it was pretty nice for a motel, but the carpet had very obviously not been vacuumed prior to our stay and underneath the furniture was very gross. it was also quite loud since we could hear cars driving by all night. but the bathroom and the bedsheets were clean and the staff was very friendly

The noise from the main road was so loud I was unable to sleep. It sounded like someone was drag racing out there all night. I would never book this motel again. Also in the morning we could hear the people next door as if they were in our room. No I was not a happy camper.

Room was clean. It had the largest tv I have ever seen in a hotel if you’re into that sort of thing. My only complaint is the breakfast. Coffee was good.

Check in was easy, front desk lady was very nice. The room was clean.
Downside, need black out curtains as the room was too "lit" from outside light because the wood shutters didn't close completely. The street noise was loud and we heard cars on the street ALL night long. :(
Consequently didn't sleep well and we ended up leaving before breakfast was served so can't comment on breakfast.

We arrived after a very long drive about 20 minutes before check in. The man inside very rudely informed us he would not allow us to check in yet. The property is on a very loud, busy road and looks quite run down. We stayed in a floor level room which we wanted but were put next to the stairs that people were dragging luggage up and down often. The walls were very thin. The couple right above us were having a real good time all night long so we didn’t get much sleep combined with the noise from the busy road and the stairway. Had planned on going for a swim in the pool but after taking a peek it didn’t look like something you would want to get in. Gross. Breakfast area only had some generic crusty cupcakes. After checkout I was informed my card was declined for some reason. I noticed the woman wrote my card info on a piece of paper rather than a card machine or computer, not sure if something was copied wrong. While driving the next day we’re repeatedly harassed by phone and email to pay them or they would call the police. I let her know I would call them back with my info as soon as I could, we were sitting in the ditch in our car as we were in a car accident right then. I called them back with my card info as I said I would. She was very rude saying she was going to call the police, turn me in for fraud, she had us on video and all our information. Nice. Get your card system fixed instead of accusing customers of trying to rob your junk hotel.

The hotel was clean and the staff was super friendly. We checked in pretty late in the evening and the manager greeted us with a smile. The room is clean but the road traffic was very noticeable. For the price, if I was passing through, I'd stay again for a night.

Check in was great. The gal working the front desk was so friendly and polite. The beds were a little stiff to my liking and we didn’t care for the pillows but aside from that, our stay was great. The water pressure was outstanding.

The room itself was very comfortable with all the amenities you could ask for: comfortable bed, spacious, clean room, microwave, mini-fridge, etc. My only issue was with the horrendous night time 'street racing noise' that was incredibly loud both evenings I was there! I double checked to make sure the windows were closed.

Property advertised breakfast including, however, staff never woke up to serve breakfast. Also, they advertise EV charging but don’t know how to turn on chargers.
All in all, it’s a low budget clean room in an mediocre area but don’t expect anything else.

Good value for money. Updated rooms. Comfortable bed. Breakfast is 7-9:00. We left before 7 so didn’t experience it, but a walk through the breakfast room the prior evening showed waffle maker and yogurt in the cooler. In room microwave and refrigerator. Electrical outlets on bedside lamps.

Was a no frills motel with breakfast included. Bathtub didn’t have a plug, but not huge deal. Would stay again if ever back in town.

They want you to fill in a paper registration and want to get your driver's license and date birth in addition to your name and address seems unnecessary for that. Usually I prepaid all stays, I guess the prepaid option was not available or missed it when booking because they wanted to collect at the property. They asked for either cash or credit card, hmm. Business is run by foreigners and could not easily understood their motel policies. Door did not have additional chain lock it looked like it was removed or torn off. Other than that. 1 day stay was good.

Do not trust the ratings on this! 2 1/2 stars at best. The check-in process was from about 1980, all handwritten, even writing down the credit card number. Did not seem secure. The room was clean but it was not a great experience & I couldn’t wait to check out. Breakfast at the nearby Capital Grille was excellent though !

The room was very good. It was large, clean and well maintained. There was virtually no insulation so we heard the TV from the room next door all night long. The staff at check in was either high or barely awake He was uninterested and unintelligible. The breakfast was poor. The breakfast area was filthy and had not been stocked. It looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. It’s hard to penalize a property for its location, but it has to be noted. This was not a pleasant area to be in. We were just there to sleep so it didn’t matter all that much. That said we were a bit nervous about the contents of our car.

The property is nice enough, you can tell it's older. Everything was clean. It sits right on a busy highway and is noisy with engines revving a lot. The breakfast was standard. The clerk was helpful but was having a conversation on his phone on speaker the whole time we were checking in. I don't think it was a work conversation but I couldn't tell for sure as I don't speak any other languages. The bed was too firm for me but fine for my husband.

Stayed here twice in December; one was in 202 and room was OK—it’s an old property with no upgrades; one was in 101 and room was terrible from top to bottom. So, OK for first night and gross for the second night.

I don’t understand how this hotel has such great reviews. The staff are extremely rude, the bathroom had hair all around the toilet, the mirror had broken pieces that had fallen around the sink, the bed was super hard, and the walls are PAPER THIN (you could hear everything outside and next door.) the breakfast was the least it could be (waffle machine, cereal, and a gallon of milk) I would not stay here again.

Property was okay-ish. They lack some basic ammenities. Mostly the building is old and the neighbourhood is sketchy. But the staff was good with the limited resources they have.

The rooms were fine, beds were good first night but were squeaky the second night for some reason. The shower head needs replacement as it just put out a hard spray. Positives for the property are that rooms offered several charging outlets and also it offered one EV charging station in the parking lot. Overall what I can say about Sandia is that it was adequate, especially given that it was a pretty low price.

We have stayed at this Inn several times and have always been very comfortable. I don’t know if it was just the room we got this time but the bed was not comfortable at all 😞. Other than that we love the place and it’s very convenient to Old Town

Very clean spacious room. Good value. Good shower water pressure.
Cons were I could hear a neighboring room talking way past midnight. I was also given a room that had a locked interior door that adjoined with next room. Not a fan of that.The complimentary continental breakfast area was a bit rundown and there were mites and such flying around the cereal dispensers.

Seems like the place may have been trashed by the last occupants. No shower head, TV wasn't working and no security lock on the door. Sad to give this review since I've stayed many times and it was fine, but this was poor for the price we paid.
