Great property overlooking the water. Very close to all shops and dining. The property managers were excellent. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

Lovely inn by the water. The service and reception is outstanding. We had a suite with mezzanine overlooking the water and having been in many hotels over the years, I would say it was a 4 stars! The are having building work on the outside at the moment and changing windows, but I predict this little gem will become a 4 star-rated hotel in no time. Yes, the bar close by can be noisy but it stopped early for us, and it was just people talking playing ping-pong rather than music. The free breakfast was decent with some delicious homemade muffins and cakes. We will return with no hesitation!

The hotel is in a very central location, so it was an easy walk to many different restaurants and sites. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was a wonderful sitting area in the room that was great for wine drinking and watching TV. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. If we are in the area again, we would definitely stay at this hotel.

Everyone we met was super helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast had a variety of items to eat. Our room was clean with the exception of a fig newton I found on the floor by the headboard. (LOL)

We loved our room. We had a view of the water and enjoyed sitting on the patio. The room was spacious and immaculate. There was coffee and a light breakfast set up just down the hall. We would definitely return.

We had a wonderful two night stay here - it was better than expected, and the breakfasts and the fresh baked cookies daily wee an added touch! The staff were all very friendly and helpful!

Great experience! Stayed at City View Suite, clean, neat, airy, comfortable. Queen bed on first level and another queen bed up in the loft. Bathroom is a good size. Cute little balcony in the room. Continental breakfast was great - oatmeal with fresh strawberries and blueberries, bagels, croissants, cereal, bottled juices, coffee. The gentleman at the front who was checking us in was very nice and helpful. The location is on the water, next door to shopping and tons of restaurants, 10-15 walk to transit center to take the white trolley, even closer to the red trolley. Would definitely stay here again!

The manager, Jane, could not have been nicer or more accommodating. We arrived quite early off of a redeye flight. Our room wasn’t ready but Jane invited us to change into our walking-around clothes in the staff bathroom and called us when our room had been cleaned. The bathroom was a bit dated but everything was very clean. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was generous. Great location on the harbor, too. We stayed only one night but it was great.

My mother and I stayed for a couple of nights in the waterfront suite while touring the mansions of Newport. The hotel was centrally located to everything and an easy walk to so many spots. We loved the view of the harbor and enjoyed the charm of the room. Jane, the proprietor, was lovely and so helpful with answering some questions I had about getting to a couple locations.
I know some reviews mentioned noise from the bar below but we didn’t encounter any during our stay. We visited during the week immediately after Memorial Day so perhaps weekends and/or summer months would be noisier?

Location. Great size room with a lift and excellent parking! Close to everything and breakfast was superb!!!

We arrived prior to the 3:00 check in and our room was ready which was a pleasant surprise. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful with recommendations on things to do and places to eat. The Inn is located right in the center of Newport so walking distance to all shops and restaurants and they now offer a free trolley that brings you over to the mansions and cliff walk. Our room was super clean and the balcony (although very small) was a nice place to sit and watch the boats. We will definitely return to the Harborside Inn and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice spot on the water.

We had a wonderful stay at Harborside! The location was perfect and parking was right onsite in front of the hotel Rooms were clean and spacious and well appointed. Staff was very friendly! Highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice stay. Great location and comfortable accommodations. Easy parking. Breakfast was very nice also. They still use the guise of Covid to not clean rooms or take out trash in room which is frustrating at this point, especially since I have been at many hotels that have resumed cleaning service... But otherwise it was a great stay and would recommend.
