cute motel-like property overlooking the freeway and elevated train tracks. Convenient place to stay away from Santa Barbara if you don’t mind train and highway noise.

The Inn is very cute but noisy next to the main hwy. We had a nice view of the ocean and the cookies and breakfast were good. We were disappointed that they put us in a room below someone else and there were only 2 other guests staying at the Inn. With all the empty rooms that night, you think they could have given us a different room.

Laura was so gracious and friendly checking us in and out. The continental breakfast was much more than we expected. It was a lovely room and comfortable bed, Even though the 101 is right across the street the room had ear plugs and a white noise machine, we didn't need either. It was quiet.

Staff was excellent and available. The room was welcoming and lovely. I forgot something in the room when we left and they called and emailed me immediately. That was pretty cool and much appreciated.

Wonderful service at the front desk and a great breakfast prepared just the way you like it. I would highly recommend this place.

Summerland and the surrounding area was beautiful. Lovely view from balcony. Hotel needs to be updated. Staff is friendly. Location was good. Room was ok, but could be so much nicer. Wood floors felt unclean.

Unfriendly desk clerk at check-in. At check out, the clerk never even asked “How was your stay?” That’s ridiculous. There was a giant chunk out of the crown molding in the bathroom. A botched caulking job around the faucet in the tub. Freeway noise is CRAZY loud, but I should’ve recognized this from the location on the map. I got drawn in by the whole “room with ocean view. Never coming back to this place. Trash management, clearly.

Fixtures are a little outdated like the shower trim plate falling off and the rooms being a little dirty but the staff and location make this hotel a worthwhile stay!
