Cozy and charming B&B

Staff was always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was always good. Short walk to nice restaurants and shops.

We loved our stay at Grape Leaf Inn. Will and Candy were sweet enough to give me a cup of coffee before my morning walk and before breakfast. We stayed in Zinfandel and loved all the skylights and huge tub with jets. You are no more than a 5-10 minute walk to town. We can’t wait to come back!

The chef is amazing! The breakfast was not only delicious but creative and fun. The room and the grounds are very nice and you can walk to numerous restaurants. However, it is the chef that makes this B&B stand out.

There was seven of us and we had four rooms with updated furniture and Decor. The rooms were good sized with fair size bathrooms. Very clean and well maintained. We stayed there around middle of June for one night on our way to our destination and returned back to stay another three nights! Staff were very friendly and a very nice chef who prepared and cooked us great breakfasts every morning with fresh squeezed juices served outside in a cute garden! Down town was within walking distance with very nice restaurants and shops and we visited several vineyards too. Overall we truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel as well as Healdsburg and the surrounding areas. Thanks to everyone specially Veronica, the manager of Grape Leaf hotel who took care of our needs. We definitely recommend this beautiful cozy boutique hotel that has a interesting history too!

The room is definitely a high risk for a head injury or slip and fall getting into and out of the enclosed tub/shower. There were no glasses or tissues in the room. When using the bathroom you are facing mold on the shower door. At 5’2 I took the side of the bed with the slanted ceiling and continually banged my head. My poor Husband really saw stars when he opened the dresser drawer and raised up. This is what we call a rip off even if it was only $100 instead of $300 a night!

My girlfriend and I had a great stay. It was a very comfortable, luxurious place with a good breakfast. Just a few blocks from the plaza area. A big bonus was visiting some of the co-owned wineries which waived their tasting fees, making the entire trip a real bargain. It was a nice way to experience wine country. I'm sure we'll be back.

It took a long time for the water to get hot in the sink in the morning. The breakfast was yummy and the service was perfect. The decor and atmosphere is charming and we had a wonderful time. We will be back.

Gorgeous Inn with lovely places to sit and sip. Bed was super squeaky, and there was no fan in the bathroom. But the room was otherwise charming. Snacks and wine in the afternoon, and the breakfast was tasty. Only complaint is that it was served before I sat down, so it was cold upon arrival (the rest of my group was already seated).

Welcoming, comfortable, great location in Healdsburg, tasty breakfast. The steep ceiling was a bit low, which could be a problem for a tall person.

Grape Leaf Inn is the perfect place to stay in Healdsburg. It is roughly 2-3 blocks from the town center so it gives you the location you want for dinner and shopping and peace and quiet. The inn keepers were delightful and very accommodating. They provided an additional fan upon request so I could sleep in my meat locker cold room at night. My son teaches classes very early in the wee hours to children in China. They made sure there was a coffee press and snacks in his room before he go started. They were kind enough to provide a bottle of sparkling wine to another one of our group whose own bottle was borrowed from the community refrigerator. All I can say is they went out of their way to make it a perfect stay. Can I also say the breakfast was spectacular? Every day we had a different breakfast option and every one was delicious!! Would stay here again if and when we return to Healdsburg.

Beautiful accommodations. Perfect location just out of the center of town, but an easy walk to it. Lots of extras. Delicious breakfast. Very helpful staff.

Quaint little property in reasonable location to town centre! The only negatives are:- you can hear absolutely everything bar the breathing of the neighboring guests, bed squeaks and creaks...the mattress seems well used and we both woke up with stiff lower backs!

We had the Sangiovese room for a weekend wedding. We dropped our luggage off in our room Friday late afternoon QUICKLY to go to a pre wedding party at 5pm, didn't even change clothes and did not return until around 11 pm when it was dark. The next morning I noticed the base of the toilet which had red streaks on it as well as streaks of other colors and bits of debris...disgusting. Then I also saw the same streaks on the wall next to the toilet. OMG all I could conclude was that someone had thrown up. My husband just wanted to clean it up (NO!!!..plus we needed more than water and bath soap...like disinfectant!!). So I asked Jessica to come in and have a look. She said she couldn't understand how this had happened since they have several checks on the rooms before clients come in. Well not sure how this all happened but it certainly wasn't us...A housekeeping person cleaned it up after about half an hour. Not a good way to start the weekend. Especially when we were paying $535 a night. Pretty disappointing and frankly disgusting. Plus the white rug beside the bed was very dirty, the water glasses were tiny and there wasn't even a coffee or tea maker in the room. Plus no kleenex in the bathroom. AND on Sat our room was hot...75 degrees. Apparently the air conditioning in the lobby overruled the a/c in our room. Jessica at least fixed the a/c...

The breakfast is outstanding, taste & quality is better than 5 star hotel. Staffs are friendly. It's a very cosy inn. Nice little retreat place.

Someone has to get the worst in in the house. We obviously must have picked the short straw at the Grape Leaf Inn when they put us in the Suavingnan Blanc room. Tiny, no seating except for a bench against the wall, other minor and stupid things wrong; things that individually one would ignore, but collectively you wonder why you are paying as much as you are for a substandard room. Window blinds that don't work; a single tissue, carefully exposed in a foofy empty tissue box; no liquid soap in the dispenser in the shower; broken toilet cover, obviously noticed because someone had turned it around so the broken part was facing the wall. Nothing worth complaining about individually. You couldn't ask the staff for more tissues or soap as no one is around after 6 PM. But, the worst part about our room was it's door opens right into to the dining room. Prior to checking into the room, I questioned Jessica, the Hotel Manager about noise from the dining room and a possible room change. She said that breakfast wasn't served until 8 AM and that unfortunately there were no other rooms available. Unfortunately she miscommunicated . The chef apparently accommodates people who want to eat an early breakfast (7:30 AM) versus trying to accommodate the people sleeping next door to the dining room. And there was a vacant room available that we could have been given, away from the dining room. I was not pleased when I saw that we could have been spared the "worst room" experience.
