We had a very mixed experience. The resort itself is very nice and the beach front bungalows are nice. Unfortunately, you can see first signs of not doing necessary maintenance in the rooms. The phone didnt work, the shower was leaking and had only one temperature. The massage wasnt very good. Very loveless. The hotel has mayne 80 rooms. Me partner and I and another couple were the only guests which was a bit spooky. Because of that, there was no breakfast buffet and we had to order from a menu which was ok. The location of the hotel is pretty far from anything. There are only a couple restaurants in walking distance. You have to get a cab or a bike to get anywhere. Again... the beach bungalow was nice and the resort is nice and tidy... everything else wasnt too impressive.

Very nice bungalows in a beautiful setting of well maintained exotic gardens, with a stunning view onto the beach and sea. Staff were good. The only thing that disapointed me was the breakfast. Bland and uninteresting especially given the fantastic potential of Vietnamese cuisine. Why serve bland european sytle food mediocrely prepared? Staff in the restaurant are inattentive and poorly trained in customer servive. Reception staff on the other hand are good.

Excellent staff who go out of their way to accomodate your requests. If you want a place to chill out, this is it. Beach is quiet, away from fishing area. Enjoyed good massage too.

This stay was exactly what I needed. After being fed up and needing a break from backpackers hostels we splurged and spend a night here. We where allowed to check in 2 hours early. The we swan in the pool and enjoyed sitting on the beach. Found an English movie channel and watched some great movies in the evening.

Book the bungalow with seaside view. Other than the bathroom was about old. Everything was amazing. Wake up to the sound of the waves, the view of the beach is right in front of your eyes. Very beautiful garden surrounded your bungalow. Breakfast is amazing with wide range of choices to choose from. And also you can rent motorbike from the hotel.

Lovely little resort right on the beach! The pool was sparkling and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There are also two bikes that they let you use free of charge! Location is great - an easy enough bike ride to most of the main restaurants and clubs while still being nice and quiet with it’s own stretch of beach. I wouldn’t want to stay much further east (away from Ham Tien) than this though. We stayed here mid-week and were basically the only ones there. Would highly recommend one of the beachside bungalows! Waking up to the sound of the ocean was a dream - and so romantic. We were sad to leave this place!

We only stayed 3 nights, however should have stayed longer. It was so beautiful, quiet and comfortable. Most of the guests are from Finland, Denmark, Germany or Canada. There are free bikes for use. A fully stocked mini-mart is at the end of the driveway and they also sell bus tickets.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location for the beach and local bars and restaurants. Room was very clean and had lots of space. Nice swimming pool.

Very peaceful relaxing and a beautiful get a way

I used a beach front bungallow 4 nights but the airconditioner was very weak. Breakfast was very simple when there were only few hotel guest. When there were many customers, breakfast was with diverse menu. I lost my silver ring near the hotel main gate. One of the hotel staffs let me know his friend took the ring. But I had to pay 250,000D for getting it back 2days later from the guy. No pleasant experience at all even though I had it back.

This is a great cozy hotel! I totally recommend it! Everything in the hotel description turned out to be true. Great spacious room, fast wifi, close to the high variety of rastaurants and quiet at night. Great location and fantastic breakfasts with high variety of meals and snacks. Great sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach. There were very few other tourists (maily Russians) at that time in the hotels so it was really quiet.

the best staff was the security guards, they spoke really good English as well.

This place is a little hidden gem. It's compact but the grounds are beautiful. The restaurant is a fabulous deal for quality and price. We had no need to eat elsewhere. The beach has nice sand but it's not very deep, and once you walk away from in front of any of the resorts, the beach has garbage. That seems to be typical in Vietnam. The staff were super friendly and always there to help. They work hard at keeping the resort in great shape. Get a cabin if you can because you get a nice outdoor sitting area. We didn't use the pool but it's nice though small. Overall we highly recommend the Cottages and would stay here again. However if you like more shopping and/or selection of restaurants, then stay about 5km west of here.

On our first day, I got food poisoning after only eating at the hotel, it was a big bummer getting stuck inside rather than at the beach. Two days later I decided to eat again at the resort and had no following problems. It was reasonably priced. What I liked: it's on the beach. It was quite and didn't seem too busy. There was free breakfast with many offerings. Another restaraunt was right next door on the beach. It was easy to get lounge chairs. My room was clean. Go to Fairy Stream! It's close and free and beautiful! What I didn't like: food poisoning. Dirty beach. No mosquito net in bungalow like shown in pictures of the room. Terrible terrible service. Food and drinks take forever to receive. We bought many snacks from the mini Mart next door and beer to keep in our fridge. Worst part was a kid who lived there intentionally would harass and splash us at the pool in the evenings. He thought he was so funny. Reception was alerted and they did nothing about kicking hi out of the pool even though the pool rules state kids under 10 need supervision. They saw it was just the kid they knew and left him to continue to bother us. Don't visit near Christmas! Unless you enjoy hearing the same Christmas jingles Cd on repeat two weeks after Christmas!

It was the quiet time of the year in Mui Ne but staff were very friendly an helpful. We had the beachfront bungalow which I recommend. You are only 10 metres from the sandy beach. Most of the time we swam and relaxed on the sun beds. There is a swimming pool too. It is cleaned and filtered everyday, so the water is crystal clear. The onsite restaurant serves a huge range of seafood and other meals. It was delicious too. Breakfast was OK but you should get there early. Overall, I recommend this place and will choose to stay there again when I next visit Mui Ne.

Nice hotel overall. Inexpensive, great pool, beautiful flowers all around, and very close walk to the beach. However, the shower did not work properly and rest of bathroom was falling apart.
