Staff friendly and helpful..Continental breaskfast served. Liked streaming TV with very large screen. Nice looking bathroom and right on the beach.

We came over for M2B marathon race. I understand it's a motel, and overpricing during the event. But, it's so dirty, ant in the room, noise during the night. If anyone looking for a place to stay, this is your last choice.

Toilet only has one bolt.
Spa does not work. Tub has no stopper.
No downstairs rooms at 3:00 PM check in.
Both my wife and I are disabled. The lady did help carry our bags up stairs.

Great economic choice right off 101. Awesome location to be able walk to Von’s, Starbucks and even down to the beach. We were greeted quickly with a hello and a smile by the young man who checked us in, he was friendly and very helpful. The Inn is very adorable, the room is average size. The room did show some signs of extra wear, our room even had the door molding damaged by what appeared to be a large dog. There were few a holes in the walls, and room really needs some love and TLC. Still a great place to stay especially for the price, a few dollars spent in the room would go a long way.

Friendly people but if you come during off season (winter), prepare to be cold in your room. You're less than a block from the beach.
Also their network(G2) is way too low for a commercial building. TV and live streams kept seizing up. All. The. Time. Very fustrating. The bath faucet is a bit tricky. If you put on the hot water full blast, you'll get warm water. If you place it half way, you shouldn't have a problem. Unless multiple people use it at the same time.
I shan't be going back. Especially for their prices. There are many other hotels in the area you could choose from. They should consider dropping it drastically during off-sesson.
On the positive side, there's a yogurt shop across the street that'd way dope. And te place was relatively clean.

This hotel was a block away from a beach and many restaurants along the way. There’s a liquor store across the street with lots of micro brews and sours to choose from. The hotel room was nice, but I would add more fruits to the continental breakfast to round out the spread.

The list isn’t quite correct, I thought I booked the beach house, however when we got there it was a motel suite so the owner did told us that the Expedia had described incorrect information about the property. Please resolve this so other guest is t confused about the information given.

When I booked the property it said it had a rating of 12/10. I don’t mind an older property but the pictures show the hotel on the sand and very clean. The pictures are not accurate. The hotel is new to card keys and the keys didn’t work all the time. We had four rooms and had to get keys fixed everyday we were there. The staff is not always in the office so at one point we had to wait for the office manager to return to get our keys fixed and enter our room.

Great beach-friendly location with good restaurants within walking distance, but the room was not much. No closet. So-so beds. Small kitchen sink that drained very slowly. First morning continental breakfast wasn’t available for the first two hours or so
of the advertised time, and no decaf was served. Staff were pleasant. Nearby neighbors argued loudly every evening. No cleaning service.

Didn’t even get a refund, didn’t end up staying here, walked in and within 15 minutes booked somewhere else. I was disgusted with the poor cleanliness, rundown, and overall unsettling experience.

Close to my relatives, hence our choice.
Property is quite old and in need of some easy repairs. Don't know about big repairs (roof, paint, etc.).
Compared to other, nearby options, this was our choice mainly due to price and proximity - we did not plan to spend much time there except for sleeping.
Bed (king) was comfortable and clean.
Being old, it lacks a lot of 110v plugs or any USB ports, but we managed with what we brought.
Office staff were helpful, but not well prepared to deal with hobos or other types of miscreants, including guests.
The worst ones left, and our remaining nights were quiet and comfortable.

The person at the front desk was having problems with the computer. So she let us in our rooms. And then we received our keys. Then the sign on the wall said the breakfast was served at 7:30, so it wasn’t opened until after we had to check out. So later in the day we went back to make sure we had been checked out fine. Just a lot more about this place than what we have had to deal with. Plus we was being charge for boo rooms a fee almost as much as I paid for the rooms.

Started off with issues checking in, which wasn't a huge deal, but the lady couldn't assign the room keys and was not very professional. I was given the room next to the office, and you could hear everything through the wall (phone calls, conversations, etc). The room had a spa tub, and it had little black hairs all over the bottom of the tub, so we didn't even touch it. It was also the shower so we weren't able to shower. I'm not sure what was above our room, but it sounded like there were 10 people doing jumping jacks all night. It is overpriced for what it is, and I would never stay there again.

The property and rooms were clean and the jacuzzi was great after a long drive. i requested a 1 hr late checkout because I was held up at a doctors appointment. The boy at the desk said I would have to pay for another night and my wife had to wait outside for me with our luggage. I have never had this motel experience before and feel it was poor customer appreciation and service.

The place is old & run down. Both beds were saggy & difficult to sleep on. I haven't seen such a run down hotel in the many years of travel. Only redeeming feature is near the beach within short walk away. This will be my 1st & last stay here.

Property needed work. Staff were polite. But my bed sheets were stiff and scratchy. Turns out there was sand in my bed and it wasn’t me. I didn’t go to the beach.

Don’t book here. Pictures are deceiving. Old outdated. Only one electric outlet worked. No heat or air conditioning. Extra fees charged for nothing. Tub has moldy jacuzzi vents. Extension cords on floor. Staff would not give enough towels for us. Sheets had stains. Free breakfast set up on 1 by 4 foot table. No eating area. No beach view.

Decent stay & room, comfy bed, nice continental breakfast options. Property as a whole, especially all exteriors & broken window screens, feels unsafe & dated & is run down, needing serious renovations & better upkeep.

It was great, Location, Room and the Staff.
They bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed.
Also met the owner, and what a great guy., Very approachable and Kind.

Dirty, old, smelling bad. Saw cockroaches, mice in our room -scared to sleep. Not secured, broken lock on the door, window in the bathroom.

My credit card was charged a $150 deposit for “incidentals” that may take up to 72 hrs to return unless give them cash. I was not aware this was going to be an issue because I paid for the room already.

Our stay was a very GOOD VALUE for what we paid compared to surrounding hotel options. Furniture was old but very functional (some of us can appreciate old) and our bed was fine. Room needed to be repainted, but room and carpet were clean and mini kitchenette was useful. Staff was good and we would definitely stay again.

It was nice because its right by the beach but definitely not worth what we paid for. The rooms where really hot inside them and theres only a fan. The front door was all beat up and there was tape on the window screens.

Loved Safety, neighborhood of Shores Inn. Loved our kitchenette room..Ideal, for Family, of 4to6. Staff, So Awesome!! Always so helpful, to anwer any questions you have. Breakfast: Great!!
Sleepy Business: by 8:30pm, majority, eating places, reject you:"Sorry we are Closing", only one walking "Bar&Grill, was Gracious to, serve you, food, coctails til 9:30pm. Parking@Hotel, set for one car, per room. Once, finding a stall, you...just want to..venture out, your space. Per Hotel, side Street, Parking, overnight...states "Safe",( we just saw: "No Parking, from 9pm-6am, signs", posted. Every pole...We needed, our Secure transport car..back to our home, rather not risk, any Tow Aways, too "Costly, headache".

Very charming and quaint, memories of the 60's and 70's beach place, comfortable beds. Loved how close to the beach it was. Would like to stay there again!
