Overall, a pretty comfortable room with a pretty large shower. The bathroom door did not close easily and the door to the room was a bit fiddly. I also cannot recommend the in-room coffee for great flavor. There was some ambient noise from other rooms.

The personal there were great. Greeted me and got me checked in quickly. Will differently being stay there again.

The price

Enough for the needs and it really needs a new management. Or a least, you, bring your own curtain shower and don't use the nasty rusty furniture.

The bed was so uncomfortable and small. Pillows were so small and uncomfortable. Towels were small and scratchy. The conditioner tube didn’t have enough go condituon my hair and the shower curtain was very dirty. It was cheap and in a decent location and clean otherwise.

I didn't like that it was hard to flush the toilet because of weird remodeling and the time limit policy. We had many delays with our new apartment so we needed 5days but they only allow 3. The remodeling did mean that everything was new and clean though.

The motel was well remolded and the rooms nd the property was very well maintained, but by the third night, my body was covered in BED BUG bites. It is 9 days later, and my body is still healing from that. The owners were kind people and the motel looks great, for a 60 old property, but they need to deal with the bed bugs. Scott Mann

Though they are still working on updates/remodeling the place is nice enough and now restaurants are within walking distance.

The motel is roughly a mile east of Hwy 99 and about 1/2 mile north of "downtown" Porterville in not the nicest of areas. From the outside you think the room will be small and only OK. Inside though, it is clear that the rooms have been upgraded in recent years as everything appeared fresh and nothing had a worn look. Bed was very comfy. The bathroom was the surprise – a giant tiled shower and the countertop with the sink was marble! "A" grade on the room interior. Where I am dinging points on my review was the NOISY wall A/C unit. Despite it having three speeds, it seemed stuck on high, and thus made sleeping with it on difficult. Given how warm the room was when I arrived, I had no choice but to leave it on most of the night. The ceiling fan in the room certainly helped. I am guessing that my A/C problem was an isolated incident, as the motel I am in tonight has the exact same unit and the "low" setting definitely is quieter.

Low expectations given the price coupled with the fact we just needed a quick overnight place for a morning meeting in the area. Big disappointment that the wi-fi was not working and not a concern for staff. Iron and ironing board were not available. Given the price of this hotel, these two items seem they should still be available. We will not be back under any condition.

The room was fine. There was nothing wrong there. But when we came to check in the front desk was gone for a 30 min break. Not what we wanted after 10 hours driving. Most of the restaurants closed while we were waiting to check in
