Only stay in a pinch. Pretty run down. Worst bed ever. Beautiful location.

Staff was friendly and helpful but the shower was rusty, the plumbing was not installed properly, and the bed was way overdue for a new mattress.

Good ocean front view. Friendly staff. Walkable to shopping and restaurants. Laundry room available. Rooms could use new carpets and a fresh coat of paint.

Pg ROS: -very close to the water -it had a functioning a/c unit -there is an awesome multiuse path that goes for miles in both directions that cuts through this property CONS: -this is an old, tired property. It needs a lot of TLC to restore it to its former glory -the area seems to attract lots of street folks -the bed is uncomfortable -cleanliness is less than desirable

The property was located near shopping and restaurants. It is walkable but we ended up renting a car once we were there so we could explore further down the main highway where everything was located. Location was great. It was a smaller scale hotel with an excellent view of the ocean. It had the most beautiful sunrise views from the room. The staff at check in was so friendly. It was easy and quick to check out chairs/towels for the day. The room served its purpose. The air unit worked great, however it had dust bunnies in the vent when we arrived. The staff did come to the room to offer cleaning of the air vents while we were there. The bed was comfy. The walls were a little scuffed up but it was definitely worth the price compared to surrounding areas. I have already made my reservations to return to this hotel again for July

I liked my stay at the Coral reef due to its location and friendly helpful staff. The room seemed to be updated and well appointed. There was a few insects greeting us and a lot of areas had not been cleaned such as dresser drawers causing me to live out of my carryon bag for a week.Not gross but needed a thorough cleaning.

The rooms say soundproofed, but i heard a party outside my room late. It says A/C, but the unit didn't have a controller in the room to turn it on. The clock was on the wrong times, so I couldn't easily set an alarm. The walls are marked up and need painted. The sinks dont have drain stops in them, and the toilet was running all night. I never got a receipt, and am still trying to get one. Last minute booking was over $50 cheaper for the person who booked calling in the same time I booked on Orbitz. All in all... great location that needs some TLC and has great potential.

The property looks okay from the beach but it is severely run down and in need of major refurbishment. The room and furnishings look like they dated to when it was built in 1956. It may be known as a boutique hotel but well worn carpeting and furnishings, broken patio door handles, dirty walls and thick dust on the ceiling fan all indicate that maintenance has not been a priority at this hotel. The outdoor amenities included a green pool and an unusable rusted out charcoal grill.

Right on the beach; adequate parking; walking distance to lots of eateries. Section we were in ( upstairs near office) seemed ancient, and really in need of major facelift. It was supposedly City View...we overlooked a dumpster and broken discarded furniture. Pool looks great in photos, but needs some TLC. Pool furniture broken or sagging. Beware: parts of the carpark become ponds after rainy nights = wet shoes and feet for the day!

Wonderful place. Arrived at night and awoke to the beautiful coastline vista. Staff couldn’t be sweeter.

Location is good.. Its on the beach and easily walkable. Room is clean but Bathroom was not clean. Tub had rust on it and shower rod was broken

Stay away if you can! Even if you’re on a budget, find another place to stay! This place gave us a room with ripped sheets, lock that doesn’t work, toilet paper holder that’s rusty and offered rusty bikes for free. I didn’t feel safe here. There’s cats living in the building and I’m not sure if they have people who actually live here because they were feeding the cats in the hallway. Bad customer service too! They didn’t even try to fix the easy issue (give us new sheets or covers that night). I do not recommend this place! The carpets are old and smelled moldy. Maybe staying at the “newer” building might be better over looking the water. Overall, the manager was not helpful to help make changes. He was mean when we checked out. They offered to move us to a room that’s under construction without a working AC. I’m so glad we booked through Expedia because they helped us resolve the issue.

Love the ocean view but the hike/bike path has lots of garbage around it. It does not belong to the hotel, so it is not their responsibility.

Location fantastic, walk to town, oceanfront. Condition sad, tired, rundown. Walls need paint, curtains moldy, carpet gross. Furniture beat up. Toilet handle broken, elevator floor dirty, grounds littered with soda/beer cans, garbage. Way overpriced. Staff very friendly, helpful.

Property is really beat up conpared to pictures shown. Neighborhood is lots of honeoess peple, beat up. Its on the beach so inguess that is good and you can walk tonshops and restaurant. But really a worne out area. Most inportant, hotel pics are deceiving and not worth the money they are asking.

The property was very tired and needed some updates. The fabric furniture was warn out and the mattress was very hard.

Just Nasty! You’d think because the price was comparable to the resorts in the area, the quality would also be comparable. Nope! There was a vinyl club chair in the bathroom.. next to the toilet.. why?? This place is on the list of most questionable purchases.

Friendly staff. Room is dusty and moldy. The sheets and towels were clean. Armoire in room had mold on bottom half. Hadn’t been dusted in at least a few weeks. Walls could use a fresh coat of paint. Carpet floors were sticky and dirty. For around $300/night, you’d expect a clean room. Pictures on their website are not current. Might have been 10 years ago. Beautiful views and close to restaurants.
