Room was nice,and clean.worst part of my stay was being choaked by truck exhaust in the morning. people back in to space,and warm there vehicles.

Although the hotel looked decadent and old from the outside, the room was pretty good for the price. Great location, not far from downtown and nearby the interstate.

This is an old-fashioned owner-run motel. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The property itself is quirky and dated (the rug was downright old), but clean. The area is the old downtown Sparks, next to the megalithic Nugget resort. It's not a bad area, but not pretty either. It's a great, economical, overnight stay.

Nice older place for the budget conscious... better clientele than Motel 6

Wifi was not working. The air-condition was so loud like you have a motorcycle inside the room.

Parking lot was small. Staff were very friendly and courteous. The hotel needs upgrades/updates. They still have real metal key for the door. The TV in the room is like a 20”. Have blinds for the window. Wood floor feels like it wasn’t mopped. I walk barefoot on it for about 10 minutes and the bottom of my feet were black.

Not suited for a family stay. Old furnishings, crackling paint, loud a/c- heater wall unit. Luckily we checked in right before midnight, slept/showered & got out of there. Crusty place, I do not recommend.

The Inn is older and well worn. However, it was just minutes from our kid's home, so it worked out well for us.

A older motel but well kept and maintained in a clean condition. For being right off 80 it was very quiet.

It was a good stay for the price. I liked that there were multiple dining options close.

I ve been working out of town and stayed in a few places. This one gets my return business. Its clean and friendly. Some where that they actually cleans your room without having to be asked to do it. What a new concept.

I’m halfway through a two-night stay and I have to say that I’m really impressed with the inn. I was for five years a Lonely Planet guidebook author. I have stayed at thousands of hotels. This one is solid in for cleanliness, comfort and amenities (free Wi-Fi, fridge, coffee maker, shampoo, small table with chairs), plus the mattress agreed with my finicky back. There are lots of security lights on the property, the heater/air-con worked well and the friendly clerk said there’s been no car break-ins in all the time he’s worked there. For the cost The Victorian Inn offers great value. I wouldn’t hesitate to give it repeat business.

Wi-fi in room varied from extremely slow to not working at all. Half the room was dark due to a missing table lamp. A half inch gap below the front door and only a tiny heater in the back of the room left half the room cold. Poor room door security (could easily shim the latch and the deadbolt doesn't lock from the outside). Thick accumulated frost took up a third of the tiny freezer part of the fridge. We checked out without spending the night and they said they'd give a full refund. But they charged us for the first night anyway! All that said, the room was very clean and the staff friendly.

It was perfect the staff are friendly the room was clean & they keep the coffee & linen coming.

The following is my opinion. I stayed at the Victorian Inn late Oct. 2023. The property is very old looking, dull in color and not very inviting. The rooms are old, dated and not a friendly place. With that said.. it was cheap and very clean. If your looking for a place to sleep and shower before doing whatever you are going to do in Reno stay at the Victorian Inn. The place is quite and clean. What more do you want?

Room was comfortable, clean and warm. Basic room. Good value for the money.

Room was comfortable for one night. The inn needs some love in general. Couldn't use the microwave to reheat tea before leaving as it kept blowing the outlet with nothing else plugged in or powered on. Like another visitor I used the garbage outside instead of in my room. But friendly staff.
