It was at a close location for our visit. The room we were put in was not the same as pictured when I booked the room & it was close to the road & you could hear the road noise. The staff was friendly and made a point to say hi when we were out going to the vehicle. I felt the bathroom needed up dating & the tub stopper had something in it that I was able to remove before my wife would take a bath. I would give this motel a 4.2 rating.

It was ok for the price I paid off season. I didn’t like that at night you could see light coming in all around the outside door, although the door locked ok. My 3 stars means it was ok, nothing that was terribly wrong but probably wouldn’t stay there again.

Room was exactly as advertised in the pictures online. Nice and clean, smelled good upon arrival. Easy check in, friendly staff. Stayed on a Friday night in October, not too busy. Perfect for the price. Would stay here again.

The room was clean but very dated. We have had worse mattresses but it was pretty bad, we left about 5:00 AM because we just couldn't sleep anyway and decided to drive home. The room rate was great but you get what you pay for sometimes....

Bed was ok, but the tv was small. Very strong smell of curry in the check in office area. Shower head was awful, no ice machine on property and no trash receptacles outside. The positive was a cute gazebo.

Imagine an old motel 6 that someone has tried to update, while the furnishings are updated the bathroom is horrible. Small shower that flooded the bathroom floor due to curtain setup. No hooks o bar for towels so there piled next to the sink. There's no bathroom picture for a reason. The bed was clean but old, broke down and uncomfortable. Air conditioner/ heater was noisy and needs to be updated. If you book through a third party service they require a credit card or cash security deposit for damage at check in. This was a problem as I wasn't comfortable giving them my credit card. The place will do in a pinch but could be better.

A little far to walk to places but a short drive to everything.

It is very well maintained The owners obviously care about thier property. Lovely gazebo and flowers, spaious room with updated USB ports, quiet, large room with refrig and microwave.

Had a 3 day stay at this property. Enjoyed the pool and warm hot tub. Room and bed were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again if our travels take us back to Ludington.

Thebhot tub suit is nice clean and c9mes with fire place. We had much better stay in there suite and was very comparable to othe hotels standered room pricing.

Overall good. Quiet. Clean. But the air conditioner smelled like a barn when you first turned it on and front desk wasn’t very helpful. There also wasn’t a breakfast as advertised.

The AC unit was very outdated and worked poorly causing the rooms to be stuffy. The paint was peeling in several spots and hastily coated on. The shower on the bathroom was hard to use without flooding the bathroom due to no shower liner and a improper lip to block the water.

Super friendly staff! Rooms were very clean and the beds were actually comfy ! Hot tub was more like a warm bath, but that was the only complaint from our entire group of 10!

You get what you pay for. The low star count is mainly because the beds in this place are absolutely horrible! I honestly think i couldve slept better on the floor. They were so hard and if you laid in the middle it was harder but if you laid on one side or the other it felt like you would roll off the bed. When the neighboring guest shuts their door hard it sounds like someone is trying to get into your room. The water pressure was ok but the water itself had a sulfury smell a little bit. Overall it served its purpose. The grounds were clean and the room itself was clean. Comfort was the biggest issue here. It is a really short drive to the beach and a close drive to the downtown area.

It was much nicer and cleaner than expected. Was not impressed that front desk called day of check in for my ETA otherwise they were going to cancel my reservation. I felt rushed.

My extended family rented three rooms, and we all enjoyed our stay. The gazebo on the property was a wonderful little spot for our family members to gather and talk. The staff was friendly and it was quiet at night. We brought along two little toddlers, and it felt like a safe place to have children around. Would stay there again; thank you Viking Arms Inn!

This is based on the King bed spa room. Pros: TV channel selection Spa tub Nice Quiet area Close to downtown Fairly clean if you minus the couple ants and desk chair not being clean. Nice gazebo and pool area. Cons: The king bed is not comfortable. Bathroom needs to be updated. Very old lights or electrical that takes time to turn on in the bathroom. Ants and desk chair not clean. Lights not in sync with lightswitch when we arrived. Minor issue, but nice to have when you arrive later. Alarm clock is crazy bright, white light. There were some ants found on the floor when we arrived. Then the bed was quite disappointing as it resulted in both of us not getting decent sleep. It is overly firm. You might be ok if you are strictly a back sleeper. Expected better paying extra for the nicer suite. If the bed was just changed out I'd be able to overlook most of the cons. A comfortable bed is important.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were always visible and always willing to help. We will definitely stay here again.
