The staff the manager the premises is lovely. The only issue we found was that the premises at the back of the hotel they empty large waste bins early hours of the morning and the industrial roads near seemed to be a drag strip/noisy. This however has no reflection on our stay just bit noisy at time. Thanks to all.

Our stay at sundowner was fantastic, we cant afford to get away a lot so the cheap price was fantastic. We needed to stay an extra night on short notice at xmas time and they nanaged to squeeze us in with a room change. The rooms are lovely and clean and have everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

We just needed a place to stay the night after a day at Bribie Island and the Sundowner was perfect. Great location, excellent price and very convenient with a restaurant attached. The free basic breakfast supplies was a nice touch too. Thank you. We plan on staying again soon.

Lovely complex, main street but not loud.

Very clean and large room

we did like outside court yard areas but meant we had no privacy. the rooms were extremely hot air con didnt keep room cool. the bathroom was dirty the shower had old grout that was moldy and the shower drainage smelt like a toilet as soon as the shower ran. shower water was not very hot and the bathroom door did not lock properly. The rooms are very noisy when you have people above you and if someone leaves early you get woken by them slamming the door as you have to leave the key locked in the room which we were not told and reception was not open at 8 am when several of us were trying to leave but could not find where to return the key

Couldnt use the free Wifi. Couldnt use the tv as someone had signed in to it and never signed out and couldnt access it.

The Room was rundown, with the blinds falling apart, the bathroom door had no slide guide on the bottom, the toilet was old and worn with use and the shower door would not close. Overall very ordinary.

It was a good place to stay.

The room did not have any teaspoons. The ash tray had butts in it.

Room i was in was clean, tidy and comfortable.

Good stop over

Was kept awake till 3am by tradies drinking and being very loud next to my room. Friday night so i guess they were relaxing. Rang staff, but it took 3 attemps to quiet them down. Room was ok otherwise. Showing a bit of age. Would probably choose somewhere else in future.

It was a nice night staff was friendly and they made U feel welcome

Room 7 was disgusting. Terrible odour either from water leak on the carpet or some unsavoury couldnt make it to the bathroom. This accom is standard for attachment to a pub. As an interstate visitor i found out too late that it was sub standard. Staff in the bistro tried, they were nice but i wont be staying again
